Chapter 369: County Order
During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, a new magistrate came to Huayin, surnamed Zhang. This day was the day when Zhang Zhixian went to work, and the county prince led a group of officials early and waited outside the county office to greet him.
Seeing the sun rising in the sky, everyone saw a donkey rider coming leisurely. The man sitting on the donkey was in his fifties, dressed in a cloth shirt, like an old man in the countryside. He squinted his eyes and looked very funny on the back of the donkey.
I saw the accompanying servant come forward, give a salute, and ask, "Is this the Huayin County Ya?" The king nodded, and the servant turned to the man on the donkey and said, "My lord, we have arrived." The man opened his eyes and said, "Ah, so fast? So saying, he took out a piece of paper from his bag and gave it to his servant, who in turn turned it on to the king.
Wang Quan saw that this old man was the new county commander Zhang Yi, so he hurriedly led people forward to welcome, Zhang Yi got down from the donkey's back, and said: "Let's not talk about polite words, Zhang has been on the road for a long time in order to go to the post, and he is already so hungry that his chest is close to his back, I don't know if there is anything to eat?" ”
When Wang Quan heard this, he hurriedly said that the banquet had already been prepared. Who knew that Zhang Yi waved his hand and said that he would not eat the banquet, just get something casually, and just be full.
The new official does not eat the reception banquet when he takes office, but only eats a light meal, and it is the first time that Wang Quan has been a county prince for many years. After the meal, Zhang Yi asked Wang Quan what local specialties there were.
Wang Quan is a local, so he proudly introduced, saying that the territory here is vast, the land is fertile, and the flow rate of the Yellow River slows down here, forming a natural harbor, so the carp here is not only big, but also the meat is fresh and tender, and the soup boiled out of it tastes mellow, and the taste is particularly delicious, which can be called a must in the world.
Seeing that Zhang Yi was interested, Wang Quan was busy ordering people to go fishing and make soup. After a while, the Yellow River carp soup was made, Zhang Yi ate a mouthful of fish meat, and drank a mouthful of soup, which really had a unique flavor.
Seeing this, Wang Quan flattered and said, "My lord, it tastes good, right?" Don't hide it from adults, this Yellow River carp soup is the signature dish of local restaurants, and there is no guest who has eaten it without praise. ”
After hearing this, Zhang Yi slapped his chopsticks on the table and said: "Pass on my order, from now on, it is forbidden to catch carp in the Yellow River, and anyone who has fishing to entertain guests will be punished with a felony." Wang Quan was shocked and asked, "My lord, why is this?" Zhang Yi said with a calm face: "Why? Don't you know? Wang Quan boldly said: "My lord, the villain really doesn't know. ”
Zhang Yi sneered: "You don't know, what else do you want to do in this county?" ”
When Wang Quan heard this, he immediately fell to his knees in fright, and said, "My lord, the villain understands, I will go and pass the order to prohibit fishing." Then he got up, took three steps and ran out.
A few days later, Wang Quan accompanied Zhang Yi to inspect the people's situation and came to an apricot forest.
At this time, it is the apricot ripening season, and the branches are yellow and clear, and they are full of apricots the size of children's fists, which is very gratifying. Not to mention eating, taking a look at it, it is also full of mouthful.
Wang Quan said that the apricots produced here are big and sweet, and the apricots from other places are not comparable. Wang Quan asked people to pick a few, Zhang Yi took a bite, and suddenly felt that the taste was sweet and full of fragrance.
After eating the apricots, Zhang Yi looked at the apricot forest, and couldn't help shaking his head and sighing: "It's a pity, it's a pity......" Wang Quan didn't understand what it meant, but because of his experience last time, he didn't dare to ask.
After a while, Zhang Yi spoke, saying that it was such a large piece of fertile land, which would be planted into crops, and he didn't know how many people could be fed, and then he asked the royal power to cut down all the apricot trees and plant crops.
Although Wang Quan was very angry, he did not dare to say anything. This county magistrate is too strange, he must have some disease, otherwise why don't he like good things? Wang Quan wanted to try it to see if there was anything wrong with this county order, so he told him: There is a local river that produces a kind of small river shrimp, which is not much bigger than soybeans.
