Chapter 580: The Legend of Hashihime
Hashihime's voice has changed to the same timbre as before, and her appearance is no longer the same murderous and inhumane look.
Seeing her kind side appear, I began to work on her and said, "Hashihime, you were just an ordinary woman in your life, with women's shortcomings and personalities. What woman doesn't want to be loved by the man she likes, but it's a pity, you don't know how to restrain yourself, and you don't blame it, you can only say that the Dongying people at that time were too male-oriented. I'm telling you now, only by living can you have a future, and if you have an afterlife, I want you to live for yourself. โ
Qiao Ji said, "Don't you Chinese have this trouble?" Isn't dignity important? โ
"It's not that dignity isn't important, it's just that you're mistaken. People have a future only when they live, don't think about suicide because of a little blow and setback, have the courage to die, why don't you have the courage to live to face the future! โ
After my enlightenment, Hashihime already understood, she nodded, and the white light turned into a little light and dissipated. I understand that this powerful monster knot has been completely opened by me, and it has been feathered away.
Seriously, whether I can do the work of Tongqiao Ji, I don't know the bottom in my heart, saying that it is a god, but in fact, it is just some undead. It's just that living in one place for a long time has the power of mana, so that people spread falsehoods, and if they spread more, some people will believe it.
Now, I defeated Hashihime and calmly left the enchantment, and sure enough, I lived up to expectations, and I was able to pass the third level. "The Art of War: Attacking Chapters": "The first army is to attack and strategize, the second is to attack the enemy, the second is to attack the army, and then the next is to attack the city; The siege of the city is a last resort. "But, if you can do without violence, you don't need violence, although, fighting against monsters like enemies is inevitably solved by violence. However, today, I was able to resolve the duel with great skill, and I have to say that this is the most successful time I have ever exorcised demons.
In fact, the legend of Hashihime is far more than that, because she has been entrenched in the Ujigawa area for too long, and there are people who spread her story. The most divine is Ujihashi Hime.
Since ancient times, the Japanese have believed that every bridge is guarded by a goddess, and among the many legends related to the bridge, Ujibashi Hime is the most famous, and whenever Hashihime is mentioned, it usually refers to the goddess Ujibashi. Built in 646, Uji Bridge is the oldest surviving bridge in Japan. The wooden bridge in the Ujigawa area, which is the place where the Yokai Hashihime guards, is the most famous because it is notorious. Whenever a flowery man passes, Hashihime will seduce the other party with his beauty, but all the men who are confused and want to follow him, without exception, are all taken into the river by him and drowned.
According to the Japanese Tales of the Romance of the Meiji Demon, it is said that in the distant era of the gods, Ujihashihime and the Riknomiya Hachimanjin were lovers, and the Hachimangami came to see Hashihime every night along the Yodogawa, Sedagawa, and Uji rivers. Rikyu Hachimangu Shrine is a shrine built on the site of Emperor Saga's Imperial Palace in the early Heian period, located in Oyamazaki, Kyoto Prefecture. In the beginning, both of them were just close to the gods, and they both had a crush on each other for a long time, thinking that they would always be together to achieve Japan's Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai.
It is also because of the fact that in Japan at that time, the form of marriage was to visit the wife, and the man usually went to the woman's house to spend the night after the sun went down, and left at 10 o'clock the next day, so it was thought that the marriage form of the gods was probably the same. In fact, it is just a form of special marriage between men and women in the local area, to put it simply, it is to go out early and return late. However, Ujihashihime and Riknomiya Hachiman God were transformed by the legendary spirits, so it eventually evolved into the fact that the waves of the Uji River were the most turbulent at dawn every day, so even if they couldn't see their bodies, people knew that Hachiman God was going back. That is, when the river god left and returned, it caused a lot of tide surges.
However, even Hachimangajin, who is close to the gods, does not return to Ujigawa every night to protect his wife. Some local aristocrats or wealthy people can also visit the east and west after sunset, and there are inevitably some unsympathetic people. But Hashihime can only sit by the bridge, looking forward to the Hachiman God coming night and night, because she has regarded the Hachiman God as her all.
The beautiful Hashihime, who waited for her husband after sunset and her singing, became a popular local chatter, and gradually evolved into a variety of legends. Some people say that Qiao Ji is too infatuated to wait for her husband to return and drown, and then turn into a ghost; Some people say that because she misses her husband too much, she is moved by the true god of Hanoi and gives her strength; Some people also say that Hashihime's husband has changed his mind, and Hashihime has become a big monster that people talk about because of love and hatred.
The graceful goddess looked out into the distance on the river, which stimulated the imagination of many ancient singers, leaving behind many famous waka songs.
Murasaki Shikibu also knew the legend of Uji Hashihime, and wrote the sad love story of three women, including Hashihime and Ukifune, in the Uji Jujo in "The Tale of Genji". In the early and middle Heian period, the aristocracy often thought about the distress and longing of love, which was very similar to the people of the feudal period in China. Japanese aristocrats and scholars also pinned their hopes on waka or poetry, and sublimated it into a kind of beauty. Therefore, during this period, Hashihime was always an image of a sad and beautiful goddess who was waiting for her lover to come. Hashihime has become a symbol of Japanese culture.
At the end of the Heian period, Hashihime was no longer a goddess, but a common woman.
It is said that in the early days, there was a woman who guarded the bridge by the Uji Bridge, and people called her Hashihime. Hashihime also has a husband, and when she was pregnant, she had severe morning sickness and vomited whatever she ate. The husband couldn't look at it and said to Hashihime: What do you want to eat? Let's talk about it. I'll definitely try to find it.
Hashihime thought for a while and said, "I used to eat wakame from Ise, and I thought it was delicious at the time. If that's the case, I think I should be able to eat it.
