Chapter 44: The Demigod Trap
Harley quickly returned to where she had climbed out of the castle and entered the castle through the spider silk.
The curse unleashed earlier continued to position Harry, directing the unknown demigod to her place.
Hallie stalked silently. It was already past two o'clock in the morning, and even Filch, the administrator in charge of the night patrol, had returned to his office.
The more Harley moved forward, the more she felt that something was wrong. The location of the demigod seems to be on the fourth floor.
If Harley remembered correctly, there seemed to be a no-go zone in that direction, a no-go zone that Professor Dumbledore had forbidden students to go to at the opening dinner.
Of course, this seems to have inspired the students to rebel. Many of the Gryffindor students had been holding on to Harley and wanted to go on an adventure together.
In particular, the Weasleys twins have repeatedly mentioned this matter, as if not breaking the school rules is not enough to prove their courage.
Even the students of other colleges have quite a few who are curious about what is in the restricted area.
Hannah once discussed with Harley whether there were valuable spells hidden in the forbidden area, and guessed that there was a mysterious magic recorded there, and that a sumptuous meal could be conjured up when used.
Harley could only complain about this, as it was Hufflepuff, whose bedroom was next to the kitchen.
However, Hallie wasn't much interested in the penalty area. She wasn't much of a fan of breaking rules, and Harley would only break them when she was sure that there would be enough gains.
And now, it's clear that the harvest can be big, so Hallie is willing to take the risk of violating the rules.
But Harley was also curious now. It is likely that the badly injured demigod was parasitic on someone else's body and lurked at Hogwarts in order to steal something.
A treasure that can be spied on by a demigod, and Harley also has a little heartbeat.
However, it was only a hint of excitement, as Harley would have to stay at Hogwarts for a long time until she regained her strength.
In this case, it is obviously irrational to take away the treasure hidden by the headmaster.
Hallie quickly made her way to the hallway on the fourth floor, where she ran into Peeves.
Speaking of which, the ghost of the fame who has tormented generations of young wizards never seems to have troubled Harry.
Not only that, but sometimes it would be very frightened when it saw Harley, and quickly ran away.
This is obviously not normal, Peeves only seems to be afraid of Slytherin's house ghost, Barrow the Bloody.
Harrie is clearly not familiar with Barrow the Blood, so it's unlikely that Barrow went to warn Peeves.
However, Harley has no desire to find out, and Peeves will not come to her trouble anyway.
Outside the hallway on the fourth floor, the door was already open.
Inside the door was a three-headed dog, pulling its three heads, motionless, as if asleep.
However, it slept in a very strange position, clinging to one side of the wall. Beneath its body, there is a trapdoor, which is also mostly exposed.
Harley drew her wand vigilantly, her hair fluttering behind her head, ready to watch out for the three-headed dog.
But when she stepped forward to take a closer look, she found that the three-headed dog was dead.
"Quite a neat means. The three-headed dog showed no signs of struggle and was supposed to be a one-hit kill.
This three-headed dog has a complete fur, unlike a unicorn with a smooth cut on its body, is it a soul attack or something attack? ”
Harley didn't rush to open the trapdoor, but carefully studied the death of the three-headed dog, gathering useful information,
"That demigod has the means to kill with one hit? This is not easy, this three-headed dog has such thick fur, and it probably has a strong defense against magic. ”
Harley secretly jotted down this message, reminding herself to beware of the demigod's instant attack.
She didn't think she had the defenses of a three-headed dog. If she gets hit by one of those instant attacks, Harley will only have to consume a magic mirror or a wand.
Hallie glanced at the three-headed dog and resisted the urge to dissect. Such a powerful three-headed dog still has remnants of spirituality on its body, which must be used to make good seals or magical items.
However, this was the forbidden area that Professor Dumbledore was talking about, and the three-headed dog must have been his pet as well.
So it's better for Harley to be out of the ordinary.
Harley unleashed a curse on the trapdoor, and the black flames burned the trapdoor with precision, turning it into nothingness.
Then Harley looked at the deep hole and waved her hand.
The door to the room was closed directly by flexible silk threads, and the room was also covered with silk threads.
A magic mirror was glued to the silk thread as Harley's last line of defense.
Harley then slowly slid down the silk thread, and with her dark vision, she looked around.
There was a cloud of black dust on the ground, apparently something that had been burned and left behind.
In the corner, Hallie spotted one or two vines curled up and trembling, what seemed to be the devil's vine that Professor Sprout had mentioned in class.
It seems that the mysterious demigod was extremely violent, directly burning the devil vine into ashes, and the remaining vines were also frightened, leaving an eternal psychological shadow.
Harley didn't stop and quickly moved forward along the only stone corridor.
The stone hallway was eerily quiet, and you could even hear the sound of water dripping down the walls and the rustle of wings flapping at the end of the hallway.
At the end of the hallway is a brightly lit room surmounted by a high vault-type ceiling.
There are many small birds in the sky that are as brilliant as jewels, flapping their wings and flying around. And there are several brooms standing next to the wall of the room.
It seems that this room is presumably intended for the interloper to use a broom to catch some of the birds and use the bird's magic to open the door on the other side.
But now, Harley doesn't need to be so troublesome. The door had been cut in pieces, and the cut was extremely smooth.
So, Harley enjoyed the benefits left by the pathfinder, and kept passing through one level after another-
Destroyed wizard chess and lifeless trolls.
It wasn't until the last level that Harley was barely held back for a few minutes.
I don't know who set up that level. There is a table in the room with various bottles, as well as an anagram.
The front and back doors of the room were lit with flames of different colors.
According to the anagram, it is presumably that the intruder has to guess the potion that can pass through these flames after taking it in order to continue the invasion.
But Harley didn't take that time to speculate. After all, the black flame in front and the purple flame in the rear are just color deformed to the normal flame.
Essentially, they are just ordinary flames. So Harley, who has the favor of Black Flame, only needs to cover the surface of her body with Black Flame to pass through.
And Harley stopped because she thought about the levels she had just gone through.
In addition to the first level of the three-headed giant dog seems to be somewhat intimidating, the second level is the devil's net that the first graders have learned, the third level is probably to fly up and catch birds, and the fourth level is to play chess......
Why are these levels either crackable even by first-year students, or they leave obvious clues for intruders to clear the level?
It's just more outrageous than the other! Is this really a no-go zone?
Harry had a vague guess in her mind that Professor Dumbledore had obtained a treasure and knew someone was trying to steal it.
So he deliberately set a trap that even a first-year student could pass through, thus trapping the unknown demigod.
So this forbidden area is just a demigod trap.
Thinking of this, Harley looked at the black flames, a little discouraged, and didn't want to move on.
Although she has many outstanding features, they can all be explained by genius. But if it's too powerful, it's not easy to explain.
But on second thought, since he had already arrived here, it was very likely that Professor Dumbledore had already watched him.
So Hallie decided to keep going, at least to get the benefits she could get first.
