253, the wind rises in Luoyang

Life is like hemp, and the wind and clouds are changing. The rivers and lakes are on the right path, and the wind and rain are shaking. The wind rises in Luoyang, and the phoenix dances for nine days. Dancing with wolves, the storm is rising.

"If you want to ask about the rise and fall of the world, please only look at Luoyang City." Because it's the place where the sun goes down and returns! "The dragon and snake are hidden on the road, and the government and the field are connected to the mountains." It is a true portrayal of Luoyang, the ancient god capital.

Before we get back to business, let's take a look at the cultural scenery of the place where the story is about to take place - Longmen Grottoes: leave some regrets, and there will be nostalgia......

Longmen Grottoes Fengxian Temple Lushena Buddha

Leaving the Shaolin Temple, a thousand-year-old ancient temple, our "online view of Henan" group immediately took a car along the wide tourist avenue all the way to China's three major grotto art treasure houses (Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, Shanxi Datong Yungang Grottoes, Luoyang Longmen Grottoes, in addition to the Maijishan Grottoes in Tianshui City, Gansu Province and the North Sumeru Mountain Grottoes in the northwest of Liupan Mountain in Guyuan County, Ningxia Province. One of them - from the Longmen Grottoes.

The sky in the afternoon is a little too gloomy, you can see the lush Longmen Mountain tip in the distance, is sighing that there are such beautiful mountains in the north, a turn, the field of vision suddenly opens, only to see the jade belt-like Yishui from the edge of the sky split the two mountains gently and calmly, the water surface is wide and clear, the willow shore blows the wind, and the air is moist and fresh in an instant. Walk slowly along the one-kilometer-long bluestone road by the Yishui River, with a scene at a time, and there are surprises every step. Large and small, different postures and expressions, lifelike Buddha shrines are densely spread on the entire cliff wall, Buddha statues or standing or lying, or walking or flying, or dancing or singing, or joy or hatred, marvel at its ghostly workmanship, but also can hear the voice of regret from time to time: many exquisite Buddha statues are incomplete heads, it is said that many have become the collection of foreign museums, really shameless, take the things of other countries as their own. At the same time, thousands of years of vicissitudes of nudity have also caused their round skin to be gradually weathered and corroded. According to the staff, the Longmen Grottoes have done a lot of protection work in this regard, especially in the past two years, they have cooperated with Japan and will do their best to protect this only world cultural heritage in Henan from erosion.

"This is the most beautiful Buddha statue in Longmen." In front of the Lotus Cave, the tour guide pointed to a statue of Guanyin with a ruined head and said that Mei Lanfang had carefully studied and practiced this beautiful shape on the stage many times. Looking closely, I saw her gently lifting the bottle in her left hand, and quietly sprinkling the Buddha dust on her shoulder in her right hand. was about to reach out and stroke, but suddenly sighed and quickly retracted, and couldn't bear to desecrate her elegance and leisure.

With the sudden opening of the eyes, the temple arrived. Climbing up the stairs, the beautiful Lushena Buddha is already sitting in front of him. I have seen her beautiful and plump figure in countless albums, but now that I am by her side, I am still so shocked! The compassionate eyes that look down on the world, the shallow and incredible smile, the gentle and kind face and mind that have read the cold and summer of the world, seem to have infinite magic, so that everyone who looks at her is overwhelmed, moved, and lingered......

"The grottoes are not only an artistic expression of Buddhist culture, but also a manifestation of the aspirations of the people who lived in that era." What did craftsmen from thousands of years ago place on these Buddha statues? Is the smile of the Buddha a tribute to the vicissitudes of the millennium?