When the people catch small river shrimp, they pickle them with vinegar, commonly known as "vinegar shrimp", which is a good condiment for eating and drinking. Sure enough, Zhang Yiyi became interested when he heard it.
In fact, this kind of river shrimp is small, has little meat, tastes very bad, and cannot be served on the table, and is a dish of poor people. Wealthy families or people with a little status don't bother to eat this kind of stuff at all.
Wang Quan brought vinegar shrimp and let Zhang Yi taste it. Zhang Yi took a bite, and the taste was okay at first, but the more he chewed, the more tasteless it became. Looking at Zhang Yi's slowly frowning brows, Wang Quan's heart hung in the air.
Unexpectedly, Zhang Yi put down his chopsticks and even claimed "good", and asked the king to prepare more for future guests.
When Wang Quan heard this, he wiped the sweat on his forehead with his hand, and muttered in his heart: "It's over, this county order really has quirks, likes and dislikes ......" Gradually, the local people also knew Zhang Yi's quirks, and they called him "weird old man" behind his back.
In the second year, Qin sent an inspection to Huayin, and Zhang Yi inevitably had to entertain him. At the banquet, Zhang Yi specially recommended "vinegar shrimp" to Qincha, and Qincha put down his chopsticks without eating a few bites.
Before leaving, Qin Cha saw a cart with large bags and small bags. Zhang Yi flattered and said that they were all local specialties, mostly "vinegar shrimp", and they were specially given to Qincha. Unexpectedly, Chin Cha waved his hand, ordered him to get out of the car, and said, "Enjoy it yourself." ”
After sending Qin Cha away, Wang Quan glared at Zhang Yi and said in his heart: With a person like you, what future can there be in the officialdom?
It didn't take long for Zhang Yi to discover that there were a large number of refugees in his county. There has been no recent disaster, how can there be so many refugees? Zhang Yi hurriedly sent someone to investigate. Soon the news came that the refugees had come from neighboring counties.
It turns out that there is a mountain in the neighboring county, which produces a kind of tea, which can nourish the face and body. Last time, the Qin sent a visit to a neighboring county, and the local county commander sent a lot of tea to please the Qin Cha. After the Qincha brought it back to the capital, it was set as a tribute, and the imperial court demanded tribute from neighboring counties.
However, the tea on the mountain was limited, and the amount of tribute was large, so the county order had to be apportioned to the people, and those who could not hand it over were punished for serious crimes. People who couldn't pay tea had to leave their homes and become refugees......
When Zhang Yi heard this, he couldn't help but look up to the sky and sigh: "Fish fat sells my son, and the fragrance of tea breaks my house, and my family is broken!" ”
At this moment, I saw Wang Quan kneeling on the ground with a "plop" and kowtowing to Zhang Yi repeatedly.
Zhang Yi hurriedly said: "Wang Xiancheng, what are you doing here, get up quickly." ”
Wang Quan said: "My lord, Wang Quan has kowtowed to you for the people of this county." It's just that the villain is stupid for a while, and he misunderstands the good intentions of the adult......"
Zhang Yi lifted up the royal power and said: "It's good that Wang Xiancheng can understand, this county is not afraid of tribute, but once this native product becomes a tribute, it will have to pay tribute every year, and it has become a practice, how can the people bear it?" It's better to destroy it to prevent future troubles! ”
Later, the local people also understood Zhang Yi's painstaking efforts, and were very grateful, and specially made a stone statue for Zhang Yi, which is said to be still in the old city of Huayin.
Yang Jian established the Sui Dynasty and set the capital of Chang'an, creating a brilliant "rule of the emperor". "It ended nearly 300 years of secession and realized another unification of China since the Qin and Han dynasties.
During the opening period of the Sui Dynasty, the territory was vast and the population was large, and it was the peak period of China's agricultural civilization. Yang Jian was one of the greatest Chinese emperors in the eyes of Westerners, and was revered as the "Sage Khan." ”
However, at home, he was afraid that his wife would become famous, and he obeyed what the lonely queen said. Queen Lonely is another vinegar jar, she made Yang Jian fall in love with her all her life, but the three thousand beauties in the harem were snubbed. Especially in the matter of establishing the crown prince, he followed the advice of Queen Lonely and made a fatal mistake.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Yang Jian's eldest son Yang Yong was the crown prince, and Queen Lonely did not like Yang Yong, but preferred Yang Guang. Yang Guang in order to compete for the crown prince, also tried his best: his father went to his palace to inspect, he asked the palace maids to hide, not allowed to show up, only called a few ugly palace maids to follow around, the family guqin deliberately broke the line, put the dust, after the father saw it, thought that Yang Guang is not close to wine, not greedy for pleasure, and will definitely inherit his great cause in the future.
