Jiuhua Mountain, known as "Iron Jiuhua" in the rivers and lakes, is dedicated to the Tibetan Bodhisattva and is the gathering place of the Jiuhua Mountain School of Buddhism. Formerly known as Jiuzi Mountain, it is known as the four famous mountains of Chinese Buddhism "gold, silver, copper and iron" together with Wutai, Emei and Putuo. It is located in the southwest of Qingyang County, Anhui Province, with an area of more than 100 square kilometers. There are ninety-nine peaks, with Tiantai, Lianhua, Tianzhu, Shiwang and other nine peaks are the most majestic, the main peak Shiwang Peak is 1342 meters above sea level. It is one of the three famous mountains in Anhui Province (Yellow Mountain, Jiuhua Mountain, Tianzhu Mountain) in Anhui Province, and is also one of the "Santiago" places of ancient learning immortals. At the Huashan Martial Arts Conference, the Jiuhuashan faction was also invited to attend.
Coincidentally, in the southeast side of the government of Wujiang Pingfang Town, Suzhou, Jiangsu, there is also a "small Jiuhua Mountain Temple" on the side of the road.
"Taiping Yulan" records, this mountain is strange, high above the cloud surface, the peaks and peaks are different, there are nine of them, so it is called Jiuzi Mountain. Tang poet Li Bai has a poem: "In the past, on the Jiujiang River, looking at Jiuhua Peak from afar, the Tianhe River hung green water, embroidered nine hibiscus." Since then, it has been renamed Jiuhua Mountain. There are many streams, waterfalls, strange stones, ancient caves, pine trees, green bamboos, mountains and waters, unique and unique, places of interest and historic sites, all over the place. Tang Liu Yuxi praised it and said: "The strange peak is shocked at first sight", and Song Wang Anshi praised it as "Chu Yue Ten Thousand Mountains, Xiongqi This Mountain is Both". It is known as the "first mountain in the southeast".
Look! They all want to strive for "the first in the world"! It is so close to the Yellow Mountain and Qiyun Mountain, if Jiuhua Mountain is the "first mountain in the southeast", where will the face of the "Yellow Mountain" go? Isn't Huangshan so angry that he has become a "yellow-faced woman"? "No! I'm going to fight it! The Qiyun Mountain faction also wanted to say: "My disobedience!" It's going to be a battle with it! The Huangshan faction said to the Qiyunshan faction: "You don't obey him!" Just give him a keฤซ! โ
The development of this mountain began in the Jin Long'an period, the Tang Kaiyuan period, one said that during the Yonghui period, the Silla king Jinzong Jin Qiaojue (Jizo) came here, opened the Jizo King Dojo, it turned out to be a "foreign Bodhisattva"! Since then, large-scale temples have been built, and they have flourished day by day after the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. In its heyday, there were more than 300 Buddhist temples and more than 4,000 monks. I really don't know how they eat it? The temple is always full of cigarette smoke, and it lasts for many years, and enjoys the name of "Buddha Country Immortal City". Now there are still 78 ancient temples such as Huacheng Temple, Flesh Treasure Palace, Huiju Temple, Hundred Years Old Palace, more than 1,500 Buddha statues, and more than 1,300 pieces of cultural relics such as the holy decree, Tibetan scriptures, and other jade seals, magic vessels and other cultural relics given by the Wanli Emperor of the Ming Dynasty. The 100-year-old palace also has a physical statue of the Bodhisattva, that is, the flawless Zen master. It has been turned into a tourist attraction, so if you have time, you can go there.
"I opened this mountain, I planted this tree, if you want to pass from here, leave to buy road wealth!" It is said that when you come here to meet the "Jizo King Bodhisattva", you have to leave "money to buy the road", if you don't stay, "your death is dead", you don't have the heart of the Bodhisattva, yours is not a donor, and you are not kind.
