Chapter 3 Miscellaneous Apprentices
The first rays of sunlight in the morning shone on the head of the ragdoll on the doorknob of Taylor's room, and the little ragdoll's head shook, as if awakened by the sun, and immediately tore out his throat and shouted:
"Get up quickly, you, the path of knowledge and truth will not stop because of you!"
Hearing the screams of the ragdoll's head hanging from the doorknob, Taylor opened his tired eyes, sat up from the bed with a broken face, began to clean himself, got dressed, and pushed the door open.
As a soul who has crossed over, Taylor's mind is a bit too much, and he can't calm down for a long time, and he sits until midnight before he barely empties his mind and begins to try meditation.
Finally, he felt a little bit that his mental space existed, but he couldn't open it, which made Taylor scratch his ears and cheeks anxiously, and he didn't sleep well in the second half of the night.
As a result, he came this morning looking exhausted and sleepy.
"It's not a good thing to think too much."
Rubbing his face vigorously, Taylor regained some of his strength, and quickly walked away from the dormitory specially arranged for apprentices.
Taylor came to the door of the apprentice's library, where a notice was posted at the moment, and the paper was written all about their new handymen, apprentices, etc., and each day they completed would earn one point.
Crawling through the crowd to the notice, Taylor looked at the personnel arrangement one by one.
Taylor: The west walkway of the apprentice quarters is cleared
Cleaning the aisles............
Taylor pondered in his heart for a moment, the walkway west of the apprentice's quarters, he was quite familiar with it, after all, that walkway led directly to the dock, and they came by that road.
Now that he knew the place, Taylor turned around and walked in the direction of the apprentice's dormitory, he still had to do the work, and he would go back to the dormitory to meditate and study early.
After receiving the necessary cleaning tools and two rags from the utility department, Taylor carried a small bucket and a broom, a mop and two rags in his arms to the west hallway of the dormitory.
Arriving in the hallway west of the dormitory, Taylor put down the bucket and other cleaning tools in his arms, first took the bucket to the side to fill it with water, and then soaked the mop in it.
He then picked up a broom and cleaned the dust and dust from the walkway, and the area he had to clean was the wide avenue in the middle of the west side of the dormitory and the sidewalks on both sides.
The nearby Wizard Tower, the Wizard Apprentice's Utility Quarter, the Wizard Apprentice Library, and more are all enchanted by powerful wizards that never fall into dust and do not need to be cleaned by them.
While Taylor was cleaning, some of the nearby railings, street lamps, and the east and south sideways were all cleaned by other miscellaneous apprentices, who he saw more than once with bitter faces, and sometimes even babbling as if complaining about something.
Although he was a little unhappy about the work, Taylor knew that it was also an equivalent exchange in the wizarding rules, and they had to pay for their own labor when they gained meditation methods, spell models, and knowledge.
What's more, there is one point a day.
Taylor concentrated, waving the broom in his hand, and little by little cleaned some of the dust from the cracks in the sidewalk, trying to clean the west walkway he was responsible for spotlessly.
When he was tired of cleaning, Taylor took out a clean rag and spread it on the steps, sat down, and rested while thinking about meditation.
"Meow Meow Meow ~~~~"
On a street lamp not far from Taylor, a six-eyed owl with six eyes and a cat-like lower body quietly watched everything near him.
Its six eyes each follow a direction, taking in everything it sees, and anyone who violates the rules of wizarding and disrupts the quiet order of the White Tower Alliance will be spotted by them.
The six-eyed owl is also a third-level apprentice-level lifeform created by the white wizards of the White Tower Alliance, although its strength cannot be said to be too strong, it is definitely enough to deal with a large group of apprentices.
But all the apprentices who have been in the White Tower Alliance for a while are reluctant to come into contact with this kind of stitching beast-like existence, maybe the official wizard can handle it with a single witchcraft when he sees them, but for their apprentices, these guys are more terrifying than demons.
twilight
The sun slowly set from the west, Taylor also finished today's day's work, the west walkway is not only long, but also frighteningly wide, some of the dust in it has been cleaned by him to the slightest, after cleaning, he sat on the steps and waited silently for a while. Sure enough, a six-eyed owl appeared on the street lamp behind him, and after examining the fruits of Taylor's labor, the six-eyed owl nodded and flapped its wings and flew away.
Looking at the six-eyed owl flying away from here, Taylor couldn't help but think in his heart:
It seems that this is the inspector on the bulletin board, and I really don't know how such a complex life was created.
Come to think of it, Taylor wouldn't be spending all this precious time on something meaningless right now.
He hurried back to his dormitory, while repeatedly thinking about some tips and points in the meditation method in his mind, trying to open up the mental space as soon as possible and quickly construct his own witchcraft model.
There were also many new miscellaneous apprentices around him, but unlike too many, they talked and laughed, and even whispered about the tasks assigned to them by the wizards, which were pure coolies and not suitable for them to do, etc.
In fact, Taylor's progress is already the fastest progress among these new miscellaneous apprentices at the same level, although the other miscellaneous apprentices also try to meditate, but their age is too young to control the distractions in their hearts well, and they are more likely to be cranky than Taylor, Taylor can still control his thinking, but a large part of those children can't contain it.
For the next few days, Taylor's life consisted of cleaning the western aisles during the day and meditating at night and trying to open up his mental space.
Finally, on the fourth day, Taylor finally succeeded in opening up his mental space.
When opening the mental space, Taylor only felt that his head was suddenly about to explode, but he also felt a kind of restraining force, and there was a space like a corner of the frame, and there was a flowing power in the corner of the box, an invisible existence similar to something that could be controlled with the mind but felt very vague.
He now felt that a space had opened up in his head, and what was free in it was his spiritual power, and he was going to mobilize his spiritual power now and fill it according to the secondary fireball witchcraft model that had already appeared in the form of a phantom in the mental space.
It's just that now in the middle of his mental space, there is a small blue and white dot floating, and when his spiritual power touches this small dot, a message is fed back to Taylor.