Once Emperor Wen of Sui secretly called a few gentlemen who met him and gave his five princes to face, and Yang Su, who was arranged by Yang Guang to be by Emperor Wen of Sui, told Yang Guang after knowing about it.
Yang Guang spent a lot of money to buy off Mr. Xiangmian. Mr. Xiangmian said in unison in front of the emperor, saying that Yang Guang had the appearance of a rich and noble emperor, and the lonely queen often blew the wind in the emperor's ear, so Emperor Wen of Sui abolished the crown prince Yang Yong and made Yang Guang the crown prince.
In July of the fourth year of Renshou, the emperor was seriously ill, and one of the emperor's concubines, Xuanhua, waited for the emperor with the prince, one day, the emperor saw Xuanhua's tears, and asked the reason, Xuanhua said to the emperor: "The prince is unreasonable!" ”
Emperor Wen of Sui was furious and said: "Why is it enough for a beast to pay a big deal, Dugu Cheng mistook me, and quickly summoned my son into the palace." Everyone was going to call the prince, and the emperor said, "Summoning Yong'er." ”
After Yang Su knew, he immediately told the crown prince Yang Guang, and the prince Yang Guang was so frightened that his face was like dirt, he knew that his father was going to abolish his crown princely status. He led his guards and Zhang Heng to break into Renshou Palace, only to hear a few miserable shouts from Renshou Palace, blood splashed on the screen, and then Yang Guang announced the death of the emperor as the crown prince and succeeded to the throne himself. Change Renshou to a great cause.
After Yang Guang ascended the throne, he falsely passed on the emperor's edict, killed the former crown prince Yang Yong and his sons, and forcibly occupied his father's wife Xuanhua.
Yang Guanghuang was excessive, building a large number of buildings, and conscripting labor, and the people were miserable.
In the winter of this year, Yang Guang had a serious illness, and he was in a trance all day long, and at night he heard the miserable shouts of his father in the entire palace, and the blood stains sprayed on the screen shook in front of him all the time. As soon as he closed his eyes, his father appeared in his dream: "You brute, kill your father, kill your brother, steam your mother, and kill your compatriots and nephews, you can't die a good death." "He couldn't sleep at night and often woke up from nightmares.
The imperial doctor couldn't see any symptoms, and the Taoist monks invited a lot, chanting scriptures, and doing dojos, but it had no effect at all.
On this day, an old Taoist came to the palace, and he saw Yang Guang and said to him: "Because you have done something that hurts heaven and reason, so your father and emperor came to ask for your life, and now there is only one way to save you." "What's the solution?" Yang Guang couldn't wait to ask. "Build a pagoda for your father, comfort your soul, and erect a monument of merit to highlight your father's great achievements, so as to keep you safe." The Taoist priest said.
"How much time do I have left, and what will happen in the future?" Yang Guang asked.
The old Taoist priest smiled and said, "The secret of heaven must not be revealed, but what will happen in the future-it will be harmed by the subordinates." Yang Guang was furious when he heard this: "You demon way, demon words confuse the public, come to someone, push it out and behead it." ”
A few guards came in from outside, grabbed the Taoist priest and walked out, the Taoist priest looked at Yang Guang and laughed. When Yang Guang heard this, he suddenly felt creepy. Yang Guang killed the Taoist priest and summoned his confidant ministers to discuss the construction of a pagoda and a monument.
