The fiasco of idealism?

Qu Yuan's U.S. politics ultimately failed under the obstruction of all parties and the effects of his own internal factors. However, the romantic literature of the "vanilla beauty" style created by Qu Yuan stood out in the pre-Qin period, when a hundred schools of thought contended, and gradually transformed into the most magnificent piece of jade in the treasure house of Chinese literature - Chu Ci.

There are many narratives in later generations, and the romantic and beautiful style of Chu Ci is also a microcosm of Qu Yuan's governing philosophy. He tried to completely integrate the beauty and literature to make the Chu state stand out from the chaotic war period, and the king of Chu was able to become a generation of saints whose merits and virtues were comparable to those of the Three Emperors and the Five Emperors in the continuous cultivation of himself. However, the final result did not seem to be satisfactory, and the brilliance of idealism dimmed after Qu Yuan's leap into the river.

In fact, it is not that idealism failed in the reform of the Chu State, nor does it mean that the beautiful and noble feelings are powerless in the face of the sinister reality of deceit. We are often willing to judge heroes by success or failure, Qu Yuan's political failure, and Chu's failure in development and war are all blamed on idealism's detachment from reality, and their failure seems to have become an idealistic fiasco.

For Qu Yuan himself, although the ideals and goals he pursued were not achieved, and his ideas and ideas did not bring about a great change in the state of Chu, not to mention that this romantic politician influenced the entire era. However, in fact, in his not long life, although Qu Yuan faltered, he always moved forward, although he failed, how could he have failed?

An innovator wants to try to change step by step within the scope of the social system that is not allowed by the social system, with his outstanding intelligence and unrepentant search, adhere to his original intention, and never give up his ideals, and the process itself exudes a dazzling light. Even if it fails, it can't completely cover up this light, so isn't it a tragic success?

Even if the state of Chu failed to resist Wang Qian's more than 600,000 tigers and wolves Qin army in the end, and even if Xiang Yu, the overlord of Chu, also ended up with the tragic end of Wujiang's self-slaughter, the charm and brilliance of their personalities are jaw-dropping and sighing. In essence, the state of Chu tried to resist the unification desire of the times with the strength of a country, which was somewhat stubborn and self-defeating, and the failure of Xiang Yu, the overlord of Chu, was often accused by scholars and scholars, accusing him of not being good at knowing generals, being stubborn and self-serving, and being self-willed. However, there is still the cry of "Although Chu has three households, the death of Qin will be Chu", which echoed at the end of Qin; There is also a triumphant song of "those who have aspirations, things are successful, the cauldron is broken, and the one hundred and two Qin passes belong to Chu after all" resounded throughout the Central Plains; There is also a "life should be a hero, and death is also a ghost." So far, thinking of Xiang Yu, he refuses to cross Jiangdong", which makes people ashamed of themselves.

Not all failures are to blame, and not all successes are worthy of praise. We are accustomed to judging heroes by success or failure, not that we know what kind of person is a hero, but when we are guided and guided by those who have a stronger voice than our own strength, we are in self-protection and begin to choose to listen to the voice of the winner.

Too much blood has told generations of people what will happen to those who disobey and wield swords. Since the time of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, Dong Zhongshu proposed to "overthrow the hundred schools of thought and respect Confucianism alone" and was recognized and promoted by the emperor, it seems that Confucianism has gradually become the favorite ideological system of feudal rulers.

Once upon a time, Confucianism represented sincerity, Taoism interpreted truth, and Legalism demonstrated truth. In order to make it easier for the people to rule, Taoist thought and the Legalist system were quietly marginalized step by step, and the sincerity supported by truth and truth was lost, and in this chaotic world, it degenerated into hypocrisy.

More ideological systems have disappeared in the face of success or failure, since ancient times, history has to be written by the victors, failure is failure, success is success, either/or judgment seems to be one step closer to truth and truth, but in fact, it is not the wings of thought, broken in the cage of power! Any alien who has the courage to spread his wings will be on this cage as hard as iron, and his head will be broken and his feathers will be broken.

Qu Yuan's reforms failed, and the state of Chu eventually perished. We call it failure, because, in the end, the first emperor of Qin, who had a million heroes, could defend the vital place with good generals, and the arrogant and rude Hu people did not dare to go south to herd horses, and how could the scholars who were accustomed to admitting the failure of idealism have the courage to bend their bows and complain?

Xiang Yu's battle was over, and Liu Bang reached the pinnacle of power. We criticize this overlord's tactical strategy and administrative failures, not because Liu Bang really has more personality charm than Xiang Yu, so that the scholars can spare no effort to worship and respect, a son of heaven who dares to use the scholar's hat as a night pot, the reason why he can finally become the defender and great hero of Han culture is not unrelated to the fact that this king has a million-strong army that obeys orders at any time.

The truth is so cruel, the so-called ideals that do not conform to the reality of the situation are all castles in the air, such rhetoric runs through thousands of years of history, so that batch after batch of scholars and chivalrous warriors have never been able to take a step to break through the cage of people's hearts, so it seems that it is really a fiasco of idealism!

When Qu Yuan chose to throw himself into the river, his humanity was enough to pierce thousands of years of thick time, and it still seems that we are still in awe, not everyone has the courage to pursue their dreams, nor is this journey to pursue their dreams completely failed. At least, the state of Chu once took a small step towards prosperity under his guidance, and at least, the romantic and noble Chu Ci has influenced generations of people. Although the state of Chu has perished, and although Qu Yuan has long since died, his idealism, supported by this fearless courage, is still moving forward, struggling, looking towards the light he described.

Although the limitations of the US politics itself and the interference of many factors have made this vigorous journey end without a hitch, there is at least one thing worth cherishing, that is, Qu Yuan's ideals can become a sword that spurs future generations, and it has always been like a shining sword spine, reflecting the various states of the world.

The surging river can dilute the choking smell of blood, and the rolling time can also fade the mountains and rivers, but in this mighty torrent, there will always be some arrogant geniuses who go against the current, standing on the cusp of the storm, wiping the bloody wounds, while indulging in the chanting of the ideal immortality, while struggling to stretch the broken wings that have been destroyed by reality, while soaring wantonly in the storm of the human heart.
