Chapter 266: The Contest Begins

Two young warriors stood in the middle, their eyes fixed and engrossed in each other. The surrounding audience held their breath, nervous and excited, knowing that it was going to be a pitched battle.

The first to attack was the young man in the blue robe. He was tall, muscular, and had a determined face on his face. He clenched the sword in his hand, and his steps were agile and powerful. In an instant, he rushed towards his opponent like lightning.

He was met by a young man in a red robe. He is relatively small in stature, but he is unusually agile in his movements. With a slight flicker, he deftly dodged his opponent's attack. Then, he quickly launched a counterattack, his sword flashing light, forcing his opponent to retreat again and again.

The crowd on the sidelines cheered for their performance, and the warm atmosphere made people's blood boil. The battle between the two young men grew more and more intense, and every attack and every counterattack they made was amazing.

Suddenly, the young man in the blue robe launched an all-out blow. The long sword in his hand emitted a dazzling light, as if blending into the moonlight. He shouted, stabbing his sword at his opponent.

At this critical moment, the young man in the red robe jumped up, flipped a few times in the air, and skillfully dodged the fatal blow. Then he fell, and the sword in his hand went straight to the opponent's vital point.

The two young men collided together, swords flying everywhere. Their strength is equal, their skills are superb, and every move is full of the atmosphere of a decisive battle. Their figures intertwined in the moonlight, like two bolts of lightning intertwining in the night sky.

Their movements are like dance, fast and graceful, and every punch and kick carries an almost palpable energy. Their bodies seemed to be shrouded in a halo of light, and whenever skin to skin collided, there would be a sputter of white light.

The first young man, his name was Wren. He was tall and muscular, with black hair fluttering in the wind. His eyes were like stars in the night sky, full of light and enthusiasm. He wore a well-fitting suit that shimmered with electric blue light, like lightning in the night sky.

His eyes are a deep purple, and his gaze is sharp, as if he can see everything. His palms were slightly sweaty, a sign of nervousness and excitement.

The second young man, his name is Windranger. He was slightly shorter than Wren, but more muscular. His eyes are as deep as the sea, as if he can see everything. He wore a dark green suit with the power of the wind flowing on it, and whenever he moved, it would bring gusts of wind.

Each of their attacks was like hitting an invisible wall, making a dull sound. Their bodies staggered in the air, leaving a trail of afterimages. They are getting faster and stronger, but they are never able to inflict damage on each other.

Wren suddenly let out a loud shout, and his body instantly accelerated, rushing straight towards the Windranger. His fist was emitted with a strong electric light, like a bolt of lightning piercing the night sky. Windranger smiled slightly, and his body suddenly disappeared in place, appearing behind Wren. One of his hands reached forward, as if grasping an invisible sword in the air.

Just as Wren's body was about to touch the Windranger, the Windranger's hand swung out, and an invisible sword aura appeared in the air, instantly slicing through Wren's body. Wren's body split in two in the air, but no blood spurted out.

Suddenly, Wren roared, and a powerful thunderbolt erupted from his body. In an instant, Windranger was pushed against the back wall by this force, and his body left a deep imprint on the brick wall. However, Windranger did not flinch, instead, he smiled even more, as if enjoying the battle.

Windranger suddenly lunged forward, slashing at Wren with both hands like swords. Wren smiled coldly, didn't dodge, and directly met the attack of the Windranger. At the moment of collision, the bodies of the two flew into the air at the same time. Their power caused a storm in the air, and stone walls, tiles, and sticks flew in the air.

After the two landed, they rushed towards each other at the same time. This time, Wren's fists were filled with the blue glow of lightning, and Windranger's hands turned into a raging wind. They fought in the middle of the alley, and each collision caused a seismic tremor.

However, the battle did not last long. After an engagement, the Windranger suddenly jumped backwards, and the wind in his hand instantly turned into a tornado. The tornado roared towards Wren, and everything in the alley was swept up in the force.

In the face of this sudden attack, Wren did not panic. He smiled coldly, clasped his hands together, and the power of thunder and lightning jumped in his fingertips. He gave a sharp push, and a powerful force of thunder and lightning struck directly at the tornado. At the moment of impact, the thunder and lightning and the wind intertwined into a huge ball of energy, and the walls and roofs of the alley instantly collapsed under this force.

The air between the two suddenly trembled, as if an invisible force was squeezing the aura around them. Then, they attacked at the same time.

Wren wielded his hammer and smashed it towards the Windranger like a mountain. Every step he took seemed to shake the earth, sending dust flying around him. His eyes were cold, as if he was determined to defeat the challenger in front of him.

Windranger nimbly dodged Wren's attacks while unleashing a quick sword strike. His swordsmanship is like a whirlwind in the wind, cutting through all obstacles that stand in his way. There was a determination in his eyes, as if he didn't intend to throw in the towel easily.

The battle between the two became more and more intense, and the air around them seemed to be ignited by their fighting spirit. Every sword strike and every impact seemed to strike the hearts of the audience.

Then, in a violent collision, Wren's warhammer and Windranger's sword shattered at the same time.

Suddenly, there was a gust of wind in the air, and the Windranger vanished in an instant, leaving only an afterimage. Wren's clenched fist slammed out, but it only hit the air. His eyes darkened slightly, obviously not expecting Windranger to be so fast.

At this moment, Windranger appeared behind Wren, his palm already attached to a layer of yellow light, ready to deliver a fatal blow. However, Wren seemed to have expected it, and he lunged forward with a purple bolt of lightning at the same time.

Windranger is struck by lightning and rolls in the air a few times before falling to the ground hard. He struggled to his feet, only to find Wren already standing in front of him, his eyes cold.

"You've lost." Wren said lightly, then turned to leave. The Windranger silently looked at his back, a hint of admiration and helplessness flashing in his eyes.
