Wuyi Mountain, the gathering place of the Wuyi Mountain faction of Taoism, can also be said to be one of the "Four Famous Mountains of Taoism", and it and Qiyun Mountain should also compete for the position of "Four Famous Mountains of Taoism". Because, there are two versions of the "Four Famous Mountains of Taoism": Heming Mountain (Qingcheng Mountain Branch) faction, Longhu Mountain faction, Wudang Mountain faction, Qiyun Mountain faction, and another saying is Wudang Mountain faction, Longhu Mountain faction, Qingcheng Mountain faction, and Wuyi Mountain faction. Look at it, these two statements are unclear and want Qi Yun and Wuyi Mountain to fight?

This mountain is 15 kilometers south of Chong'an County, Fujian Province, and is a famous scenic spot in China. The radius is 60 kilometers, surrounded by valleys on all sides, not connected with the outer mountains, and has the reputation of Qixiujia in the southeast. Another one who wants to compete for "the first in the world". In addition, Wuyi Mountain is the junction of Jiangxi and Fujian, which can be said to be the boundary between these two provinces.

Wuyi Mountain

The main scenery is "Xiqu Sansanshui" (Jiuqu River) and "Mountain Ring Liuliu Peak" (36 Peaks). The bending turquoise Jiuqu stream water, rippling with countless red and black mottled rock peaks, the group of peaks splitting the ground, showing off the wonderful, thousands of postures, the mountain light and water color, reflect each other, constitute a natural beauty of clear water and Danshan. Most of the places of interest and historic sites are concentrated in the Jiuqu area, including the former site of Chongyou Wannian Palace (Wuyi Palace), and the former site of Ziyang Academy (Wuyi Jingshe) where Zhu Xi lectured (I don't know...). Is this the case? ), the thousand-year-old rainbow bridge board and the coffin of the erected gully in the cliff gap cave, the former site of the imperial tea garden in the Yuan Dynasty, the cliff inscriptions of the past dynasties, and the scenic spots such as Dawang Peak, Jade Girl Peak, Tianyou Peak, Bamboo Shoot Peak, Small Peach Spring, Water Curtain Cave, Liuxiang Stream, and a line of sky. The mountain is rich in colorful, fragrant and mellow rock tea, and the "big red robe" is the most precious. There are rare and precious animals and plants in the world, and it is a national key nature reserve. Wuyishan is also one of the old revolutionary bases in Fujian Province, and there is the site of the "Chishi Riot" in 1942 nearby. This is the National Key Nature Reserve, the National Key Scenic Area and the National Tourist Resort of Xiaowuyi Mountain. I wonder if you've ever been here?

Wuyi Mountain is located in the northwest of Fujian Province, China, with a total area of 99,975 hectares at 117"24'12"~118"0250" east longitude and 27"32'36"~27'55'15" north latitude. It is divided into four protected areas: the natural and cultural landscape in the east, the ecology of Jiuquxi in the middle, the biodiversity in the west, and the ruins of Minyue Wangcheng in the urban village. Wuyi Mountain is not only "a zone of rare natural beauty" and "a habitat for rare or endangered animals and plants", but also "a witness of a vanished civilization" and "one of the birthplaces of traditional ideas of special universal significance".

Wuyi Mountain is not only beautiful, but also the most complete, typical and largest central subtropical native forest ecosystem in the same latitude zone in the world, a key area for the conservation of ramie diversity in the world, and a habitat for rare and endangered species. This is due to the fact that during the land-making movement, the convex "roof of East China (Mainland) roof" and its adjacent peaks resist the cold current in the north and welcome the warm wind in the south, forming a special climate, which has become a holy place for plants and a paradise for animals.

In the "natural sanctuary" of animals and plants in the Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve, there are currently 3,728 known species of plants, such as rare tulipwood, ginkgo, southern hemlock, Wuyi hoof fern, 880-year-old Song Gui, 980-year-old southern yew, etc. There are 28 rare and endangered species listed in the Red Book of Chinese Plants, and there are more than 20 species with the epithet of "Wuyi", such as Wuyi Iron Horn Fern. At present, there are 5110 known animal species, including 71 species of mammals, 256 species of birds, 40 species of ichthya, 35 species of amphibians, 73 species of reptiles, and 4635 species of insects. There are 46 species of animals listed internationally (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species). Chinese and foreign biologists have described it as "the key to the study of amphibians and reptiles", "a paradise for birds", "a world of insects", and "a kingdom of snakes".