Okay, I'll fetch it for you.
The husband immediately traveled to Ise, which is now Mie Prefecture in Japan. After a few days, he still did not return. Hashihime was very uneasy and also set off for Ise to look for her husband. She wandered along the coast, and as a result, the hazy figure of her beloved appeared in the waves. Water droplets all over the body, and the face is bloodless. The husband squirmed pale lips and recited a waka song: Satsuki ใใใใใซใใใ็่จญใใใใไปๅฎตใใใใใใใใๅพ ใพใคใใUji ใใใฎBridge ๅงซใฏใใฒใ.
Meaning: There is only one person's clothes on the straw mat, and he is still waiting for me tonight.
Hashihime was taken aback and wanted to run to her husband, but he disappeared. At this time, Hashihime realized that her husband accidentally fell into the sea and drowned in order to pick wakame from the coastal rocks. Hashihime can only return to Ujigawa in grief.
During the Heian period, men and women spent the night together, and they usually took off their clothes and spread them on the mat as bedding. At that time, Japan was also very poor and barren, and it was normal to not have enough food and clothing. The clothes used as bedding can be seen how hard life was for the Japanese people at that time. Katashiki is a cloth that only covers one person, indicating a solitary sleep.
The legendary Hashihime is not a goddess, nor is she a noble woman hiding in a curtain in The Tale of Genji, but a bridge keeper woman who is a commoner, and seems to live with her husband. And the husband picks wakame from a distance for the sake of his pregnant wife, which is also very common.
"The Tale of Genji" portrays the evil Hashihime as a beautiful, virtuous and infatuated woman, and his husband is not a merciless person, or even a good man who dares to take risks for the sake of his wife.
In the Middle Ages, when the law and order were not good, it was not uncommon for the husband to die in a foreign country, leaving behind a wife who was pregnant with Rokka, and waiting for her husband to return all night. During this period, Hashihime became the embodiment of evil.
It is said that a woman who was abandoned by her husband went to Kifune Shrine to pray to the gods for revenge on her husband's behalf. Then a priest told the woman, "Tie your hair into five horns, wear a three-legged iron ring on your head, light a fire with three feet, paint your face red, wear a red garment, and go to the south with a look of anger." In this posture, immerse yourself in the Uji River 3721 days, and you will be able to get your wish.
The woman really believed it, and sure enough, she did what the priest said, immersed herself in the water of the Uji River and prayed, and finally on the night of the full moon, she turned into a terrifying female ghost. After that, she killed her negative husband and her husband's new love as she wished. It is not difficult to understand that she was possessed by the evil Hashihime, people have two sides, and there are two sides to becoming a ghost after death, everyone in the world loves beautiful things and wants to protect them; They also hate abominable things, and want to destroy them.
At this time, Qiao Ji is no longer the woman who was obsessed with waiting for Lang Jun back then, but if you dare to abandon me, the old lady will give you a good look, this kind of terrifying big monster image.
It seems to me that at this time, it was the evil side of Hashihime that took over.
There is also a legend of a female ghost in Kyoto (ๆพๆกฅ, as the name suggests, a wooden bridge with a deep grudge, that is, the wooden bridge where Hashihime committed suicide). Due to the long history of the bridge, there are various legends, but the origin of the name of the bridge is as follows:
At the beginning of the Heian period, Dr. Sen Senate Sanzen Kiyoyuki, and when he passed away in a funeral procession, he happened to meet Kiyoyuki Yachio Jozo, who had been practicing in a foreign country and had returned from Kumano. After Jozo prayed wholeheartedly, Kiyoyuki woke up, and father and son were able to say their final goodbyes. Later, people called this bridge the bridge.
And the military general in the middle of the Heian period, Watanabe Tsunada, a retainer of the Minamoto Yorimitsu, happened to meet a beautiful woman when he passed by the bridge one day. Watanabe Tsunade accidentally looked at the river under the bridge, and found that the shadow reflected in the water was a female ghost, so he immediately pulled out the famous knife given by his master and cut off the female ghost's right arm. Yuan Laiguang stored his arm in the box, but in the future, he fell for the female ghost who turned into an old mother and deceived his arm back. I don't know if this story is about Hashihime, but most likely it's not Hashihime, but a rumor that one of his subordinates fought with a youkai when Minamoto Yorimitsu was crusading against the wine swallowing boy.
Time flies, and the rumors of Hashihime's story are becoming less and less clear, and the truth of the facts is drowned in the torrent of history. Today, there is a small Hashihime Shrine on the west side of the Uji Bridge in Japan, which is said to be the goddess of severing the relationship between men and women, and locals usually avoid passing in front of the shrine when they hold weddings. The shrine is enshrined in a female ghost statue with a naked upper body, a crimson hakama on the lower body, a snake wrapped around her left hand, and a fishing hook in her right hand. It seems that the Japanese have been deeply afraid of the rumors of Hashihime crossing the bridge to kill people......
After I came out, I sighed at the deep affection and bitterness of ancient women, love is a double-edged sword, the more you love, the more you hate, just like the Taiji diagram. The balance must be grasped so that there can be harmony.
The legend of Hashihime tells us that we can't be without scruples, and we must think more about each other.
I had a face-to-face with Su Crazy and Xu Chengcheng, and said, "I did it without a fight." Later, it's up to you. โ
The voice of the valley came again: "In the third level, Zhang Ruoxuan wins, then in the fourth level, I am a water chestnut, who is your representative?" โ
Su Crazy stood up and said, "It's time for me to play." With that, he stepped forward and walked into the enchantment again, and the enemy he faced was a fierce woman with a fleshy face, five big and three thick.
