Chapter 29 Professor's Sightseeing Tour

Before Hallie could say anything more to Hermione, a series of hurried footsteps rang out in the hallway outside the girls' bathroom.

Then, Professor Snape burst into the bathroom with his wand in hand, followed by Ron.

"Hallie!" Professor Snape shouted before he could stand still, his voice filled with unspeakable urgency.

"Professor, I'm here!" Harley replied loudly, dispersing the frost and black flames at her feet.

Hermione immediately struggled to get up from Harley's arms, and quickly slapped the dust off her body.

Professor Snape finally saw everything in the bathroom.

His gaze first circled around Harley's body twice.

Professor Snape breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that Harley was just disgraced and her clothes were dirty, but she was not visibly harmed.

Then, Professor Snape noticed the troll on the floor and gasped.

Ron struggled to hide his figure, as if trying to shrink into the shadows.

"What happened? Hallie, how did you end up here? Do you know how dangerous it can be here? Professor Snape asked a barrage of questions.

"Professor." Hallie thought for a moment and replied, "I'm here for Hermione." She was crying in the bathroom because of something, so I came to comfort her.

We ended up encountering a troll, but luckily I managed to defeat it. ”

Professor Snape seemed to want to say something, but when he opened his mouth, he didn't know how to speak.

In the end, Professor Snape chose to crouch down and examine the troll's corpse.

Harley was about to comfort the frightened Hermione one again when a new voice sounded outside the hallway.

Moments later, Professor McGonagall rushed into the bathroom, followed by Professors Quirrell and Flitwick.

At the sight of the fallen troll, Professor McGonagall's face turned pale.

Professor Quirrell glanced at the troll before letting out a feeble sob, shaking slightly, before slumping onto a toilet bowl and clutching his chest tightly.

Harley gave him a strange look. Hermione didn't react so much when she saw the troll, and she could only say that Professor Quirrell wasn't a good actor.

As for Professor Flitwick, he joined Professor Snape, pointing his wand at the troll, muttering words in his mouth.

"What's going on here?" Professor McGonagall's cold voice was filled with irrepressible anger,

"Miss Potter, Miss Granger, I need an explanation.

Why don't you just stay in your dorm room and show up in this place with a troll? ”

At this point, Professor McGonagall also noticed Ron in the shadows, and added:

"And Mr. Weasley, I think you should explain to me why you're here, too."

Ron's face instantly turned as pale as Professor McGonagall's, but the reasons for the two turned pale may be different.

He opened his mouth, as if he wanted to say something, but in the end he didn't say anything.

As soon as Hallie was about to speak, Hermione spoke first, "Professor McGonagall, it's my problem. ”

"Miss Granger?"

"That's right, Professor McGonagall. I was always not as good as Harley in my own learning of magic, and my grades in all subjects were not as good as hers.

So I'm so sad to run here...... Crying, resulting in missing the Halloween dinner.

As a result, Hallie learned the news from other classmates, so she came to comfort me. Hermione whispered,

"When we wanted to leave the bathroom, we happened to encounter a troll. However, Hallie managed to ...... it Killed.

Immediately afterward, Professor Snape barged in with Ron, apparently because he heard a loud noise. ”

Harley immediately understood that Hermione was exonerating Ron.

Ron also seemed to realize this, and immediately showed a grateful look on his face, and at the same time hurriedly added:

"Professor McGonagall, I didn't see Hallie and Hermione at the Halloween dinner, so I thought they didn't know there were trolls in the castle.

So, I broke away from the Gryffindor's army to find them, and ran into Professor Snape on the way. ”

As he spoke, Ron was glad that he hadn't told Professor Snape the truth, and Hermione had covered it up for him.

After hearing this, Professor McGonagall's face looked a little better:

"Oh—if that'......" Professor McGonagall muttered as she watched them,

"Miss Granger, you silly girl. How can you come to cry for such a small reason?

You have to be confident, and your grades are very good, not much worse than Miss Potter! ”

As she spoke, Professor McGonagall pulled out her handkerchief and walked over to Hermione, gently wiping the dust and tears from her face.

"Hermione," Professor McGonagall said softly, wiping her fingers, "remember, you're no worse than anyone else.

You're the best of all the students I've ever had. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, okay?

If you feel that you are under psychological pressure, you are welcome to talk to me. The door to my office will always be open to you. ”

Hermione's face flushed unconsciously.

After doing all this, Professor McGonagall stood up and looked at Hallie, "Hallie, well done.

Not many first-graders were able to compete with an adult troll.

Go back to Gryffindor Tower! The students all enjoyed a Halloween dinner at their own college.

So do you, Ron. ”

After Professor McGonagall finished speaking, she thought for a moment and added, "Harley defeated the trolls alone and protected her classmates, and Gryffindor added fifteen points."

Ron thinks of his classmates in a moment of crisis and takes the initiative to inform them that Gryffindor adds five more points. ”

Ron's face turned red from white to red, the same color as his hair. He hurried out of the toilet.

Hallie and Hermione apologized to Professor McGonagall, and then Harley left the bathroom with Hermione, who was a little weak in her legs.

After witnessing the trio leave, Professor McGonagall looked at Professors Snape and Flitwick:

"Severus, Philius, have you found anything?"

……

After leaving the bathroom, Ron was waiting for the two at the end of the hallway.

When he saw Hermione and Hallie, he blushed and whispered a thank you to them, "Thank you for not telling Professor McGonagall the truth. ”

"Nothing." Hermione whispered, "Didn't you also think that we might be in danger, so you came to us?" ”

"That's different." Ron's face flushed, "I made my mistake this afternoon, which made you so sad."

If I hadn't said that excessively, you wouldn't have been in danger tonight at all.

So...... So I want to apologize to you, I'm sorry! ”

Ron seemed to shout this with all his strength, and then rushed up the stairs without looking back.