Some ministers suggested that it be built in the capital, and some suggested that it be built in other places, and finally Yang Guang said: "It was built in the capital, so close to me, and my father came to scare me every day, so it should be built somewhere else." Yang Guang sent his confidant ministers to the field to check, choose the address to build the pagoda, and ordered the minister to write an inscription, once the address is selected, immediately erect the monument. After a few days, the people who went out came back, and they told Yang Guang: "In Boxing, Shandong, there is a Longhua Temple, built in the Taihe period of the Northern Wei Dynasty, although the temple is a little dilapidated, but solemn and magnificent, with royal characteristics, I think there to build a pagoda and set up a monument, the most suitable, there is far away from the imperial city, the environment is elegant, what do you think, the emperor?" ”
Yang Guang pondered for a while and said: "Okay, if you settle your father's soul there, you won't come to disturb me every day, and then rebuild Longhua Temple, the tower is called Longhua Tower, and the tablet is called Longhua Monument, and it must be written on the forehead of the monument 'Dedicated to Emperor Gaozuwen to build Longhua Monument', and the inscription should count the merits of the father." Four years of great cause, Longhua Temple repaired, Longhua Tower stands in the middle of the gate of Longhua Temple, there is a tablet pavilion in front of Longhua Tower, and Longhua Tablet is placed inside.
One day in April, Yang Guang, the emperor of the Great Sui, led the civil and military officials to Longhua Temple, held the unveiling ceremony, the monks in the temple knelt outside the gate to greet, the emperor came to the gate, looked at the couplet on the gate and said: "'Enter the temple gate to visit Zen and worship the Buddha, and accumulate virtue and do good deeds after returning home'. This couplet also needs to be changed, the soul of the father and the emperor is settled in Longhua Temple, he has become a Buddha, and will bless our Great Sui Dynasty for thousands of generations. He pondered for a moment and said, "Pen and ink are waiting." ”
A monk brought pen and ink and put it on the table, Yang Guang thought about it for a while, and wrote a couplet: "The Buddha's heart is benevolent and does not blame all sentient beings for their faults, and the emperor is willing to pray for the blessings of the whole people." ”
The crowd knelt down and shouted long live, and the old monk took the couplet with both hands and said, "I am called a skilled craftsman, carved out of sandalwood, and hung outside the gate, so that everyone knows the emperor's grace." With that, he retreated. Yang Guang came to the Longhua monument, burned incense and prayed, and then knelt down, and the ministers and the monks of the whole temple also knelt together.
After three bows and nine knocks, Yang Guang stepped forward and took off the red silk on the Longhua Monument, and the ministers bowed three times and bowed nine times, shouting long live. After the unveiling ceremony was completed, Yang Guang led hundreds of officials back to the palace.
The dung was the marquis of ten thousand households, the emperors and generals have been submerged by history, and the Longhua Tower has disappeared, only the Longhua monument is telling the little-known stories of the year to future generations.
When Zheng Banqiao was in Renzhi County, Fan County, Shandong, there was a major drought one year, and the peasants' grain output was reduced on a large scale, and poor people begging could be seen everywhere.
On this day, more than a dozen carriages came on the road leading to the county seat, pulling bundles of sheepskins, accompanied by martial artists on horseback escorts. Just as they were sleepy, they suddenly heard a whistle, and then dozens of strong men in tattered clothes jumped out of the sorghum fields by the roadside, and they surrounded the wagons with sticks.
When the two martial artists saw that so many poor men were desperately fighting, they expected that the tiger would not be able to fight the hungry wolf, so they had to dismount and laugh, and asked them to raise their noble hands. The owner of the goods was already trembling with fright, kowtowing and begging for mercy, begging for permission. Unexpectedly, these people did not eat this set, and after a short time of carrying donkeys, they robbed more than a dozen carts of sheepskins. At this time, the two martial artists pulled up the owner of the goods who was paralyzed on the ground, rode on horses and rushed to the county office to report the case. Zheng Banqiao, the magistrate of the county, listened to the drumming and asked, "Who is the plaintiff?" Who are the defendants?" The owner of the goods said tremblingly: "My lord, we are all plaintiffs, suing someone for robbing us of more than a dozen wagons of sheepskins. ”
"Is there any physical evidence?" No, my lord. When Zheng Banqiao heard that this was a "headless case", it was expected that it must have been committed by the hungry people in the county. He deeply understands the suffering of the poor, and it is difficult to convince the public; I am afraid that the punishment will be inflicted on the suffering people, and it is really difficult for a while.