As early as the mid-19th century, British, American, French, and German biologists collected a large number of specimens here, which are still preserved in famous museums in London, New York, Berlin, and Paris. World Heritage assessment experts believe that Wuyi Mountain not only has unique and precious natural heritage, but also its cultural heritage has outstanding and universal value, which can provide a unique witness to the ancient cultural traditions of ancient civilizations that have disappeared, and are closely integrated with and complementary to natural heritage, which is extremely valuable.

Wuyi Mountain is the cradle of Zhu Zi's science and the base for the study of Zhu Zi's science in the world today. From the age of 14 to his death at the age of 71, Zhu Xi studied, wrote, lectured and preached in Wuyi Mountain for more than 50 years, and finally became the master of science, and was the most influential thinker, philosopher and educator in ancient China after Confucius. As the orthodox ideology of the late feudal society, his ideas ruled China for more than 700 years, not only had a far-reaching influence at home, but also spread overseas, becoming the guiding ideology of the Lee Dynasty of Korea for 500 years, as well as the doctrine accepted by the government and the opposition in Dongying, and also exerted varying degrees of influence on the ideological circles of Western countries. Cai Shangsi, a famous scholar in China, made this evaluation of the historical and cultural status of Wuyi Mountain and Zhu Zilixue: "There was Confucius in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, and Zhu Xi in the Southern Song Dynasty. Ancient Chinese culture, Mount Tai and Wuyi. โ€

Wuyi Mountain is the location of the Minyue royal city of the Western Han Dynasty more than 2,000 years ago. The ruins of the Minyue Wangcheng in the eastern part of Wuyi Mountain, covering an area of 480,000 square meters, are the most well-preserved ancient city sites of the Han Dynasty south of the Yangtze River in China. It is unique in its location, architectural form and style, and is a typical representative of ancient southern cities. At present, a large number of cultural relics have been unearthed, and a museum has been built to exhibit them: strolling through the ruins of the ancient city and viewing the precious cultural relics is like seeing the prosperous capital of Minyue in the past.

The history of civilization in Wuyi Mountain can be traced back to more than 4,000 years ago, when there were ancient Min people working and living in Wuyi Mountain, which lasted for thousands of years. Now it is still stored in more than ten cliff caves, the "coffin of the gully boat", which has been three or four thousand years ago, is the earliest hanging coffin found at home and abroad, and is a precious relic for the study of pre-Qin and ancient Fujian culture. The coffin of the cloud cliff ship is also a mystery of ancient Chinese culture. Wuyi Mountain also has a unique cultural phenomenon, that is, Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism are the same mountain. Wuyi Mountain is the sixteenth of the 36 Taoist caves, called "Shengzhen Yuanhua Cave Heaven". Li Liangzuo, the younger brother of the Southern Tang Emperor, entered the Tao here. There have been Taoist celebrities Lu Dongbin, Zhiweizi, Bai Yuchan, Jiang Shilong and so on to practice here. Wuyi Mountain is also one of the "Eight Little Famous Mountains of Huazhou" of Buddhism. As early as the first year of Tang Wude (618), there were monks who built temples in the mountains. Yiren Weng Qiandu cultivated a positive fruit, buckled ice bathing, became a high monk, and was widely worshiped by believers. The Sanskrit sounds of the subsequent generations continued. Fuhu Zen Master, Zujian Zen Master, Chaoquan Master and so on built a temple here to practice. Now the ancient temple Tianxin Yongle Temple has been rebuilt and repaired, and the incense is prosperous, adding another scene to the famous mountain. What is commendable is that for more than 1,000 years, Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism have coexisted in peace, and it has been passed on as a beautiful talk, reflecting the compatibility and open-mindedness of Wuyi Famous Mountain.

The unique, wonderful and outstanding nature and ecology of Wuyi Mountain, as well as the culture closely integrated and complementary with it, have attracted the appreciation of many literati, scholars, experts and scholars throughout the ages. So far, there are hundreds of cliff carvings in Wuyi Mountain, or poems, or words, or texts, all of which are historical records of the ancient civilization of Wuyi Mountain, and have also become the tour guide illustrations of today's travel. Today, attaching importance to the natural environment and cultural traditions, Wuyi Mountain has aroused the yearning and love of people of insight in the world.
