Chapter 183: The Wind and Rain Are Coming

Sirius Black's escape from prison hung over the heads of the vast majority of the inhabitants of the wizarding world like a sword of Damocles, causing great trouble in their daily work lives, especially for Harry.

In the first week of school, when Black escaped from the Ministry of Magic again, Hermione, who had been in trouble with Ron for a while because of Blob's affairs, always found a reminder not to take any risks, and even Hagrid forbade him to go to him after dark.

It was still raging outside, and there was indeed a pure starry sky on the dome of the Great Hall, and Harry turned over, not much fear in his heart, but a sense of relief that his mid-air boots had finally landed.

Hermione was educating the big guys about why Black couldn't get into Hogwarts by apparition and flying, and Ron's brother, Percy, who had been promoted to president of the student council this year, was hurrying past the rows of sleeping bags and ordering the little wizards who were chattering and talking about it to shut up and sleep.

The professors were busy searching the castle, and every hour, one of them hurried back to the Great Hall to make sure nothing was going on.

At eleven o'clock in the evening, Professor Flitwick returned to the Great Hall after inspecting the Ravenclaw dormitory, and after making sure that it was still safe, Professor Flitwick did not leave immediately, but trotted over to a group of Ravenclaw students, crouched down and said something to a little wizard.

The curious Harry raised his head slightly to look over there, and after a few glances, he saw that it was a Ravenclaw girl who was crying quietly because she was frightened, and Professor Flitwick had come down to comfort her.

The little witch looked older than they were, with a gentle oriental face, and was very pretty, so Harry raised his head higher and looked at it a few more times...

The professors went in and out of the auditorium, but Professor Lupin was never seen... When we met during the day, Professor Lupin told him that he would not attend the Halloween dinner, but that he would be going to Hogsmeade to spend the holiday with a friend, but it stands to reason that Professor Lupin should be back as well.

After a short while, Dumbledore, who had also gone to inspect the castle, walked in with a serious expression, his grim gaze roaming around, and he spotted Percy patrolling near Harry and them, so he quickly approached this way.

"Professor, do you have any clues about him?" Percy asked quietly.

"No, what about here?"

"All is fine, sir." Percy replied earnestly.

While Dumbledore and Percy were exchanging some information, the door to the Great Hall creaked open, and a grim-faced Snape hurried in, bringing the same information that had been found nothing.

"Have you ever thought about how he got in, Headmaster Dumbledore?"

Percy was sent away, and Harry was sleeping on his side, one of his ears looking like it was on a pillow, but it was actually levitating, and Hermione, Ron, and Dean were basically in the same situation.

Professor Snape's expression was no different from his usual expression, but there was a clear glint in his dark eyes.

"There are many possibilities, but each one doesn't stand up to scrutiny, Severus," Dumbledore's voice was very deep, and he said condescendingly, looking at Snape with a blank face,

"Of course, if you have any brilliant opinions, I'd love to hear them."

The fire in Snape's eyes suddenly dissipated, and in its place was a deep resentment,

"It's a trivial insight, Headmaster Dumbledore, and, before school started, when you decided to hire that person, I told you frankly about the possibility, and the current situation seems to confirm my suspicions, right?"

Dumbledore glanced at the little ones on the ground who were pretending to be asleep, and there was a stern warning in his blue eyes shining from behind the half-moon frames,

"With all due respect, Severus, I don't see any connection between the current state of affairs and the kind of thing you have mentioned."

Dumbledore's tone made it clear that he wanted the topic to come to an end, but that didn't work, and instead angered Snape completely.

The dull yellow cheeks flushed in a few breaths, Snape's thin lips tightened, and the anger that lingered around him made Harry's skin tense even a few times outside his body.

"It's tonight!"

Snape gritted his teeth and said,

"As soon as he left, Black broke into the castle, do you think it's just a coincidence, Dumbledore?"

The atmosphere became very tense, many young wizards unconsciously twisted their bodies due to uneasiness, and Snape's appearance made many young wizards who were eavesdropping even worry that he would directly take out his wand and fight with Headmaster Dumbledore in the Great Hall.

"He's going to spend Halloween with his friends, huh?"

Snape pressed closely,

"Did you ask him who his friend was, Dumbledore, and if I want me to say, it must be an old friend!"

Strangely, in the face of Snape's questioning, Dumbledore did not order him to stop, but his eyes showed a strange light, and his silver eyebrows moved, as if he was thinking about something.

"If you're really curious, Severus--"

After a long time, Dumbledore, who suddenly realized that Blake's invasion of Hogwarts Castle was a very good opportunity,

"We might as well go and check it out now, I don't think Blake will be in the castle anyway."

Snape's eyebrows furrowed, and he stared at Dumbledore in disbelief, suddenly a little confused about what the hell this was doing.

"Come on, Severus, Fawkes will give us a ride."

Once he had made up his mind, Dumbledore became resolute, giving Professor McGonagall a command as he came down from the upper floor, and after throwing a word to Snape, he walked up the stairs with a vigorous stride.

...........

A worried Professor McGonagall walked over to the side where the Slytherin students were sleeping, and Harrimari, who had been holding back for a long time, turned around, his green eyes full of confusion.

"Harry!"

Ron arched over like a Flober caterpillar, and Neville, who had been kicked by Hermione, reluctantly moved out of his place.

"Snape suspects that Professor Lupin helped Blake, right, but how is that possible, what evidence does he have for that!"

Ron's rapidly blinking eyes were enough to justify his surprise.

Although the relationship with Ron has not eased much, but hearing this, Hermione still impatiently gave her opinion,

"Obviously, Ron, we know from the conversation between the two of them that Professor Lupin knew Blake..., which is not unusual, if Professor Lupin and Blake are about the same age, then it is very likely that they studied at Hogwarts together, and Professor Snape probably was in school at that time, and they both knew each other!"

"Thank you, if it weren't for your reminder, I almost wouldn't have reacted!"

Ron glared at Hermione and said unceremoniously.

"But what does that mean, Hermione?"

Although he was a little embarrassed about the fact that Professor Lupin and Blake were classmates, Harry couldn't help but defend Lupin, and he lowered his voice

"Hagrid was a classmate of Voldemort!"

"But the point is,"

Hermione didn't look at Ron's provocative eyes, she said solemnly to Harry,

"From Professor Snape's words, we know that Blake probably had a good relationship with Professor Lupin in the past, but later..., I guess, it was probably because Blake took refuge with the mysterious man that Professor Lupin parted ways with him... But because of this, Professor Snape could not trust Professor Lupin. ”

"Snape should go back to his dorm room and take a good look in the mirror," Harry sneered, "maybe he was more intimate with Voldemort than Blake!" ”

It's been two months since the start of school, and it's obvious what kind of person Professor Lupin is compared to the annoying Snape, most of the young wizards think that Snape is just playing on the spot, that Snape just resents Lupin for stealing the seat he wants, and no one really thinks that Professor Lupin will be a traitor who helped Blake get into Hogwarts.

"But--"

Ending the discussion, Harry faced the mysterious starry sky and muttered in a voice that he could only hear,

"Who the hell did Professor Lupin go to see?"
