Chapter 36: Unknown Aid
Leonard took Dunn and Daly through the spirit realm to the side of the secret puppet "Admiral of Hell".
In order to hide behind the scenes, Klein even handed over the "wriggling hunger" to Leonard, just so that he could arrive at the critical moment!
When Ince Zangwill recovered from the chaos, he found that his greatest reliance had left him, and the evil spirit of the "Red Angel" swaggered away from the scene, not even forgetting to make a "neck-wiping" gesture at him.
And the next moment, his enemies had already ushered in helpers.
Ince quickly stepped aside to avoid being surrounded by two people, and he had a new guess about the source of the previous burst of lightless power.
"Doom"? Has He been watching all this?
Ince gritted his teeth, and he watched as Leonard Mitchell and Dunn Smith stood across from each other, their faces clear and distinct, with an air of life.
A shadow haunted by the dead haunted him, gnawing at Ince's sanity.
The "janitor" should not have been afraid of the dead, and the dead will drag them along.
Although Klein was still hidden in the shadows, he could see the general situation through the unaffected vision of the "Hell Admiral", but he had a hard time believing his eyes.
And that evil spirit just left? Why is Esther here?
Wait, she's gone......
Klein's eyes widened slowly, and he was vaguely aware of the disobedience.
The moment Leonard saw Ince, he had already let go of Daly and Dunn, and he had already rushed out to the side in a flash.
While distancing himself from Dunn, Leonard gripped the "Stowler" charm in his pocket:
"Fate!"
The "wriggling hunger" on his left palm changed shape, the glove became illusory and translucent, and the palm condensed into half of the slowly turning transparent book.
In the ethereal voice of "I came, I saw, I recorded", the dazzling silver-white lightning poured out one after another, and the "lightning storm" engulfed the young man's figure in the blink of an eye.
However, the spell that was activated at the same time was to exchange the fate of destruction for Ince Zangwill!
Leonard didn't care what happened to him, and he didn't intend to give Ince any chance to delay in the first place!
However, Dunn's shout suddenly rang out: "Leonard! It's a dream! β
All the lightning broke away, nothing happened, and Leonard even stood still, between Dunn and Daly.
The difference in personality makes it difficult for the three to form an effective counterattack, but it does not mean that they are helpless against it.
Dunn took a deep breath, the dream realm was originally the realm of the "sleepless", and his low, magnetic voice spread, unexpectedly evoking a soft echo in the air:
"My my night is idle, we sweep the place, all the things that break free ......"*
The unreality of the dream became intense, and the misfortune brought by "bad luck" to Ince continued, and at the level of his demigod, he should not be so easily shaken by the other party and fall into a wide range of dreams.
Under Ince's eyes, the lightless darkness still drifted, trying to drag the men into a deeper, separate nightmare, to scatter them.
Dunn's voice continued: "You also take your darkness off and put it into my eyes, half roaming......"
Another invisible traction stabilized the figures of Dali and Leonard beside him, so that they would not fall into Ince's schemes.
Ince's eyes became fierce, and he grasped the quill and quickly began to write on his scorched robes.
Dunn's calm, deep eyes revealed a darkness with a hint of light: "It will also hear every dim, irrefutable echo from every direction." β
The soft light under his eyes slid like a meteor and fell between the ink.
The remnants of the blessing were lit at the moment when he really needed it, like a match being struck.
Dunn pried a flaw that could not have existed, a very small probability, but it also became real.
The dream was violently turbulent, and they were only close to completely detached, and Leonard could even feel his control over his real body, his palm slowly touching the charm in his pocket.
However, the classical quill did not break free from Ince's grasp, but cooperated with his movements, leaving a few lines of handwriting:
"Ince Zangwill is in very good shape today, and he can effectively control his mythical creature form, so he has decided to make no reservations and do his best to get out of here!"
The moment the last exclamation point was clicked, Ince's body changed.
His garment swelled until it was torn by the limbs that had been born in the blink of an eye, and from the flanks and sides of Ince Zangwill's waist and under the ribs, four arms with no skin and only black veins were entangled, and white feathers had grown on them, exuding a cold aura of dead silence.
His dark blue eyes were completely soaked in ink, and distorted mystical symbols squirmed and spread from within, crawling along his eye sockets all over his cheeks.
Short black fur covered his neck, obscuring the black symbols that spread all over his body, and his entire body swelled up, lying on his hands and feet on the ground.
