The list said: The virtue is slim, and Zen Buddhism is extinguished. Pure and clear, circulating in the three realms. Ever-changing, controlling yin and yang. The body is really normal, and it is infinite. Looking at the lonely soul, it is deeply sad. This is according to the holy order of Taizong, the monks are selected to participate in Zen and preach.

Open the door and court, and the boat of mercy will be widely transported, and the sea of suffering will be born, and the six pleasures of sinking will be freed. Bring back to the true road, play Hongmeng; Stop doing nothing and mix it into vegan.

Take advantage of this good fate to invite the Qing capital to be admired; Take advantage of my victory, get out of the hell cage, ascend to Bliss early, and travel to and from the West at ease.

Li Shimin was very satisfied after reading it, and said to the monks: You will stand up to your heart and stop neglecting Buddhist affairs. After the success is complete, everyone will be blessed, and I will be rewarded, and I will never work in vain.

Du Chen and the 1,200 monks thanked him together. After three fasts, Li Shimin drove back to the palace, waited for the seventh day of the meeting, and then came to make incense. After Li Shimin left, the Huasheng Temple returned to calm.

Just when Li Shimin left Huasheng Temple, a bald monk with scabies on his face and ragged clothes came to Chang'an City. The monk held a robe and a nine-ringed tin staff in his hands.

Some monks passing by saw that the robes and tin rods were shining brightly, not like ordinary things. So I went up and asked for the price. This monk with scabies on his face is none other than the Bodhisattva who received the Buddha's decree and came to Chang'an City to visit and learn scriptures, Guanyin Bodhisattva of Putuo Mountain in the South China Sea.

When Guanyin saw that someone was asking for the price, he said: The robe is worth 5,000 taels, and the tin staff is worth 2,000 taels.

The monk passing by smiled and said, "You leper monk is a madman!" These two tattered things are still sold for 7,000 taels of silver, even if you can live forever in this robe, becoming a Buddha and an ancestor is not worth so much silver!

Guanyin Bodhisattva did not argue with him, but put away his robe and tin staff and walked. After a while, Guanyin Bodhisattva came to Donghua Gate, and met the prime minister Xiao Yu scattered and returned, and the Bodhisattva stood in the middle of the road and did not avoid it.

When the prime minister saw the sedan chair stop, he stretched out his head to look. Seeing that the robe was shining, he asked his subordinates to ask for the price. The Bodhisattva said: The robe costs 5,000 taels, and the tin staff costs 2,000 taels.

Xiao Yu said: What is the use of these two things, they are worth so much? The Bodhisattva said: If you wear my robe, you will not sink into hell, you will not suffer from vicious suffering, and you will not encounter the disaster of tigers and wolves.

If you are a foolish monk who is greedy for lust and pleasure, a monk who does not fast or fast, or an ordinary man who slanders the scriptures and slanders the Buddha, it is difficult to see the face of my robe, this is the benefit.

The prime minister asked, "Then why do you want money?" The Bodhisattva said: If you don't follow the Dharma, don't respect the Three Jewels, and forcibly buy a robe and a tin staff, you will definitely sell him for 7,000 taels, which is asking for money.

If you respect the Three Jewels, rejoice in the goodness, take refuge in my Buddha, and can afford it, I will give him a robe and a tin rod and a good relationship with me, and this is no money.

When Xiao Yu heard this, he added spring color and knew that he was a good person. Even if you dismount, you will meet the Bodhisattva with a salute. Verbal Title: Elder Dafa, forgive me for Xiao Yu's sins.

My Tang Emperor is very good, and the civil and military affairs of the Manchu Dynasty are all followed. Now the 'water and land conference' will be built, and this robe is just worn by Master Chen Xuanzang in most of the capital. I'll go with you to the court.

The Bodhisattva readily agreed, and followed Xiao Yu into the palace to meet the saint. After passing the rumor that Xiao Yu and the Bodhisattva came to the imperial study, Li Shimin saw that Xiao Yu brought a monk with scabies on his face, so he asked Xiao Yu what happened when he entered the palace?