He pondered for a moment and asked, "Plaintiff, you eat fat and have big ears, and you are also literate people who listen to and speak, why are you in a mess at the end of the day?" Is it true that no one else has seen you robbed? There's really no physical evidence?" The owner replied, "Not really." Zheng Banqiao was shocked and said: "Since there is no evidence of any witnesses, why sue him?" It's obviously embarrassing for the official, give each of me a thirty board first!" The officials rushed up and brought down the warriors and the cargo owners.
Just as the fight was about to start, the owner of the goods shouted in a hurry: "My lord is angry, I remember, there are hemp trees at the scene that can be used as human and physical evidence!"
This was originally a prevarication, but I didn't expect Lord Zheng to order: "Quickly go and bring Ma Shu back to await trial!" Then he instructed the master, "Announce to the whole county, three days later, the official will try Ma Shu, and everyone can listen." As soon as the proclamation came out, it spread ten, ten spread hundreds, and the people of this county and neighboring counties knew about it, although they felt a little inexplicable, but they all wanted to see a lively scene. In the blink of an eye, it was the day of the public trial of Ma Shu. The county hall and the yamen were crowded with people. Zheng Banqiao passed the word that the squire and landlord could go to the lobby to hear the case.
The others heard the case outside the lobby. At the beginning of the trial, Tang Wei finished drinking, and Zheng Banqiao shouted: "Take the hemp tree!" The official said "obey", picked up a bundle of hemp and threw it to the hall. Lord Zheng patted the hall and said, "Bold Ma, why didn't you inform the county order of the robbery in front of your eyes?"
Let's hit the forty boards first!" There was a "crackling" sound, and the hemp trees were already flying sideways, and the hall was full of mess.
Master Zheng shouted again: "Make, recruit from the truth, so as not to suffer from skin and flesh again." Of course Ma Shu couldn't answer, and the squires and landlords were very puzzled, what kind of play is the county lord singing? Zheng Banqiao saw that the lobby was silent.
shouted again: "Stubborn Mashu, why don't you recruit me, give me another forty!" There was another beating, and the bundle of hemp in the hall had turned into a pile of rotten wood.
Some of the squires and landlords couldn't help but laugh secretly, and they didn't know which nerve was wrong with the county lord.
After another while, Zheng Banqiao was already furious: "Bold pockmark, you clearly despise this official, and beat me hard!" This time, I didn't say how many fights there were, the officials just fought, and they were so tired that they were out of breath, and the hemp trees had already become pieces.
And Zheng Banqiao was furious, and the appearance of sitting in a precarious position finally made the squires and landlords in the hall burst into laughter.
This annoyed Zheng Banqiao, and he scolded angrily: "This official's trial is not child's play, you laugh at the court, what kind of system you have become, and what crime should you be!" After saying that, he brushed his sleeves and left. When the squires and landlords saw that they had made a big disaster, they were stunned one by one, at a loss, and knelt down one after another, waiting for the fate.
After a while, the master said: "Those who listen to the case in the hall will all register their names, and each person will hand over five sheepskins as a punishment within seven days, and those who can't hand it over will wear shackles and parade through the streets." ”
The squires and landlords thought that the county order invited them to the lobby to hear the trial out of respect for them, but at this time they realized that all this was a "trap", and they secretly complained in their hearts.
It was early autumn. It's not the season to kill cattle and sheep at all, how can there be so many ready-made leather goods. A hundred and ten squires and landlords bought them at high prices, and when the delivery date came, they really handed over all the sheepskins. Zheng Banqiao quietly recalled the plaintiff and asked, "Do you have any marks on your sheepskin?"
The owner replied, "Yes, it is the red seal of the village." Zheng Banqiao led the plaintiff to the warehouse and said, "Look at your goods here?" After a closer look, the owner found that about half of the sheepskins belonged to his own stock.
Zheng Banqiao ordered people to pick out the sheepskins with red seals and register them one by one. It turned out that he had already explained to the master in advance, and the name of the person who made the skin was registered on each skin, and then he ordered the team leader to bring the person who made the skin to interrogate the origin of the sheepskin one by one, and finally found out the group of people who robbed the goods.
After returning the recovered sheepskins to the owner, Zheng Banqiao asked the unprinted sheepskins to be sold, distributed the money to the poor people who robbed the road, and then educated and appeased them, and settled the case.
