Chapter 63 Just Stay and Cooperate
"Call all of our people, I'm going to let Wayne Group know what it means to be awesome!"
The penguins roared loudly, but their voices were extremely high-pitched, and their stocky bodies trembled slightly.
He kept knocking on the table in front of him with his umbrella weapon in his hand, looking like a king wanted to punish those who violated him, but the cold sweat on his forehead betrayed his true thoughts.
The Penguins, the Romans, or the other gangsters had nothing to do with the Wayne Syndicate.
If Dick had been determined to shut down Gotham's current public project, they wouldn't have blown up Wayne Tower.
The Wayne Group is a multinational financial entity, and national borders mean nothing to them, and they have only stayed here because the United States can protect their assets and Bruce Wayne's own sense of purpose.
If someone else had moved the company to a sunny city - Metropolis, they wouldn't care what Gotham was rotting about.
The penguin-man's eyes were reflected in the gold-encrusted one-sided glasses, and he gripped the handle of the umbrella and jerked it into the air.
"Don't let me catch the guy who gave those little birds ideas."
The penguin waited for his men to gather, and he kept pouring whiskey into his mouth and using alcohol to keep himself calm.
He seemed to have returned to his youth, when he was still a minion, and every time he killed someone, he had to numb himself with alcohol.
Bang!
Crash!
The penguin heard the sound of a fight coming from downstairs, and he got up from his chair and walked quickly out of the office.
A Robin swung a steel rod at her.
Robin swung the stick with great force, almost with all his might.
The penguin man rolled on the spot, taking advantage of his small stature, dodging the oncoming stick and pulling the trigger of the umbrella in his hand, which fired a barrage of bullets from the end of the umbrella.
Robin tried to dodge, but he apparently didn't outrun the speed of the bullet or even anticipate the penguin's movements.
He wielded his cloak, trying to use the special compound Lucius had developed to weaken the bullet and retreat into a wider space.
But the Penguin and Batman have faced off many times, and he is too familiar with this set, and he presses step by step, not giving Robin a chance to perform other moves at all.
Robin kept capturing the Penguin Man, a small man who moved nimble through the hallways.
In order to vent his anger, the penguin man did not even use a firearm, but instead used the blade at the end of the umbrella, constantly leaving scars on Robin's body.
"Oh, poor birdie, what about the Batman who raised you?"
Copote's heart was so happy that he sneered, "Oh, I forgot, he's dead." β
"Boy, I'm going to teach you a lesson right now. Don't mess with the Copotes in Gotham. β
"Die!"
The penguin man stepped forward and stabbed Robin, slashing him with a backhand, slicing his wrist, and then holding an umbrella from top to bottom to try to pierce him in the jaw.
Seeing that Robin was about to be pierced through the throat by a sharp blade coming out of the end of the umbrella, a flash of lightning flashed.
The gray wolf made a shining appearance, and a yellow lightning bolt erupted from the penguin's feet, revealing all his electric bones.
"That's what you call the penguin?"
The gray wolf turned around and poked the penguin man who was only breathing with his umbrella, and said disappointedly, "I thought this guy was a real penguin?" Boring. β
"Thank you, Big Wolf!" Tim took out the first aid device from his belt and treated his wound briefly.
"No thanks, the human body is much more fragile than I thought."
Since he has come to the human world, of course the gray wolf should take a good stroll.
So he agreed to Dick's request and took Tim to raid the Iceberg Restaurant, but he didn't expect that humans were so fragile, even if he didn't use the Spirit Gathering Staff, he could fight ten at a time in his normal state, effortlessly.
There are no more people standing in the Iceberg Hotel.
Tim was reassuring to deal with his wounds, and asked in a daze, "Big Big Wolf, what do you think the physical fitness of humans should be?" β
"Same as Ian?" Big Big Wolf rightly thinks so.
"Ian isn't an ordinary human anyway, is he?" Tim couldn't help but complain when he thought of the scene where Ian turned into an Iron Fist Tiger and pressed Bane's hammer blast.
"Perhaps!" The gray wolf waved the spirit gathering staff in his hand, feeling a little bored: "The human city is far worse than the green grassland, dirty and messy. We're still going to do it quickly, who's going to be next? β
"Let's go find the Two-Face!"
Tim reluctantly wanted to keep going.
The gray wolf couldn't stand it, so he took out the bandage and rebandaged him, stopping his pain.
"Your fighter is too bad, follow the gray wolf king, I will learn hard!"
β¦β¦
In the Bat Cave, Ian holds a carving knife and carves the gems into fixed parts according to the drawings given by Xue Feifei.
Rachel's spirit has been in a trance since last night, and she leans close to Ian to sleep peacefully under the light of the millet.
γDing! Your plan succeeded in preventing Gotham from falling into total chaos. γ
[Reward a chance to win a type of directional lottery!] γ
Ian suddenly received a reminder from the system, and the carving knife in his hand stopped.
"So soon, the villains who are unwilling to change their minds are willing to cooperate?"
Of course he was confident in his plan, but the unexpected result came so quickly.
"Master Ian, our plan has succeeded!"
Alfred's voice was soft, his steps were lighter, and he looked lovingly at Rachel, who was sleeping, and walked to Ian's side.
"Penguin, those guys just compromised? Didn't they try to use violence to defend their interests? β
Ian put down the crow-shaped hedron necklace in his hand, the necklace was almost already formed, and all it took was a little alchemy and a small embellishment of the magic circle to complete.
"Of course they don't just do that. But Master Dick and they raided the headquarters of these people this time, and without manpower, they could only beg for mercy. β
Dick and his party returned to the Batcave in triumph.
Big Wolf sat next to Ian and immediately stuck out his tongue, and Gotham was disappointed in the city.
Dick noticed Rachel and lowered his voice, "Ian, thank you for your plan. Otherwise, Gotham doesn't know what to become. β
"I'm just suggesting a direction." Ian carved the last magic circle into the Raven Gem and gave Dick a copy of the papers he had put together.
"Without the framework that Batman has painstakingly built over the past decade or so, our plan would have been so easy to succeed."
Dick flipped through the file and saw that Batman, or Bruce Wayne, had prepared a comprehensive improvement plan for Gotham's future involving political economy, and had already practiced a lot.
"He never told me about it."
Ian lowered his head: "Savior plot, Batman feels that he should bear all the difficulties alone, so that you only need to enjoy the fruits of victory." β
"It's definitely going to fail, and not even Batman can do it alone."
"It's something Bruce can do."
Dick, Tim, and Alfred all had wry smiles on their faces.
Ian carved the final lines on the hedron and placed it in the alchemical formation that had been prepared.
"So you should seize this opportunity to figure out the framework that Batman has built over the last decade, and see how you can make it better."
Dick closed the file, looked at Ian and asked, "It sounds like you don't care that much about Batman's plans." β
"I'm not from Gotham, and I have no intention of settling down."
Ian picked up the hedron that had been defended and replied, "This isn't my city, and I have no feelings for him, so let's just keep working together." β
