Chapter Eighty-Three: Confused

"What nonsense are you talking about, Harry!" Before Amosta could speak, Hermione shouted anxiously, "Get out of the way, Harry, Professor Bryan can deal with this basilisk!" ”

Amosta touched her nose and looked at Hermione amusedly, it seemed that she had shown some strength in front of the little witch, and she seemed to be very confident in herself.

Hermione's reminder stunned Harry for a moment, and then, he immediately came to his senses, and with the sword with the dazzling egg-sized ruby on the hilt, he crawled out of range of the basilisk that had fallen into madness.

"Phew--, Professor Bryan, save Ron and Ginny, they're still alive!"

Realizing that the most powerful professor in the house was standing in front of him besides Headmaster Dumbledore, Harry felt his strength leave his body as quickly as if he had been pulled away by magic, and just as he was about to collapse, Hermione quickly held him up.

"Don't worry, Potter, no one will die here tonight--"

Sensing that there was still a faint vitality in Ginny's body, Amosta was also slightly relieved, he stared at the sword in Harry's hand, and suddenly remembered a legendary magic item belonging to Godric Gryffindor, he took a deep breath and hesitated to ask,

"Potter, this sword is..."

"Fox brought me the Sorting Hat--"

Harry gasped,

"I found this sword in the Sorting Hat, phew..., it must have been placed in it by Headmaster Dumbledore, it suddenly fell out and hit me in the head!"

Amosta nodded knowingly, roughly restoring the truth of the matter from Harry's upside-down statement, and although he was very curious about this prestigious weapon, he also knew that now was not a good time to study.

"Get out of there, Fawkes, don't get caught up in my spell--"

While the three of them had briefly communicated, Dumbledore's phoenix was still fighting the basilisk in mid-air, but after hearing Amosta's instructions, Fawkes let out a very spiritual cry, and after a nimbly drifting in mid-air, leaving a colorful light and shadow, it flew straight towards Ron, who had fallen to the ground, and lowered its head to stare at the torn wound on Ron's arm.

Boom!

Harry and Hermione saw Professor Bryan waving his wand lightly, and then several large pieces of gravel on the ground silently turned into metal spears as thick as several oak trees, and the dark spears cut through the air, creating an impenetrable, huge cage between the lightning and flint, trapping the massive basilisk in it!

Boom-boom!

The basilisk frantically slammed into the metal cage's barriers, and as it struggled desperately, the earth shook like an earthquake, and rocks rained down, but they were all blocked by the white barrier of magic that shrouded Amosta's body, and not a single speck of dust fell on them.

Staring at the basilisk that seemed to disappoint his fate and make a lot of noise, Amosta's brow moved, and he circled his wrist again, and a flash of light flashed above the frame of the metal cage.

Disheveled!

This time, the basilisk didn't dare to hit the barrier so unscrupulously!

Because, every time its hard scale armor touches the cage, the seemingly cold and gloomy spear will suddenly burst into golden flames, this kind of demonic fire born of fierce fire has unimaginable high temperature and the ability to disintegrate the magic resistance, the basilisk with infinite physical strength only took a few hits, and it didn't take long for it to crawl on the ground like a gossamer, curling up its huge body into a circle, and never daring to move again!

Is this the strength of someone who had the strength to compete with Headmaster Dumbledore when he was in his fifth year?!

Harry watched in amazement, unable to believe that with the cooperation of Dumbledore's phoenix, the basilisk that he had almost failed to subdue in the fight for his life had been so easily imprisoned by Professor Bryan.

"Ron!"

Hermione, who had already thought in her mind, walked out of the shock before Harry, and when she saw the basilisk trapped, she couldn't hold back the anxiety in her heart anymore, and tears flew all the way to Ron's side.

"Professor Blaine, this bird... It's crying! Hermione sobbed, "Is Ron already..."

Harry's body shook, his face turned pale for a moment, he stared at Ron, who was still prostrate on the ground and whispered, his lips trembled, no matter what, he didn't want to believe that Ron was dead!

"You two don't have to worry--"

Amosta walked over quickly, he turned the bloodless Ron over, and carefully examined the blackened flesh on Ron's arm as it rose from the tears of the phoenix.

"Fawkes is a phoenix, and the tears of the phoenix are very powerful in healing, but..."

Amosta turned her gaze to Ginny, whose chest was only faintly heaving,

"Miss Weasley's condition is probably worse, she is in dire need of professional and effective treatment right now, and you two had better escort them to the school hospital to Madam Pomfrey now."

When he heard that Ron and Ginny were still alive, Harry gasped as if he had been fished out of the water, and in a matter of seconds, he left more cold sweat than he had just fought with the basilisk.

Amosta conjured two stretchers and controlled Ron and Ginny's bodies to float up, and then, looking at Hermione, who still had tears in her eyes,

"I'm here to watch this basilisk, you two can go and inform Professor McGonagall of what happened here after you get Ginny and Ron to the school hospital, I think she'll faint in fear when she finds out that the four little wizards are missing from the school at once."

"But--"

Hermione naturally didn't have any problem with Professor Bryan's arrangement, she just remembered the pipeline that could be miles long.

"How do we get back, Professor, we can't get through that pipe!"

Fawkes stood on Ron's chest and let out a cry, but Amosta shook his head at it,

"Don't bother you, Fawkes, I'd like you to inform Headmaster Dumbledore if you can, I'm sorry I think his 'vacation time' has to be cancelled!"

Fawkes tilted its head and looked at Amosta with its jewel-like eyes, and after a moment, it nodded humanly and disappeared into the chamber in a burst of exploding fire.

"So, it's the two of you'll have your turn--"

Amosta waved his wand at Harry, and in a sudden wind, Harry found himself transformed into an illusory shadow and drifted uncontrollably towards the entrance to the chamber.

"Professor Brian—"

By the time Harry reacted, he was already on the side of the entrance to the chamber, and he anxiously looked at Professor Bryan who was quickly away from sight, and shouted,

"Watch out for Voldemort, it's..."

Amosta breathed a long sigh of relief, turned around and faced the ground coiled in a heap, and the dying basilisk smiled happily, it's not easy, it took so long, stayed up so long and stayed up so long, and this basilisk finally fell into his hands!

The ancient creature of the basilisk can usually survive for hundreds of years, but the one in front of me has lived for more than a thousand years and still maintains such vigorous vitality, I think Slytherin must have carried out many mysterious and complex transformation experiments on its body!

Amosta paced to the front of the cage, staring at the basilisk's bleeding eyes and smacking his lips in dissatisfaction, hoping that when Kakus 'inspected' the goods, he wouldn't find fault and deduct his commission.

"It seems--"

Just as Amosta was about to change the huge size of the basilisk, behind the pillar behind him, a young, polite voice suddenly sounded,

"You seem to like it very much, Professor Blaine, I inherited this basilisk from my great ancestor, and if you don't mind, I can give it to you!"

"Confused--"

Without a hint of surprise, Amosta smiled and turned to look at Tom Riddle, who was black-haired, tall, standing against a stone pillar and dressed as a student.

"Kill you, this basilisk is mine too!"
