The so-called "celestial beings", as opposed to the "mortals" of the "human way", that is, the "immortals", "heavenly gods" or "immortals" who live in the "heavens", are the "parallel universes" with the most "good fortunes" and the largest among the "six realms", and often intersect with the other five "realms" in the "human realm", so that good and evil coexist in the world, right and wrong are inseparable, and karma is eternal!
There are six heavens in the "Desire Realm", eighteen heavens in the "Color Realm", and four heavens in the "Colorless Realm". Therefore, the "heavenly beings" are the "sentient beings" living in all layers of the heavens, whose lives are much superior to those of ordinary people in the world, and their lifespans are much longer, and the gap between the two has even reached the level of "one day in heaven and a thousand years on earth"!
Of course, the "celestial beings" also include the "heavenly kings" from all walks of life, such as the "Emperor Shakti", "the Great Brahma King", and the "Heavenly Demon Lord", etc., and are often called "heavenly gods" or "gods" by the mortal people of the lower realm. In the process of spreading Buddhist cultural beliefs to the east, "heavenly god" is often replaced by an abbreviated word "god" in Chinese.
Therefore, the word "heaven" includes at least four meanings: first, the sky; 2. The Heavenly Realm; 3. Celestial beings; Fourth, the king of heaven. And the "celestials" refer to the "celestials" and "celestial kings". Buddhism believes that everything is "impermanent", so sentient beings in the "six realms" are always in "samsara" and enter the "three good paths" or "three evil paths".
The "Three Virtuous Paths" are the "Heavenly God Path", the "Human Path", and the "Asura Path", and the "Three Evil Paths" are the "Animal Path", "Hungry Ghost Path", and "Hell Path". The "good fortune" of sentient beings in the "Three Virtuous Paths" is greater than that of the sentient beings of the "Three Evil Paths", and the sentient beings of the "Asura Path" are the ones with the deepest karma and the most likely to fall into the "Evil Paths" among the "Three Virtuous Paths".
Therefore, although the "celestial beings" ("heavenly gods" or "immortals") have the greatest blessings, they still have to die at the end of their lives because they suffer from the test of the "Heavenly Dao" - "three calamities and five tribulations". Before dying, there will be five symptoms of "celestial beings", namely, "dirty clothes", "wilted flowers on the head", "smelly body", "sweating under the armpits", and "unhappy seat". Among them, the fifth symptom is "jade dispersion", that is, the immortal has a runny nose, and it is the kind of situation that cannot stop the turbulence.
This is the so-called "Five Decays of Heaven and Man", which is the greatest sorrow of "Heaven and Man", and it is also the "Great Five Declines" in the "Five Declines of Heaven and Man", and only when you cultivate to the realm of "Da Luo Immortals", that is, "jump out of the Three Realms, not in the Five Elements, be with the mountains and rivers, and shine with the sun and the moon", can you be regarded as a "high-level immortal" and avoid the "Five Declines of Heaven and Man".
"Eight Heavenly Dragons" is "Eight Heavenly Dragons", which is the "protector deity" of Buddhism in Hindu mythology. In many Mahayana sutras, when the Buddha speaks to the bodhisattvas, arhats, bhikshus, etc., there are often "eight heavenly dragons" who participate in listening to the Dharma and maintaining order, and the "heavenly beings" and "dragon beings" are the strongest and most important.
When listening to the Buddha's teachings, the "sentient beings of the six realms" should speak in terms of those who have attained the "heavenly body", that is, the "heavenly body" ("heavenly beings"). It should be said that the person who has attained the "dragon body" is the "dragon body" (dragon people); It should be said that the one who has attained the "Nakshatra body" is the "Nakshatra body" ("Nakshatra body");
It should be said that those who have attained the degree of "Qian's mother's body" are now "Qian's mother's body"; It should be said that those who have attained the "assura body" are the "asuras"; It should be said that those who have attained the "Garuda body" are the "Garuda body"; It should be said that the one who has attained the "kinnara body" is the "kinnara body"; It should be said that the one who has attained the "Maharaja body" is the one who has attained the "Maharaja body". Thus, the eight "Shinto monsters" appear as they are under the baptism of Buddhism.
As the "protector deities" mentioned in the Buddhist scriptures, they are actually eight kinds of "Shinto monsters", among which the "heavenly beings" and "dragon beings" are the leaders, and there are also "Yakshas", "Asuras", "Gandharva", "Kinara", "Garuda", and "Maharaja", each of which has a strange appearance, different skills, and different combat effectiveness.
"Ten" means "god", and many "gods" who are richly dressed or dignified in appearance are honored as "Emperor Shakti" and often stand to the left of the Buddha to listen to the Buddha's teachings.
As the name suggests, the "dragon" is "dragon", and when it transforms into a human form, it has an "Indian dragon" on its head, which is like a large snake and has no limbs, which is its body.
"Yaksha" is the "ghost who eats ghosts", wearing a pentagonal "mountain crown", with a green face and fangs, angry eyes, and a little ghost in his arms ready to devour.
The "asura" has "three heads and six arms" or even "many heads and many arms", and its face has a bloody mouth, a green face and fangs, and the middle face of the three faces is called "compassion", and the other two faces are "evil face" (anger) and "smiling face" (joy). Because of his hatred with the "Emperor Shakti", he once went to war with the "Heavenly Beings".
"Qianminpo" is the "god of music" of the emperor, wearing a high crown, good at playing, with a pair of big long ears, good at using illusions, but the combat effectiveness is not strong.
Kinnara, also known as Shakti's "god of music", is good at dancing, but has a foot in front of his bun and on the top of his head, and is good at sneaking up on his opponents while fleeing.
"Garuda" is also a group of "golden-winged Dapeng birds", the bird's head is human, controlling the wind and thunder, the combat power is strong, there are wishful beads on the head, and they like to eat dragon meat the most.
"Maharaja" is the "python god" of the snake-headed human body, the best at controlling all kinds of snakes to release poison, strong devouring power, and its neck is wrapped around a snake.
In contrast, in "Journey to the West", the 100,000 "Heavenly Soldiers and Heavenly Generals" in the so-called "Heavenly Court" mainly come from the monastic place, the demon world and the human world, and can be divided into three categories according to these three sources: first, monsters with good performance and no small skills; second, mortals who have done good deeds and accumulated virtues and are worshipped as "gods" after death; Third, people or animals who are cultivating in immortal cultivation places. Therefore, this time it was the first category that was summoned by the spells of the "Horse Immortals".
For example, there are "Nine Yao Star Officials", "Twelve Yuanchen", "Twenty-eight Nights", "Thirty-six Tiangang", "Seventy-two Earth Evils", as well as the mounts of various immortals, such as "Di Ting", "Golden Retriever Roar", "Dapeng Bird", "Bull Demon King", "Jiao Demon King". The reason why these "Heavenly Soldiers and Heavenly Generals" will "project" to the Nether Realm is also because they have been worshiped and summoned at the same time by the "Northeast Horse Immortals" and "Baojia Immortals" all the time. However, because the opponent is the "projection" of the "Dharma Protector Heavenly God" of Buddhism, the "Heavenly Court" in the East feels that there is no need to turn against the "Lingshan Group" in the West Heaven because of sesame trivial matters, so it is inconvenient to send the "Four Heavenly Kings", "Eight Righteous Gods", "One Hundred Thousand Water Army" and other nether realms, so they have to let the "miscellaneous soldiers" come forward.