Xiao Yu leaned over and said: Your Majesty, the minister met this monk selling robes and tin rods in Donghua Gate, and Master Chen Sixuanzang could wear this robe, so he brought the monk to face the saint.

Li Shimin was overjoyed and said: What is the value of these two things? The Bodhisattva did not bow and replied, "Five thousand taels for a robe and two thousand taels for a tin staff."

Li Shimin frowned and asked: What are the benefits of this robe? Is it worth so much?

Bodhisattva said: This robe dragon is draped with a wisp, so as not to be devoured by the roc, and the crane hangs a trace of extraordinary sanctification. But everywhere you do, there are all gods to salute, and there are seven Buddhas with you for every action.

Then Guanyin Bodhisattva babbled a bunch of words, blowing this robe into the sky. Li Shimin was very happy to hear this, and asked again: "What good is the monk, what is the benefit of this nine-ring tin staff?"

Bodhisattva said: My tin staff is: copper inlaid with iron to make nine rings, nine immortal vines forever in the face. Start tired of looking at the green bones, go down the mountain and take the white clouds lightly, the five ancestors of Moha travel to the sky, and Luo Bu Xunniang breaks the ground. Do not stain the red dust and filth, and like to accompany the monks to the Jade Mountain.

Li Shimin was overjoyed after hearing this, these two things were simply tailor-made for Xuanzang. He wanted to buy a robe and a tin staff immediately, but the monk wanted to give it to Li Shimin.

Li Shimin frowned and said: I used to sell the first two lines of silver, but now I want to give them to me. Aren't you afraid that I will take the throne and force your objects?

Monk said: The poor monk has a wish in front, and he said that he respects the Three Jewels, rejoices when he sees goodness, takes refuge in my Buddha, does not want money, and is willing to give it to him. Today, I see that Your Majesty is virtuous and good, respects my Buddhism, and is a high-ranking monk who is virtuous and virtuous, preaching Dafa, and should be offered, and never want money.

Li Shimin was overjoyed when he heard this, and then ordered Guanglu Temple to prepare a vegetarian banquet to thank the monk. The monk resolutely refused and went freely.

Li Shimin ordered someone to spread the word and let Master Xuanzang enter the palace to face the saint. Du Chen received the message and sighed in his heart: How to explain it to the future father-in-law? Although there is no way, I dare not slack off. Get up and rush to the palace.

Du Chen came to the palace and saw Li Shimin in the imperial study. Li Shimin sent his subordinates back and let Du Chen sit down. He didn't speak, he kept looking at Du Chen.

After a few breaths, Du Chen couldn't stand Li Shimin's gaze and said: "Brother Huang, I know that you have many doubts in your heart, but I can only tell you that I became a monk out of necessity.

Li Shimin said: What if one day, you meet Lizhen?

Du Chen said: I believe that one day, I already have the ability to do what I am willing to do. Li Shimin looked at Du Chen's firm eyes for a long time, nodded and said: I believe in you, since I saw you for the first time, I know that you are not an ordinary person.

After speaking, Li Shimin took out two things from behind him, and saw a robe and a nine-ring tin staff. Sent it to Du Chen and said, "Today, I saw a monk selling these two things, and I felt that they were particularly suitable for you, so I bought them and prepared to give them to you to wear on the day of the water and land puja.

Who would have thought that the monk didn't want money, do you say that these two objects are related to you!

Du Chen took the robe and tin staff and looked at it carefully, looked at it for a long time, looked up and said: The person who sold this brocade robe and the nine-ring tin staff is a tattered monk with scabies on his face?

Li Shimin said strangely: You were not present, how do you know which monk sold this robe and tin staff?

Du Chen said: Sure enough, it was her, and then said to Li Shimin: The monk with scabies on his face is none other than Guanyin Bodhisattva of Putuo Mountain in the South China Sea!

Li Shimin was taken aback and said: It turned out to be this great god!