Although Xie An gained a temporary respite for the Eastern Jin Dynasty after the victory of the First Battle of Weishui, the Eastern Jin Dynasty declined more sharply, with civil strife and turmoil.
In 403 AD, Huan Wen's son Huan Xuan occupied the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, sent troops to attack Jiankang, abolished Emperor An of Jin, and established himself as emperor.
Three or four months later, Liu Yu, the general of the Beifu army, defeated Huan Xuan and welcomed Emperor An of Jin to the throne. Since then, the Eastern Jin Dynasty has only been left with an empty shell.
It was during this period that a great poet of ancient China appeared-Tao Yuanming.
Tao Yuanming, a Tao Qian, was a native of Xunyang Chaisang (now southwest of Jiujiang, Jiangxi). He was born into a family of declining bureaucrats. His great-grandfather was Tao Kan, a general in the Eastern Jin Dynasty; But by the time he was a teenager, the Tao family had fallen into decline and lived in poverty. Despite this, Tao Yuanming has received a good family education since he was a child, he is well-read, and has developed a noble character of few words, averse to vanity, and not greedy for wealth and wealth. This personality influenced his career, and in his life, he only worked as a petty official intermittently for thirteen years.
It wasn't until he was twenty-nine years old that Tao Yuanming got the position of Jiangzhou sacrificial wine, but he resigned early because he couldn't stand the red tape of officialdom. After living at home for five or six years, at the age of thirty-five, he went to Jingzhou and became a small official under the assassin Shi Huanxuan, and in less than a year, he resigned and returned home due to the death of his mother, and lived for another five or six years.
Tao Yuanming is a descendant of a famous general after all, and there are many people in the officialdom who know him. In 405 AD, when he was forty-one years old, he was recommended to Pengze (now northeast of Jiujiang, Jiangxi) as a county magistrate.
finally served as a county magistrate in Pengze for dozens of days, and one day, Tao Yuanming got a news: Liu Yu, a powerful minister of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, had named himself a general of chariots and cavalry, and the governor of the military of various states; The careerist was just one step away from seizing the throne.
Tao Yuanming had a premonition that the Jin Dynasty had already existed in name only, so he was very discouraged and left the yamen and went home.
His wife Zhai saw Tao Yuanming's sullen look, so she didn't want to ask more. Zhai served the wine and food, but Tao Yuanming didn't move his chopsticks, still sitting there and sighing. After a while, Tao Yuanming said coldly: "I want to resign and go back to my hometown!" ”
As soon as Zhai heard it, he knew that he was angry in the officialdom again, because Tao Yuanming didn't know how many times he had said it when he resigned and went home.
A few months ago, Tao Yuanming wanted to resign, but Zhai reminded him that hundreds of acres of official land were about to be planted with rice, and he would resign after the harvest.
At that time, Tao Yuanming finally listened to his wife's words and his tone eased. This time, the Zhai family still used the matter of harvesting rice in the official field to persuade him, and after Tao Yuanming heard it, he let out a long sigh: "Alas, there is really no way, do I still want to be a slave of grain!" Under Zhai's considerate persuasion, Tao Yuanming raised his wine glass.
The factors of the current situation, coupled with Tao Yuanming's arrogance, have never dispelled his idea of resignation. One day, the official came to report: In a few days, the superintendent sent by the county will come to Peng Ze to inspect. The post superintendent Tao Yuanming knew that he was a playboy who relied on power and sycophancy, but was ignorant and ignorant.
Tao Yuanming thought that he was going to wear a whole crown and tie and force a smile to greet this kind of villain, but he couldn't bear it.
His stubborn temper flared up again: "How can I bend my waist to that kind of despicable villain for the sake of these five buckets of rice officials?" ”
So, Tao Yuanming left the yamen, returned home with a straight face, and said to Zhai: "Pack up and go home!" ”
Zhai told him that the rice was only a few days away from being harvested.
"Let it be!" This time, Tao Yuanming was already determined to resign. After Zhai asked the reason, he stopped persuading and silently packed up. The next day, Tao Yuanming left Pengze by boat. He served as Peng Zeling, and after only more than 80 days in office, his thirteen-year career finally came to an end.
