Chapter 516: Is He Still Alive?
The statue depicts an unknown magician, wearing a very delicate magic robe, with medium-length hair randomly draped behind his head, and his quiet eyes seem to contain cosmic stars. He looked straight across and looked into the distance.
Danielle stared at the statue, and somehow, he felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity in the statue in front of him.
Suddenly, he seemed to think of something, his eyes widened suddenly, and the figure he had seen at the station before gradually appeared in his mind
The man who claimed to be a Hogwarts teacher was exactly like the statue in front of him.
He turned his head to look at Adam to the side, but his expression was calm, as if he wasn't surprised.
He had just asked about his relationship with this person in the car, so he knew this person.
Soon, though, the man who looked like a greasy black bat explained.
"My name is Zangzath Moller, your future Potions teacher.
If you're from Black House, you'll be able to take my ancient spell class. β
He looked up at the statue on one side,
"In the world of magic, all magicians basically know this existence.
Obviously, though, most of you come from No-Maj families and don't have some common sense knowledge of the world of magic.
So, it's up to me to teach you the first lesson after coming to this magical world. β
The students generally took the lawn path below, which was closer to the banquet hall, but it was clear that they had been allowed to cross the bridge to the main gate to teach a lesson to those from Muggle families who were first introduced to the wizarding world.
This was a practice that began as the number of wizards from the Muggle world increased over the years.
Taking a history of magic class is secondary, mainly to let these magicians know where they come from and be able to have more cohesion.
"His name is Merlin." "Many of you may be familiar with this name, and indeed as you think, he is the legendary mentor of King Arthur, the sage of the ancients.
He is also the creator of the wizarding world, and even more so the creator of this island in the sky.
So far, the vast majority of the magic that has been circulated in the entire wizarding world has been passed down from him.
Therefore, in the world of magic, he is also regarded as the end of the demon path and the source of all laws. β
There was a commotion in the crowd, and a moment later, a bold magic apprentice spoke.
"Is he still alive?"
Zangzas turned his head to look at him, his eyes inherently gloomy, and when he looked at others, he would give people a sense of unfriendliness.
This unique sense of oppression caused the student who spoke to bow his head and dare not speak again.
The apprentice next to him apparently didn't notice that something was wrong, and then spoke.
"It's not nonsense, of course it's not there, it's all Arthurian people, how can they still live until now."
Danielle didn't answer, but what he knew was that this Merlin might really be alive, and he had only seen him a while ago.
The man who answered quickly met the oppressive gaze of Zangzath, and the expression on his face froze slightly, and he lowered his head.
Zangzath glanced at the crowd, none of whom dared to speak, but avoided his gaze, and after a suffocating calm, he continued.
"This is my second lesson for you, and learning to be quiet is a basic virtue when your teacher is in class."
He looked at the two students who were talking.
"Since you are new students, I will not punish you, but you must also know that I have no second chance here."
Daniel could clearly see a large amount of cold sweat breaking out on the foreheads of the two students at a speed that was visible to the naked eye.
This is a teacher who is not easy to provoke, Daniel thought to himself.
And the words of Zangzas continued.
"His contribution to the wizarding world is undeniable, and without him, there would be no soil for magic.
The world is going to be very boring.
That's why he's here.
He pointed around, "This circle is actually a place for magicians who have made great contributions to the wizarding world.
All the magicians who can make it famous in the annals of history will eventually stand here for everyone to admire.
So far, though, only Merlin has been eligible.
If you can, I hope that any of you can stand here side by side with Merlin. β
They looked around at the clearing, and then at the lifelike statue of Merlin, and at this moment they naturally did not feel that they had a chance to stand here.
However, anyone has the idea of becoming a big shot, and the fire has been planted in their hearts and will blossom one day.
"Keep coming with me." Zangzasi Road.
He led them into one of the castle's foyers, large enough to move Darniere's house in its entirety.
The stone walls are surrounded by blazing torches. The ceiling is so high that you can barely see the ceiling. The façade is a lavish marble staircase that leads upstairs.
They followed Zangzath along the stone-paved floor.
They heard the sound of hundreds of people buzzing from the door on the right, and the rest of the school's classes should have arrived.
Instead, he led them to a small, empty room at the other end of the hall, where the freshmen had been separated from them on the train for a year. And at the moment, all the first-year freshmen are basically here.
Zangzas began to tell them what was to come.
It's pretty much the same as Stark told the new magic students at the beginning, introducing the sorting ceremony, introducing the house, and giving them some time to get ready for the feast.
Soon, Zangzas turned around and continued.
"Now, line up and follow me."
Danielle followed Adam, and together they walked out of the room, through the foyer, and through a pair of doors into the grand hall.
Danielle never imagined such a magical, opulent place, where the rest of the academy students were already sitting around four long tables, above which thousands of candles fluttered in mid-air illuminated the auditorium. Four tables are scorching gold plates and goblets. At the top of the auditorium was a long table where the teachers were seated.
Zangzas took the first-year students aside and lined them up in front of all the upperclassmen, with the teachers behind them. The candlelight flickered, and hundreds of faces staring at them looked like pale lights.
Darniere avoided their gaze and could only look up at the sky, the velvety pitch-black ceiling was dotted with starlight, maybe some kind of magic, the sky was exactly like the sky outside.
It's hard to believe there's really a ceiling up there.
In front of them, there was an enlarged version of the torch, and suddenly, the torch burned into flames.
The flame was very beautiful, pure white, clear like light, and there was silence in the auditorium.
Then, the flames slowly cracked a crack, and even a pair of eyes grew, and a strange singing voice began to echo through the hall.
