Chapter 386: Three Views Are Broken (Asking for a Monthly Pass)
Two blocks away near his destination, Jack turns off his sirens and lights to avoid causing unnecessary trouble.
Stop outside a yellow-painted house that, according to Garcia, was the former home of Michael Genesco, where his ex-wife and son still live, but there was no place for him.
Jack and Hodgner got out of the car, and the latter pulled out his pistol, holding it in both hands and placing it at his side with the muzzle facing down.
He didn't speak, just glanced at Jack, and then stood guard at the door with a gun.
Jack also pulled out Glock, raised his senses, and checked around the yellow house to see that everything was normal, before putting away his gun and returning to the door to shake his head at Hodchiner.
Hodgner also put away his gun and knocked on the door, and it was a white woman with exquisite makeup who came out to open the door, and it was difficult to associate her with the mother of a 14-year-old child if he hadn't seen the information sent by Garcia.
"Andia White? FBIγ As Hodgner spoke, he showed his FBI credentials.
"Huh? Yes, what's the matter with you? Seeing the documents of the two, Andia White looked very surprised.
"I'm Jack Tawoller, and this is Aaron Hodchner, and we'd like to get you to know Michael Jenasco."
Jack said directly, "Can we go in?" β
"Ah, okay, please come in, I'll pour you a cup of tea." Andrea White hurriedly stepped out of the way and invited the two into the room.
"No, Ms. White, we're just asking a few questions." Hodgner said as he walked into the living room, his eyes swept over the family photos on the wall, and then quietly touched Jack's shoulder.
Jack had just confirmed that there was no one else in the house and returned his perception to normal.
Receiving Hodgner's hints, he took a closer look at the rather warmly furnished living room in front of him, and after looking at the photos and frames plastered on the fireplace, he found some clues.
These family photos include both old and new, from a former family of three to a party with friends.
But what's interesting is that no matter how old the two children in the photo are, there is one person who is consistent throughout, and that is Doug Summers, the owner of the scrapyard.
Jack was speechless, already leading to guessing what was going on.
"I don't quite understand why you FBIs are here to find Mike, we're divorced and he's moved out for a while."
Andrea White apparently didn't know what was going on, and although she was a little upset about the two F.B.I. visits, she wasn't very nervous.
"We need to find him as soon as possible, do you know where he has lived lately?" Hodgner's style is one that doesn't talk nonsense and goes straight to the point.
"Uh, yes, he works at a bar on Second Street, and the owner of the bar went back east to let him live in the attic above the bar for the time being.
Excuse me, what's wrong with him? β
Jack on the side directly took out his mobile phone, sent the address to Rossi and the others who were waiting for news at the police station, and told them to bring more police officers.
Meanwhile, the conversation between Hodchner and Andia White continues.
"Michael Genesco is now a suspect in a homicide." Hodgner didn't say much, except to mention the case that had just happened.
"Mike? That's impossible! Andia White's face was full of disbelief, as if she had just discovered that the scientific name of her own orange cat was called the Elemental Eater.
"Ma'am, Doug Summers was killed this morning." Hodchner said the news as he looked her in the eye.
"What? What are you talking about? Nope."
Andrea White's expression went from surprise to disbelief, then to sadness, and finally to tears.
"Why is this happening? This should all be in the past. β
Jack put away his phone and didn't say anything to comfort him, and the two men stood like this, waiting until the woman's crying stopped before he spoke again.
"Can you tell us what it was about all this in the past? We think it was Michael Jenasco's experience during this time that triggered all this. Hodchner's words left Andrea White at a loss for a response, and just continued to sob.
Seeing that she was emotionally resistant and reluctant to speak, Jack simply opened his mouth directly, "Your son Henry, his biological father is actually Doug Summers, right?" β
After saying that, he pointed to the photos on the wall, "From the photos on the wall, you can see from the family records that you unconsciously displayed, at different stages of your son's growth.
He's in the same frame as your current fiancΓ©, Doug Summers, almost as often as your ex-husband, Michael Genesco.
This is not something that can be explained by long-term close family and friend relationships. β
"Woo woo" I don't know if it's the sadness of her lover's murder or the shame of being broken into her privacy, Andia White burst into tears, her delicate makeup was confused, and she couldn't say anything at all, just nodded desperately and admitted Jack's statement.
"So, how did they find out about all this?" Unmoved, Hodchner asked.
Andrea White choked up for a long time before sobbing and answering, "Two months ago, in the custody trial in Family Court, Doug confessed everything on the witness stand. β
Then she broke down and cried.
"It shouldn't be like this, Mike and Doug grew up together, they've always been best friends, I thought he had let it go, woo woo
Mike is a good guy, he doesn't even want to hurt a squirrel, I don't believe that, he can't do such a thing. β
Jack was speechless and replied perfunctorily, "Maybe he used to be a good man." β
"So, is your son Henry still in school?"
Andrea White's crying stopped abruptly, and she looked at the two of them with a frightened face, "I don't know, it's usually Doug who picks him up, you mean Mike will"
"We're just guessing that the police were now on their way to the school before we came." Before Jack's voice fell, Hodchner's mobile phone rang twice, and he received a message,
"Sheriff White said the officers he sent did not find Henry at the school and that his father was seen picking him up." Hodgner frowned and read out the message.
"Oh no, my God." Andrea White let out a desperate wail.
"Ms. White, I suggest that you go to the local police station immediately, wait there, and there will be a relevant officer to meet you and then inform you of the latest police developments."
With that, Hodchner and Jack walked briskly out of the uncomfortable place.
"They drove Michael Genesco crazy."
Jack finally couldn't hold back, and beeped under his breath, and at the same time stepped on the gas pedal as if venting, and Saabban almost ejected into the ground, heading for Second Street.
