81. Treasure map

In addition to the largest cell, the bilge consisted of rooms separated on either side of the corridor.

All that remained in the hallway was a soft layer of silt, dry enough to not stick to your feet, and in the light of the divine shimmer, there were still traces of the sea spreading up the wooden walls on either side, and some seaweed was still stained under the walls.

Roy came out of the bilge where the Naga merfolk were being held and tried to push open the hatches on either side of the corridor, when the ship was fished out of the harbor, the bilge was filled with seawater, and the contents of the cabin were not removed.

Many of the rooms are filled with shelves, and the shelves are filled with some large wooden boxes.

It is estimated that if there is no captivity of the Naga mermaid in the bilge, these rooms should be a place to store goods.

Standing in front of the shelves, Roy asked Abt for a dagger and pried open a wooden crate containing a harpoon shaft wrapped in oiled paper wax, each of which was jet-black and shiny, one end riveted with an arrow, and the other with a tail feather.

The metal harpoon shaft was very heavy, apparently prepared by the speargun above the bow of the ship.

There are three rows of shelves in the room, each with four large wooden crates, which look like they are all filled with these metal guns.

Sure enough, it was the ship's warehouse, and Roy went to see the other two cabins, and sure enough, in addition to the barrel of the gun, Roy also found arrowheads with countless wolf tooth barbs, which were actually a foot long.

The tail feathers of these harpoons do not appear to be made of feathers, but rather to be fins, embedded in metal rods, and have loops attached to the hooks at the back......

Roy didn't expect that the elven guards of the harbor didn't go to the bottom of the cabin, they probably thought that the bilge was filled with seawater, and it was impossible to store supplies in the cabin.

I actually kept these brand new harpoons.

The inside and outside of the wooden box are very damp, and each oil paper bag is wet, so it is estimated that you should hurry up and dry it.

Not every bilge is stored in the materials, although the bilges near the staircase are filled with a lot of wooden boxes, but the wooden boxes are empty, and there are obvious traces of being turned over, obviously it should be some elf patrol endured the foul smell of the sea, and went down to the cabin to rummage through a few rooms, probably thinking that the wooden boxes in these rooms are empty, and the back few bilges actually leaked like this.

Abt looked at a dozen boxes of harpoons and whispered to Roy:

"What are we going to do with these things?"

"I'll leave it here first...... If no one mentions it, it's ours. ”

With that, Roy stepped out of the cabin and closed the hatch that had been slightly deformed by the seawater.

In fact, this sea ship has three levels, the bilge is located on the second level below deck, and there is a closed cabin at the bottom. This layer is to ensure that the boat will not capsize even if it is stormy, and the bottom is filled with rocks for counterweights.

Roy walked to a bilge near the stern, where the Naga Killer had opened a hole in the roof of the room and led him into the captain's bedroom to escape the ship through the window.

There was a glimmer of light from the hole in the roof, and the cabin was the most messy, the wooden shelves against the wall had collapsed.

However, when Roy walked away from the collapsed wooden frame, he found that there was still a painting hanging behind the collapsed wooden frame, although the painting on it had been completely soaked by the seawater, but the frame was still there, because the bilge had been filled with seawater for a long time, this frame was about to fall apart, and the left border had been completely separated.

"A lot of the planks here have rotted away, and they will have to be replaced when the bilge is renovated in the future."

As he spoke, Roy reached for the frame on the wall.

Roy didn't expect that he just touched it casually with his hand, and the painting fell apart completely, and it fell down with a 'bang'.

Startled Abt next to him.

Roy walked towards the door, and continued to say:

"The wooden planks on the outside of the hull were burned by fire, and the surface was thickly painted to prevent corrosion and insects. The shelves aren't that sturdy, look......"

Abt dragged the sacred glimmer of light by his hand, and had already walked to the wall, and said to Roy:

"Roy, come and see what this is......"

Roy looked back at Abt and saw the guy standing on the stack of shelves, staring at where the frame had fallen, and there was a not-so-large storage compartment on the wooden wall.

Abt had already reached for the dagger at his waist and pried open the wooden plank sealed outside the storage compartment, revealing a small space.

Abt reached out and fumbled inside, and found a sealed parchment tube from inside, handed it to Roy, and then pulled out a leather bag from it.

The rope of the leather pouch was completely rotten, and Abt carefully held it with both hands before he could take it out, and his eyes were both apprehensive and excited, shining.

"Let's go up to the deck......" Roy felt that the place was a little dim, not suitable for opening the sealing paper tube in his hand.

