All human beings come to this world of samsara to suffer, and to suffer is to repay the debts of your past lives, that is, karma that makes things go wrong for you. You have suffered everything, and the more you suffer, the faster you will pay off your debts. If you don't have any debts, you can easily go up and no longer suffer from the cycle of depravity. It is easiest to be liberated from suffering, because you are only one step away from the way of heaven. Being a human being is the easiest to fall because you are one step away from the evil way. The Buddha makes good people suffer and hears the Fa-rectification, all for you to seize the opportunity to gain human rebirth, achieve it as soon as possible, and be reborn and cultivate to the right fruit. Although it is very difficult, if you cultivate according to the Fa, there will definitely be some results if you plant the cause.

"Old Gaoli" also comforted Zhan Zhizhan that it is easy to go downhill and difficult to go uphill, especially when you have a heavy back, the faster you roll down, and it is difficult to go up. There is a cloud in the "Lengyan Sutra": "If you cultivate samadhi, you will work out of dust." If the lustful heart is not removed, the dust will not come out. Even before the advent of wisdom meditation, if you continue to commit adultery, you will fall into the path of demons. The high-grade demon king, the middle-grade demon people, and the low-grade witch. Master Yinguang once taught: The easiest way to achieve the Dharma is to recite the Dharma, although it can bring karma to life, but if the obscenity is consolidated and cannot be resolved, it will be separated from the Buddha, and it is difficult to sense the Tao. In this way, the Buddha will not be of much help. Even if you enter the meditation and wisdom before the present, if you continue to commit adultery, the highest is only to be a high-grade demon king, and you will not be able to become a Buddha. The five precepts are killing, stealing, adultery, and drinking, and one is continuous, that is, it is impossible to leave life and death.

Although Zhan Zhizhan felt that "Old Gaoli" was not unreasonable, he also tried to go to the library to find some books on Buddhism to study. Zhan Zhizhan does not want to become a monk, it is also good to learn to study Buddhist works and learn the principles of life.
