Chapter Three: A Corner of the War (Part I)

After thinking about it for a while, Bing Shijue slowly floated towards the place where the minced meat was flying. Indeed, as he imagined, this should be the edge of the battlefield, or the place where the first outbreak began.

But there isn't much evidence for this, and there's no water or wind in space, so there's no way to tell how many years have passed. Moreover, Bing Shijue has never really seen what a war of a level 3 civilization looks like. Maybe it's just the aftermath of a missile explosion, or maybe it's the result of sending robots to harvest wildly.

But what is certain is that as Bing Shijue gets closer and closer to the place where the minced meat is dense, the number of insect swarms he can perceive will increase. These swarms were no longer two or three, but clearly organized and disciplined squads.

Hidden in the flesh and blood, Bing Shijue could see that the insects at the front of the swarm team were obviously the most ferocious, and the wings behind them were also very large, and they could easily fly very long distances after being deployed. It's just not clear why these bugs are able to live in a vacuum.

After a brief observation, Bing Shijue also roughly knew what the insect swarm was doing now.

They were cleaning up the battlefield.

First, the front bug searches for the location of the large piece of meat, and then sends out specific radio waves from the organs in the body to inform the rear of the bug's whereabouts.

Then the bugs in front of you will hover in the air and start patrolling. The insects flying in the middle move slowly, but once they land on the pieces of meat, they will directly split a huge hole in their abdomen, wrapping all the pieces of meat directly and stuffing them into their bodies, as if they are collecting something.

During this time, the huge team will also disintegrate into two parts, three worms with huge wings flying in the air, and the other bugs will quickly devour the fleshy "little planet" into the abdomen. This process only takes about a few dozen minutes, and a meat ball estimated at five or six hundred cubic meters can be directly devoured.

Eventually, three giant winged bugs land precisely in the front, center, and back of these swollen bellies, and begin to escort them on their journey, apparently completing a collection job.

In addition to these obviously disciplined bugs, Bing Shijue could also see a large number of bugs like headless flies, that is, the bugs he had killed before. The bugs were noticeably a little smaller, but half the size of themselves. They apparently have no mind of their own, and are simply looking for pieces of meat to eat.

Occasionally, these bugs will fight each other, but these scattered bugs obviously don't know what unity is, and will be accurately bitten by three bugs with their heads, abdomen, and wings, and finally become the nourishment of these flying bugs.

"If it were me, I could theoretically defeat these three flying insects." After Bing Shijue's divine thoughts swept over, he was sure that there was nothing resembling a heart in the bodies of these flying insects. Their bodies can be said to be completely inconsistent with previous scientific understanding, just like countless cotton wool, countless grid-like things.

"But my energy may be scarce, and I should go inward." Although Bing Shijue's current divine thoughts are very broad, he does not dare to probe them wantonly. Because there are more and more bugs around. Anywhere you go, with the naked eye, you can see four or five squads collecting pieces of meat.

It's okay to see it, but you can't see too far.

The pieces of meat here are too fine, and Bing Shijue needs to find a suitable place to dodge, so he can only turn back from time to time to judge where he is going through the huge stargate.

"It's troublesome to face bugs...... In the face of humans, I can still use my divine thoughts to create illusions, but not the Zerg. "No matter how Bing Shijue investigated, he was sure that the insect did not have its own brain at all. In other words, those fine network structures may contain something similar to the brain.

At least I don't know about myself now.

"Now there are more and more bugs, and if you go down, you will be discovered." Bing Shijue is now basically advancing in the way of exploding his divine thoughts. Lurking in some small rubble, and then going straight to near the speed of light, there is no sound in space anyway, and it is buried directly in a piece of flesh that has not been excavated by bugs.

But nowadays, the density of insects is beyond imagination, and almost every piece of meat can be determined that if you can hear the sound in space at this time, you will definitely hear the crusting of insects, the sound of chewing meat pieces, or the buzzing sound of flapping wings and flying.

But because of this, Bing Shijue had to be more careful.

"Let's get out of here first, then observe the direction where the swarm is coming, and then see if there are dwarven planets." Bing Shijue recalled the explanation that Han Chaosheng had given him before, the dwarf planet was very easy to find, because in order to forge it, they directly cast a planet comparable to a star out of metal.

So just go and explore the size of an ordinary star around the stargate, but the point of light is sparse on the surface of the planet, which is where the dwarves exist.

Thinking of this, Bing Shijue adjusted his state and made sure that he could replenish his energy in the flow of gases and particles that filled the universe everywhere, so he took a deep breath and erupted directly from the rubble, breaking through the area of flesh and rubble in one fell swoop.

Just when Bing Shijue wanted to scan with his divine thoughts, all these scenes in front of him completely shocked him.

In front of him was not the imaginary sea of Zerg army, nor was it the planet where the dwarves were.

What he saw was an unusually blinding glow from about a few thousand stars.

It's as if someone is in a dark room and lights up thousands of light bulbs in an instant.

It's like someone on the earth who can see thousands of suns twinkling together.

Bing Shijue was shocked by the starry scene, and it took him a long time to observe that around these bright stars, there were balls of flesh the size of glass beads, slowly expanding and breathing.

But this kind of small meat ball, in fact, just looks small because of the distance, Bing Shijue simply estimated, these meat balls are basically not much different from the earth.

"Terrible Zerg ......" Bing Shijue's admiration for the stars in his heart quickly turned into worry about the Zerg, and with such a simple sweep, he could see that the edges of thousands of stars were filled with those meat balls, and the number of meat balls was basically counted in 100,000.

It is equivalent to more than 100,000 flesh and blood planets the size of the earth, filled with space like this.

It's really hard to know how to deal with it.

"So, is this a level 3 civilization......" Bing Shijue worked hard to engrave the power of level 3 civilization in his mind, and compared it with his original concept. Because it is already such a difficult thing for human beings to get out of the earth, it is difficult for Bing Shijue to imagine what it would be like for thousands of stars to gather and then hundreds of thousands of flesh and blood planets exist.

"Perhaps, the Milky Way, for a level 3 civilization, is like we are on Earth." Bing Shijue can only find such an analogy, on the earth, although it takes time for people to build houses, but half a year and a year can indeed cover half of the road. Half a road is less visible to the city, and more so to the planet.

Obviously, the same is true of the appearance of the Zerg around these stars.

"What are they doing...... Bing Shijue is glad that he is just an individual, and he is so inconspicuous on the scale of a planet, not to mention that under the bright light of thousands of stars, almost no one will pay attention to him.

"Preparation before the war, cultivation after the war?" Bing Shijue didn't know, the only thing he understood now was what those minced flesh were, and it was no wonder that these flesh and blood would directly cover the sky and the sun. Because this is what it looks like a piece of flesh the size of the entire earth is shattered apart.

"But here, there is obviously no dwarf on the planet, have the dwarves been destroyed?" Bing Shijue looked around, and could probably see dozens of stars within his line of sight, but these stars were surrounded by flesh and blood planets, not the steel planets he imagined.

Just as Bing Shijue was looking around, the disc in his mind suddenly vibrate, and such a change made Bing Shijue directly take out the disc, hold it in his hand, and look at it carefully.

The pattern on the disc is actually the same as what I saw in the underground before, and the three races are divided into three areas. This is used to identify the holder and to make it easier to distinguish who the sender of the message is.

This time, the light representing the dwarf also began to light up in a third of the way.