Ince Zangwill let out an instinctive roar, revealing his sharp, elongated teeth, revealing the blurred faces within, sealed and driven spirits.
"Night" and "Death" combine to form a monster with wolf hair and feathers, and while the mythical form is revealed, the breath of death begins with Ince's body and spreads to the vicinity.
All the tiny creatures in the square are falling, quietly robbed of life by death.
Daly, Dunn, and Leonard's bodies lose control again, and they are shrouded in darkness and sink into the dream again, where they will soon be killed.
Even if Dunn once again brought the trio out of the dream, once looking directly at Ince's mythical creature form, it would be enough to break their will.
Ince's consciousness swirled on the edge of madness, and even just revenge on the worms made his heart light.
However, white lightning rained down like a torrent of lightning, enveloping Ince's location.
Secret puppets do not sleep or die, and the moment the dream was disturbed by Dunn, Crane had already broken away from it.
He immediately manipulated the puppet to pray to him, and then quickly took four steps backwards to ascend the gray mist.
Holding the Poseidon Scepter again, merging into the "Tyrant" card, Crane, wearing a triple crown and wearing a papal robe, lit the light point of the secret couple's prayer, and let the silver-white lightning fall without stopping.
He had already planned this series of actions, and in a head-to-head battle, Crane was not sure to remain in shape in front of the opponent's incomplete mythical form, Ince Zangwill was already a demigod, and Crane had to bet all his hole cards.
The force of the thunderstorm shattered the hazy dream, and the three "red gloves" on the other side finally woke up completely.
After Dunn fully recovered, a strong sense of crisis made him close his eyes for the first time, and his next action was to cover Dai Li's eyes: "Mythical creature form, avoid." β
Of course, Leonard heard it, but before he could close his eyes, a figure in a white dress had already appeared in front of him, attracting Leonard's attention.
She emerged from the void like that, pale eyes looking back at Leonard, a face that seemed familiar, but not in his memory.
The lady in front of him spread her palm at Leonard: "Spell." β
Leonard subconsciously grasped the "stower" spell even tighter: "You areβ"
Before he could finish his sentence, the lady's hand was already closed, and Leonard only felt that the thing between his fingers was empty, and the spell made with the time worm had fallen into the other person's hand.
"Wait!"
Leonard's shout caused Dunn to raise his eyes slightly, his gaze sweeping over the unfamiliar face and the light in her eyes.
He could assert that he had seen such a light before, when death was close to his heart and banished his life.
She looked familiar.
Not far away, lightning followed its target, trying to tear the half-human, half-beast figure apart, and the darkness stirred up in Ince, like a pool of scattered ink, drowning the vast expanse of silver-white lightning that approached him.
Ace seized the opportunity and sprang out to escape the area baptized by the thunderstorm, but he couldn't lock on to the man who attacked him, so he could only quickly turn to the edge of the square, trying to escape from it directly.
Ince has not forgotten that there is a greater threat nearby, and that the real target of the "Fantasy Angel" is still in his hands.
The classical quill was held in Ince's hand, and he ran wildly as he wrote on his body:
"An unknown being was attracted by the battle and was very sympathetic to what happened to Ince Zangwill, and decided to help him and leave the spirit world with him!"
The sun was covered in shadows, and a gloomy chill permeated the square, falling on everyone present.
The breath of death.
Daly's body was trembling, and Dunn could barely feel his heartbeat.
And Leonard still looked at the lady who had snatched the "stealer" charm, as if some distant memories were scattered beyond his thoughts.
Behind Ince, the strange figure had been sketched, the blood-colored flesh was constantly agitating, covered with eyes that were constantly rolling up and down, and multiple arms that were not in harmony with each other, and those arms were not the same size as the race.
The monster, which was completely condensed by the splicing of broken limbs, had stretched out a long claw with feathers, and was about to fall on Ince's body, leading him into the spirit realm and leaving.
The lady in front of Leonard turned to face Ince Zangwill, who held the charm in her palm with a prayerful gesture.
Her gentle voice fell with her head, in the ancient Hermetic language: "Fate." β
Her voice was so faint and soft that Leonard thought that the spell would not be activated at all.
However, a black wheel had already unfolded from the sole of the lady's feet, and at the same moment, another silver wheel appeared out of thin air, and the strange flesh monster.
The round wheel rotates, and the black and white are easy to color.
The monster shook its arm in the air a few times, and its figure became illusory again, disappearing into the gap in the spirit world without resistance.
She exchanged the fate of "returning to the spirit world".
