Chapter 20: Good morning

When the next morning's sunlight poured into the room through the window, Alicia opened her eyes in confusion.

The fire was almost extinguished, and only rose-colored charcoal and white ash remained, and then she found the black coat draped over herself.

Alicia snapped to her senses, trying to get up from her seat quickly, but the crunch of her bones froze in place.

A pain crept through her body from the bottom up, and she let out a low groan and sat back down, only now remembering that she was no longer the self she had been in her twenties.

She lifted her protruding hands and touched her face, touching the drooping skin and wrinkles, and her mood was terrible.

She looked at the fire, at the fire that was about to be extinguished, and in a panic added some more wood from the basket on one side, and raked some more ashes.

I have to say that the owner of this castle is really too lazy, and the ash accumulated on this hearth is enough to plant several acres of land if it is used as fertilizer.

As new firewood was added, orange-red flames burned from between the firewoods, small, curly, and then, a face popped out of the cracks.

"Good morning, wow." Cassifer said enthusiastically, "Did you sleep well last night?" You can actually sleep on the sofa next to it, which is more comfortable. ”

"Thank you for your kindness, but I wish you had said it sooner." Alicia said, "I can't stand up in pain right now. ”

Then she looked at her black coat, "Whose clothes are this, and who put it on me?" ”

Although she had asked the question, Alicia already had the answer in her mind, her sense of smell was still very sensitive, and the owner of the smell on the dress had danced with her the night before.

"Is he back?" Alicia asked concernedly.

"Two hours after you fell asleep." Cassifer said.

Alicia subconsciously looked back at the stairs behind her, and when she saw that no one was coming down, she asked in a low voice to Cassifer.

"Did he say anything about my unsolicited arrival?"

"Don't worry, I'm a fire demon! Even for the sake of my Lord Cassifer, he'll let you stay here for one night! Cassifer said confidently, burning.

"That's not what you said last night." Alicia teased.

"Ahem." Cassifer coughed twice, "Anyway, the contract is a two-way street. ”

"So how much did he give you to do that?" Alicia asked curiously.

"You know, I can't say."

Alicia sighed a little helplessly, "It's really annoying magic. ”

She struggled to get up from her seat, crunching all over, and she staggered to the window she hadn't bothered to the night before.

To her surprise, outside the window was not the town of Romill, but a port city, and she saw a sloping, unpaved street, with rather rudimentary houses on either side of the street, and the towering masts that stood behind the houses.

In the distance, you can see the sparkling sea, and many fishing boats are sailing on the sea.

"Where is this?" Alicia looked back at Cassifer in some surprise.

"A small town in the south, called Eagle Point, is also the inner workings of this castle and the real location of my body."

"Okay."

After all the days of yesterday, she was immune to this kind of thing, and she began to take a serious look at the place.

It was a little smaller than she expected, with black beams falling low from the ceiling, and of course, it was probably because there was more space upstairs.

When I came in the evening, it was too dark to look closely, but now it was really dirty and scary, except for the ashes piled up in the hearth, the wooden planks on the floor were stained with oil and slippery, and the beams were covered with dusty cobwebs.

Alicia wiped the table on one side, her fingers covered in dust, and she glanced at the sink to the left of the stove, staring at the pink and gray slime inside, and the slime dripping from the pump above, and couldn't help but shiver.

To be honest, her impression of Char in the past was: mysterious, elegant, and gentlemanly, and it should be very attractive to see the wilderness witch cursing herself for him.

But now, the image is a little shaken, and she remembers that Cassifer said that Char is a very casual person.

It seems that this casualness should have a little bit to do with laziness.....

Alicia looked at the stairs again, but the man still hadn't come down, and Alicia didn't bother to go up to him, she walked to the door, wanting to look outside.

She stood by the door, carefully opening it, but apparently she was not familiar with the way it opened, and turned the doorknob, and with a jingle of bells, the four-color turntable on the door turned green.

The door slowly opened, and she looked at the slowly moving mountain scenery in front of her with some confusion, watching the heather sweep under the door with the movement of the castle, feeling the mountain breeze blowing through her hair, and listening to the rumbling and clicking sound of the castle's movement.

She closed the door again, tried to twist the doorknob, and then opened, revealing the appearance of a port town in front of her.

Out of the house in front of him was a woman trying to sweep the dust into the street, and behind the house, a huge sail was trying to raise the mast, startling a sea gulls that were soaring over the sparkling sea.

So what is yellow?

Curious, Alicia tried her hand at the same time as before, the faint smell of kerosene mixed with the moisture, the elaborate horse-drawn carriages and rich people walking through the streets, and the streets on both sides of the streets were taller and more ornate than Eagle Point.

Although Alicia was active in the palace most of the time, she was still familiar with the smell of the streets of the imperial capital, so almost instantly, she recognized where it was.

"It's a wizard's castle." Alicia muttered to herself.

Bang bang bang ~ The slow, downstairs sound of feet stepping on the planks behind her, and Alicia subconsciously turned her head.

A man went down the stairs.

He was very tall, with dark messy middle hair, sleepy-eyed black eyes, quiet and lazy, he also saw himself, he leaned on the guardrail of the stairs casually, and said with a slight smile on the corner of his mouth.

"Good morning, uninvited guests."

Alicia was silent for a moment, then replied.

"Good morning."
