Chapter Twenty-Six: Gloom

Picking a small shop, Andy walked in.

The shopkeeper was standing behind the counter reading a book when he heard the sound and stood up.

The middle-aged man had two noticeable beards on his face, and the horns were upturned.

"Hello guest, what do you buy?"

Andy looked at the storefront and felt that it was a small shop, and the most of the things on the shelves behind the owner were wine, which was in line with Andy's expectations.

"What good cheap wine do you have here?"

Old Kyle ha, handing out two yellow bottles of wine from under the counter.

"This is the best wine I've ever sold here, Old Kyle's private brew! You don't have to go to the night fire bar and spend a lot of money on alcohol, in my case, you can drink a bottle with 5 bottle caps.... However, although it is cheap, this wine is not something that you are used to drinking in a moment. โ€

Andy frowned and looked at the two strange bottles of wine that looked like orange juice, and then directly unscrewed it and took a sip.

"Poofโ€”"

He didn't control it directly, and was choked by the strange smell of this wine.

Turning into the Pip-Boy, Andy wanted to see what this thing was made of.

[New Item: Kyle's Moonshine]

[Ingredients: methanol, ethanol, water, sulfuric acid aqueous solution...]

[Description: Fake wine harms people]

Andy looked at old Kyle with an unkind face.

"I told you to bring me wine, not this kind of garbage!"

Old Kyle raised his hand and shook it in apologies, explaining in an aggrieved voice.

"Oh oh oh, I see, I understand, because people in the neighborhood can only afford this kind of wine, and if they want to drink good wine, they won't come to me at all... This, the wine at this price in the wasteland tastes like this, in fact, many people can't get used to it at first, but after spitting it for a while, they get used to it, okay? โ€

He turned around and walked into the small room behind him, and after a little fuss, he brought out a case of wine.

"These are good wines...."

Andy walked over and saw rows of bottles stacked in the tattered cardboard box, pulled them out, and there was whiskey written on them.

"There are only three boxes in total, I was going to keep them for myself, if you want to buy them, I'll sell them cheaper, 25 caps per bottle."

Unscrew a bottle and take a sip of it, and it tastes right.

"I want them all."

Andy throws out hundreds of bottle caps and tells Old Kyle to take out the rest, and then leaves his shop with Old Kyle as he farewells.

Coming out of the store and putting his things in the beep boy, Andy walked back towards his car.

On the way, Andy passes by a small alley full of garbage, and a group of dirty hooligans don't know what to do in it.

An unpleasant smell of burnt came from inside, and no one around wanted to stay around this group of people for a long time, so they all avoided it, and Andy didn't want to get close to that group of fools, but anyway, it was relatively close here, and he didn't bother to take a detour.

As he walked to the nearest place to the group, Andy glanced inside, then stopped.

Some of the iron hooks have some strange "launches" hanging from them, and there is even a ...."head".

"Hey.... What are you cooking? โ€

Andy asked indifferently, but received no reply.

Looking at the people who gathered around the cauldron like flies, Andy's forehead began to show green tendons.

He walked over, kicked a man into the air, and saw something churning in the cauldron.

Without waiting for him to say anything, the ruffian he had just kicked him howled and kicked Andy, but this move had no effect, Andy didn't move, but he bounced out by himself.

Now those guys who were staring at the pot and were engrossed in it finally noticed Andy's approach, and stood up one after another, some of them had already taken out some homemade sharp weapons from their arms, and a few people quietly detoured behind Andy to completely block the alley, and no one dared to approach this dirty area at night.

The guy sitting in the innermost seat, who had wrapped the upper half of his body in a black blanket, finally stood up, coughing softly twice and asking questions in a hoarse voice.

"Who are you? What do you want to do? โ€

Andy looked around at the people around him with a straight face, took out the machete that Craig had given him from the beep-beep boy, and pointed it at the cauldron that was still boiling.

"How?"

The guy who looked like a head made a lewd hey-hey sound.

"What does it have to do with you? If you dare to come to our Wild Dog Gang's territory and call the number, you can stay today and look at your strong flesh..... It makes people appetizing when they see it. โ€

Before he could finish speaking, a rogue standing to Andy's left opened his foul mouth and bit at Andy.

Andy didn't even look away, he raised his hand and slapped the machete in his hand flat, directly slapping the reckless fool away, he rolled to the ground, his mouth was full of blood, and several of his already fragile teeth had been knocked out by Andy's knife.

The surrounding Wild Dog Gang was frightened and took a step back.

"I ask again, how did it come?"

The leader of the gangsters, who covered his upper body, hesitated for a moment.

โ€œ..... We have people picking it up on the east side road, and it's a waste to cheap coyotes. โ€

Andy looked at some of the half-cooked parts in the cauldron again, and felt sick again.

"You..."

Andy was about to say something, when he suddenly noticed a few glaring blue dots on the emaciated pale arms of the faceless fellow in the light of the fire under the pot.

His eyes shrunk and he chuckled.

"Come here..."

He raised his machete and pointed it at the leader of the gangsters.

The other party shuddered for a moment, then felt unbearable, lifted the black blanket that wrapped his upper body, and yelled: Do it!

At that moment, Andy clearly saw that the face of the guy in front of him was densely covered with blue blisters.

He turned on V mode and looked around.

Really.

Many of these thugs have some blue blisters on their bodies.

When Andy walked out of this filthy alley, the machete in his hand was still dripping blood.

Craig didn't give Andy a sample, and this thing is no different from cutting off a melon.

After he had walked for a while, a curious child cautiously walked into the dark alley..... He wandered around the alley for a while, picked up a few tattered rags and put them in his arms, and when he had a harvest, he became bolder. Seeing that there was no movement, he took out a lighter and lit it and walked deeper into it.

The first thing he saw was a cauldron that had left where it had been, and instead unnaturally slammed into the ground.

At this moment, he saw a bottle cap not far away.

The child cheered, ran two steps, crouched down and picked up the cap.

Keep your head up.

He saw hell.

The screams passed through the night, like the smoke of a fire disappearing in the starlight.

In the empty alley, the little kid who fled in a hurry didn't see that the cauldron was actually buckled on a corpse.

His exposed arms were covered with blue blisters, bursting open under the action of the hot juice, oozing a foul-smelling blue liquid.