Since then, Tao Yuanming has lived a reclusive life in his hometown. For officialdom, he has no attachment at all, and after resigning, he has a sense of comfort in regaining his freedom. He drank alcohol and wrote poetry every day. More than 20 years after his return to the field, it was the most abundant period of creation, and his main works include: "Words of Return", "Five Songs of Returning to the Countryside", "Tale of the Peach Blossom Spring", "Twenty Songs of Drinking", "Three Elegy Poems" and so on.
Among them, "The Story of the Peach Blossom Spring" reflects Tao Yuanming's ideological realm and artistic height. In the poem, through fictional techniques, the Peach Blossom Garden is depicted as a stable society with flowers in full bloom, green trees, men, women and children, hard work and weaving, and peace and worry-free. Tao Yuanming used this to express his beautiful yearning, as well as his dissatisfaction with the chaotic times and dark political reality at that time.
Tao Yuanming's poetry and rhetoric occupy an important position in Chinese literature.
Tang Dynasty poet saint Du Fu, a bumpy life, a difficult career, in his 50s, with his wife and children to Shatou Town.
When he first arrived in Shatou Town, he had no source of livelihood, although he had the help of his younger brother Du Guan and friends, but after all, he was under the fence and not a long-term solution.
So, with the help of everyone, he opened a Chinese medicine shop in Baicaotang, selling medicine as a business, and chatting about his years.
After the pharmacy opened, the goods were genuine, and some poor people really had no money to pay for the medicine, and they were given away for free.
The local people are full of praise for this, and they all come here to buy medicine. The pharmacy was in full swing, and the business was booming, so Baicaotang offended the owners of several other pharmacy shops. They bought off the local county order and wanted to smash Du Fu's Baicaotang pharmacy.
One day, the sky was overcast and it was raining lightly, and there were not many customers in the Baicaotang Pharmacy. At this moment, I heard a knock at the door, and a scribe entered. I saw him raise his eyebrows, as if there was no one around, he threw the medicine list in his hand on the counter, and said loudly: "This is the medicine that the county commander urgently needs. The guy at the pharmacy hurriedly took the medicine list, and was stunned when he saw it, only to see that the four flavors of medicine prescribed on it were: "Good luck, bad luck, good luck, bad luck." ”
An old guy hurriedly smiled and asked, "Which Gao Minglang did your brother ask for the prescription, why haven't we seen each other?" ......" The scribe did not wait for him to finish speaking, and then scolded: "Damn it! What kind of Chinese medicine shop do you own? Hurry up and call Du Lao out for me, if you can't match the medicine of the county magistrate, I will smash your signboard!" The guys didn't dare to slack off, and hurriedly told Du Fu about it.
As soon as Du Fu heard it, he knew that this was to deliberately make things difficult, and after taking the medicine and looking at it, he smiled coldly, just carving insects, and also came to the class to get an axe, it was really beyond his strength! I took the four flavor medicine and walked out.
When he saw the scribe, he still treated him politely, and asked, "This eldest brother is invited, I don't know what the county commander has to say?" The scribe didn't look at Du Fu, but replied arrogantly: "Our county commander wants you to take medicine according to the order, otherwise he will smash your signboard and ask you to get out!" "Oh, so that's the case," Du Fu said unhurriedly: "The medicine that the county magistrate needs, our pharmacy has everything." As he spoke, Du Fu took out four flavor medicines: a piece of dried radish, a piece of ginger sprouts, a fresh plum, and a dried peach.
The scribe was dumbfounded: "Du Laoqi, how is this the medicine on the medicine list?" What do you want? Du Fu said: "Dried radish is the meaning of 'Ganluo', Ganluo became the prime minister at the age of twelve, do you say he is 'lucky'?" "Yes." The scribe hurriedly replied.
"Ginger sprouts mean 'ginger teeth'. Jiang Ziya met King Wen at the age of eighty-three, is it 'late'? "Yes, yes." The scribe replied repeatedly.
"Look at this red-skinned plum, although it is not sour, it is the current market of good goods, it can be said to be 'positive luck'!" "Ahh The scribe was helpless.
"This is a peach of the next year, after snow and frost, it is not a fresh fruit, it can only be used in medicine, so it is said that 'bad luck'." The scribe had nothing to refute, so he had to nod his head again and again, picked up these "medicines", and went back to pay for the errand.
