Toyotomi Hideyoshi's ambitions

In the second half of the 16th century, Toyotomi Hideyoshi relied on bushido to unify all of Japan. There is no real ability, absolutely not, how many big families who stand up for martial arts have to be killed, how many samurai feudal lords have to be eliminated, and how many assassins with excellent martial arts from the outside and inside have to be guarded against...... This is definitely not the nonsense of Chinese martial arts novels, but what really happened. Toyotomi Hideyoshi's mentor and superior, Oda Nobunaga, was murdered by assassins sent by his retainers during his travels. Tokugawa Ieyasu, who succeeded Toyotomi Hideyoshi, was able to dominate Japan only after killing his mentor, the descendants of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi's face was gloomy, and he was not angry and arrogant. He was also famous in ancient China, and there are as many as forty or fifty Chinese folk notes about him. He was described by Chinese folk as a kind of evil dragon Jiao detached from the hero, and was finally killed by the Chinese Taoist Xu Zhenjun with divine skills.

The emperor was subservient to him and at his mercy. He is a generation of heroes who have been influenced by the atmosphere of contempt for China after the Meng Yuan, and the world in Japan has not yet been decided, and he is still ranked after the samurai leader Oda Nobunaga, and he said, "Picture Korea, peep into China, this is the prime ambition of the minister." Later, when he met with the deputy governor of the Jesuit Society of Japan in Osaka, Ke Ailiu, he said: "Now that I have conquered all of Japan, my status has been promoted, I have a leading country, and I have abundant wealth, and I have nothing else to ask for." but hope that his fame and power will be left to posterity. After Japan's affairs are stabilized, he will let Japan's brother Yu (Hidenaga Hashiba) decide to cross the sea in order to conquer Korea and China. ”

This plot reveals two very interesting messages: one is that in the sixteenth century, Japan already had a national Christian organization, which shows that their acceptance of Western culture and the integration of excellent culture were much faster and more effective than ours, and at this time, the Western cultural envoys in our country were still forced to huddle in the palace, trying to serve only the royal family and the nobility; The other is that Toyotomi Hideyoshi expressed the idea of Japanese expansion. He can be said to be the first true advocate and practitioner of Japan's attempt to dominate Korea and then invade China. Later Japanese warlords all adhered to his strategy and followed his line of thought. For example, in the 20th century, the Japanese warlords first sought Korea, then occupied Northeast China, then entered Jiangnan, and then invaded India, and then invaded India to dominate Asia.

This Toyotomi Hideyoshi was a man of undisguised ambition, and in a letter to his concubine Asano, he said: "In the year of my existence, I vow to include the territory of Tang (Ming) in my territory. ”

For thousands of years, Korea was indeed the barrier to the east of China, and Toyotomi Hideyoshi must first engage in Korea to invade China, and in 1590 he wrote a letter to the king of Korea, saying that he wanted to falsely go to Korea: "I want to pretend to be your country, beyond the mountains and seas, and go straight to the Ming Dynasty, so that its four hundred states can be transformed into our customs, and the king will govern in hundreds of millions of years, which is my destiny." This request was of course rejected by Korea, which was a vassal state of the Ming Empire at the time.

In the second year, Toyotomi Hideyoshi gave up the official position of commanding the whole of Japan (Sekihaku) to his adopted son Toyotomi Hideji, calling himself "Taiko", specializing in military preparations for the invasion of China. After the army was fully prepared, he announced the preparation order for moving the capital to Beijing like a snake: "Emperor Feng was in Kyoto (Beijing) of the Tang Dynasty (Ming), and in the next year of the Ming Dynasty, he could fortunately make the ten countries (counties) near the capital (Beijing) available for the imperial use of the Holy Emperor (Emperor)", "The surrounding hundred countries (counties) Wu'er (adopted son) possessed", and he was ready to give up the Japanese mainland and hand it over to others to rule. I specialize in enjoying happiness in China. Soon after, he announced that he would "cross the sea by Japanese ship and live in Ningbo Mansion", because Ningbo Mansion was "close to Tianzhu" (India) in order to "respect the holy will and occupy Tianzhu".

A beautiful picture of Japan's domination of Asia was created by Toyotomi Hideyoshi 500 years ago.