But whether it is a parchment tube or a leather bag, since it can be hidden in this dark compartment, it must have the value of hiding.

The two of them ran up the stairs one after the other, and when they saw that Jasper was still sitting in a daze, they called him over......

The guy didn't know how long he had been sitting in the bow of the boat, and apparently Tiffany didn't come.

"Where have you two been?"

Jasper asked curiously as he saw the two of them crawling up from the cabin below deck, covered in dirt.

Abt smiled and boasted to Jasper, "We just rechecked the ship's bilge and found these ...... in a dark compartment behind a shelf."

As he spoke, he tore open the leather bag in front of the three of them.

Roy leaned his head over, and it contained half a pocket of walnut-sized black stone, with walnut-like folds on the skin.

I remember that the honorarium given to Jasper by the second deputy Nerev was this kind of black stone.

"Oh my God, it's actually a pocket of magic cores!" Jasper exclaimed, somewhat exaggeratedly, "We've got rich......"

Abt also said with a smile:

"Haha, yesterday I was still worried about where to get some money to repair this big ship, but I didn't expect to find a pocket of magic cores today, Roy, Roy, we sent a ......"

"This thing is valuable?" Roy didn't know much about magic cores.

Abt and Jasper nodded their heads.

Jasper said with a happy face: "Of course, there is a magic crystal hidden in this thing, do you know how many Kohlers can be exchanged for a magic crystal?" ”

Abt immediately chimed in: "One magic crystal can be exchanged for five hundred kollers. ”

Roy looked at most of the demon cores in his pocket, and said with a smack in his mouth, "Wow, that's really worth a lot of money!" ”

"Roy, hurry up and see what's in the tube?" Jasper urged.

Abt, who was sitting on the side, smiled and said, "I hope it's a treasure map with a record of the fortune left to us by the captain of this ship......"

Roy didn't talk nonsense, he directly put the paper tube in his hand on the deck, and picked up Abt's dagger, cut the wax seal on the edge of the paper tube, pried open one end of the paper tube with the tip of a knife, and poured the contents onto the deck.

It was a worn-out parchment roll, with a yellowish surface and some blackening at many edges.

But by the time Roy pulled the parchment open, Abt and Jasper were already raising their hands at the same time, giving out howls of joy.

Because the pattern drawn on the parchment paper is a nautical chart, and it can be qualified to hide it in a paper tube, what else can it be if it is not a treasure?

Roy was also a little excited, and his hands were shaking a little.

It was the first time he had encountered anything like this......

Once the parchment was fully unfolded, a treasure map appeared in front of the trio with great clarity.

In the middle of the treasure map was a half-foot-long golden key, which was in the shape of a standard clover, and at the other end was a golden tube, the walls of which were carved with intricate patterns, which were very deep and delicate.

Roy didn't pick up the golden key, but looked at the somewhat worn parchment chart, the chart was quite complete, but the parchment itself was not square, some islands were hand-drawn on it, and the handwriting was very sloppy, and Roy couldn't understand many things.

"This is a treasure map?" Abt leaned over and asked with some excitement.

"Maybe." Roy said as he pushed the sheepskin treasure map in front of him.

Jasper also came over, still holding the golden key in his hand, and said excitedly:

"In my opinion...... We might as well use this money to repair this ship, and then sail it out to sea in search of this treasure......"

Abt looked at the sea-going ship that was more than sixty meters long and reminded Jasper:

"Even if this big ship is repaired, I don't think the three of us will be able to sail it out of the port, so it's better to find a random flying fish boat on the dock, at least the three of us can drive it."

"Yes, then we'll rent a Flying Fish boat!"

Roy rolled his eyes and reminded the two whimsical trainee priests:

"Two captains, it's the rainy season, and there are often storms at sea, so it should be okay for the Exocet boat to go around the offshore waters, but I'm afraid it won't work if it goes far......"

Abt stared at the parchment chart when he suddenly realized something, pointed to the treasure map and asked Jasper and Roy:

"By the way, do you know where this is?"

Jasper squinted his eyes for a moment, then finally looked up at Roy and asked expectantly:

"Roy, weren't you studying sailing at the Elven Academy? You should know! ”

Roy was speechless and said:

"Two ...... Please note that I have only been taking classes at the Elven Academy for three weeks, and I am still taking elementary martial arts training, the geography of the Elven Continent, and the modern history of the Elves, so I am only sure that this place is definitely not near Castletown Harbour anymore! ”

"Oh......"

Jasper and Abt sat down with disappointed expressions on their faces.
