410. Treatment of Moody
Dumbledore had actually arranged for Hagrid to lobby the giants, but unfortunately failed at a critical moment. A coup d'Γ©tat was staged within the Giants, with the new leader beheading off the old leader, and the new leader completely falling over to the Death Eaters.
The main reason was that Dumbledore did not agree with Dudley and Grindelwald's suggestion to take out the giants first.
Giants, werewolves, these dark creatures that can be said to be evil, there is no way to cut off their beards in advance, because it is useless to bind them with simple interests, many times they don't talk to you about interests, they just want to simply enjoy the feeling of killing and destruction.
For example, the werewolf leader Fenrir Greyback is simply bloodthirsty and wants more wizards to become werewolves like him. Another example is the giants, who want to hunt unscrupulously (eating ordinary people, who are essentially no different from trolls).
There is no way to negotiate with these two groups at all. And this is the easiest group of dark creatures that Voldemort has encircled.
The giants have low intelligence, but at least they can communicate, and the werewolves have a large part of them out of Greyback's control due to the restoration of the humanoid spell.
The hardest ones are the ones that remain, first of all, the Dementors, the first dark creatures to take refuge in Voldemort, and it is impossible for normal people to agree to the demands of the Dementor race, and only Voldemort would agree, they want to suck people's pleasure unfettered.
There's also the Humanoid Witch, a non-human creature that looks like an ugly-looking old witch who knows some basic magic but is at a lower level than wizards, and likes to eat human flesh just as much as giants, especially children's flesh.
I heard that the Banshees were also engulfed by the Death Eaters, and I wonder how Voldemort persuaded these guys and promised what benefits.
Then there's the Eight-Eyed Spider, which they joined with Dudley's permission.
Intriguingly, the vampires, who appear as villains in many of the works, did not join, and most of them hid to prevent retaliation from the Death Eaters.
Hogwarts - Headmaster's Office.
"Mr. Dursley, I heard Albus say you have something to ask me for?"
Professor Moody limped down in front of Dally on crutches, and then yelled at Dumbledore in the headmaster's seat: "Albus, now is the critical time to compete for the Minister of Magic, I have already contacted some old Aurors for you, just wait for the moment when the Minister of Magic is elected, we will definitely vote for you." β
He insisted that Dumbledore should become the Minister of Magic, and that only under Dumbledore's leadership could the Ministry of Magic fight Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
Apparently the old former Auror didn't know about Grindelwald's transformation into Fudge, and to be exact, only Mr. Weasley knew about it in the entire Order of the Phoenix.
In fact, according to Dumbledore's original idea, as long as they are members of the Order of the Phoenix, information should be exchanged, but this matter was strongly opposed by Dudley.
After all, there is a precedent for Peter Pettigrew, and unless you are completely trustworthy, how do you know that the other person will not be the next 'Worm Tail'? Don't forget, Peter was also one of the original patriarchs of the Order of the Phoenix.
However, it is not that Moody is untrustworthy so he does not tell him, but because there are more important things for him to deal with, and the more he knows, the more difficult it will become.
"Alasto, I think we should hear what Dudley has to say first."
Dumbledore interrupted Moody's chatter, he took a jar of candy out of nowhere, took out a bee candy from it, put it in his mouth and tasted it, and then handed it another one to Moody.
"Alright, Albus, alright."
Moody shook his head, he didn't take the candy, and since he had retired, he had never eaten food or water that was given to him, even if it was Dumbledore.
"So what's the matter with Mr. Dursley? The newfound black magic or the anti-curse, you're the hardest working of the most gifted wizards I've ever met. β
After all, he had taught Dudley for a while, so he was naturally familiar with him.
"Neither." Dudley shook his head, and instead of answering Moody, he looked at Moody and asked, "I heard that you have experienced countless battles in your life, large and small, and these injuries on your body are also left over from that time. β
Moody nodded, touched his prosthetic leg, and said with emotion: "Yes, including this leg and this eye, it was a very brutal battle, and I almost couldn't come back." β
The tone was slightly ostentatious, as if these scars on his body were his medal of honor.
Although this is indeed the case.
With the level of medical care in the wizarding world, it only takes one night to grow a bone in an arm from scratch, and the whole process is just a little painful, not to mention a skin trauma such as a broken leg?
Well. A broken leg and a broken hand are indeed skin wounds in the wizarding world.
Moody's scars are not that he doesn't treat them, but they can't be healed, otherwise he can become a normal person, who wants to wear a cane all day long, who wants to wear a prosthetic eye?
Most of the reasons why it cannot be cured are because of a curse, and the injuries caused by the curse are as difficult to heal as the curse. Just like the Weasley brothers, who had their ears cut off by the Shadowless Spell in the original books, Mrs. Weasley couldn't get his ears back on him despite her best efforts, because the normal healing spell would not work without knowing the counter-spell.
The same goes for Moody's injuries.
Dudley continued: "I have a presumptuous question for you. β
"What?"
Moody asked, and at this point he also realized that Dudley's problem should be related to his own injuries.
"If you can, you. Do you want to heal your injuries? β

Although there was some speculation, but I didn't expect it to be this, Moody's expression looked a little surprised.
He soon came up with the identity of Darrow, in addition to being a student, a potions master whom Snape had admired.
After thinking for a moment, he shook his head again and politely refused.
"Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Dursley."
While suffering from the pain of these injuries, he did not seek the help of therapists, and the results obtained were incurable.
Over time, you get used to it.
I can't find a corresponding curse, and I can't do it at all.
Even a master of magic like Snape.
This is the rule of the wizarding world, unless you can find an antidote to a curse in the form of a potion, but that difficulty is no less than finding a counterspell.
In Moody's opinion, Dudley would say that it belongs to newborn calves and is not afraid of tigers.
Dudley saw what Moody was thinking, so he pulled a potion out of his pocket and handed it to the other party.
"Professor Moody, you can try it first."
