Chapter 111: The Land of Fairies
Char walked slowly to the door and stepped in without hesitation.
Arthur and Sebas hurriedly followed him.
Almost in the blink of an eye, they were in a dense forest, and all eyes could see a rich green.
Almost all around are tall and stout, trees that have grown for more than decades, dense thickets, flowers all over the field, and the air is filled with a faint fragrance of flowers, fresh and pleasant.
The sky was cut into locks of blue satin by the branches of tall trees, and mottled spots of light scattered down, blinking as the leaves moved.
Sika deer strolling gracefully along the stream, monkeys wandering among the trees, butterflies wandering among the flowers, and birds singing in the trees, there is a lively scene everywhere.
It's a completely different world from the dead forest outside.
Not only that, but Char also saw something interesting, it was a palm-sized woman with thin wings on her back, and her appearance was very delicate, like a miniature version of an elf.
She seemed to be very afraid of people, hiding in the flowers and not daring to appear, only daring to secretly look at them, but this obviously couldn't hide Char's eyes.
Sebas also found the little guy under Char's reminder, and he seemed to have thought of something, and muttered softly.
"Is this the land of the legendary goblins?"
Western elves are naturally different from Eastern elves, and the term is sometimes used as a general term for elves, dwarves, goblins, and other creatures that resemble humans or have supernatural powers.
It can also point to this petite, girl-like creature, but with wings, which is called a little fairy, or a little goblin.
It is something that will appear in many fairy tales, and Char thinks that it should be a spiritualized spirit of something in nature, such as a flower fairy, a water fairy, or a legendary tooth fairy, which should be a kind of thing.
Char walked quickly to the stream, and in addition to the sika deer, there were also some spirits drinking water by the stream, for example, he saw a bighorn deer with blue light on its horns.
"How much do you know about this place?" Char said.
Sebas nodded, "The subspace created by the queen of the legendary elven clan, Tetania, all the elves live in this world.
I've been isolated for hundreds of years, and this is the first time I've come here. ”
Char didn't speak, because not far away, a group of thin-winged elves were flying towards this side, and they came to Char and said to them.
"The Queen wants to see you."
This world was created by the fairy queen, so the moment they entered, their whereabouts were naturally discovered by the queen.
Sebas glanced at Char and saw him nod and smile.
"Of course, gladly."
The leader is a leprechaun in a green skirt, wearing a skirt woven from leaves, and she also looks good.
"Please relax." She said, "I will take you to the Queen's city. ”
The elves surrounded them, and soon, they felt a force that slowly flew with them, flying over the forest.
The dense forest quickly retreated, and along the way, they saw many spirit beasts that were not in the world.
Char also saw villages thatched and house-to-house by the stream, but they were tiny, less than a meter high.
Char felt that even a dwarf should not be so short.
Soon, however, he saw the owners of the villages, a group of people dressed in green, wearing green hats peculiar to Ireland, with red hair, who were only slightly taller than Char's knees.
Char really knows this thing, this kind of thing is also called a leprechaun, or it can be called a shoemaker, as the name suggests, likes to make shoes.
If one is lucky enough to find a leprechaun and catch him (or, in some stories, steal his ring, coins or amulet) he can exchange his freedom for his fortune.
It is one of Ireland's more representative spirits, and there are many houses with statues of these leprechauns placed in their yards.
In addition to this, Char also saw the dwarven villages, which were taller than the houses of the goblin villages, and many of them were hammering on the anvils with hammers, which was very much in line with the stereotype of this group.
Soon, they skimmed through the forest and into a mountain range with many caves carved out of the cliffs on either side.
As if sensing the arrival of Char and the others, they came out of these caves, they were not tall, with pointed noses and long pointed ears, a large head that was out of proportion to their bodies, and a pair of strong feet with protruding bones, like the appearance of legendary goblins.
Passing through the mountains, they entered a plain, where the river meandered like a silver ribbon.
At the end of the plain, a pure white fortress built against the backdrop of the mountains appeared in front of them, it was a cascade city.
The city is divided into seven levels, each with its own walls and entrances, but these entrances are not straight:
The main gate of the main wall is located in the east of the semicircle of the city, the next gate is built in the southeast of the city, and the third is in the northeast of the city, and all the entrances are built according to this pattern.
Therefore, the road to the fortress was laid around the hill in a winding way. Whenever the road passes through the vertical main entrance, it passes through an arched tunnel, with the exception of the first floor, where a massive boulder splits the entire city in half.
This special landscape is partly a natural mountain, and partly a masterpiece of artisans.
This knife-sharp boulder is located just behind the main entrance plaza and extends all the way to the highest level of the circular city.
On the boulder, in particular, a waterfall cascaded down into the city, and with the refraction of the sun, a very beautiful rainbow crossed the city.
The little fairies led them down to the top square of the fortress, where the source of the waterfall ended, and in the pool in the center of the square, an ancient white tree with no leaves stood.
Although they are leafless trees like the Forbidden Forest outside, they have a natural and sacred atmosphere, which should be very special.
They did not stop in the square, but continued to lead them into the city's Consulate.
Here are some human-tall pointy-eared elven guards, dressed in heavy armor and holding swords and halberds standing on either side.
And at the end of the Consulate, on a golden throne, a woman in a green robe was sitting on it, quietly overlooking Char and the others.
