Chapter 254: Malfoy Targeted

Back in early November.

The majestic rain shook the world, the huge black lake trembled in the waves set off by the wind, and in the deep and bottomless water, a huge black shadow was restless by the turbulent lake, it shook its tentacles full of huge suction cups, and smashed into the dark green rocks from time to time, causing the Slytherin common room next to the black lake to shake from time to time.

"This ugly big brute is losing his temper again!"

Daphne cast a cold look at the squid raging outside the glass window.

The little wizards of the other three houses would definitely tremble with excitement if they had the opportunity to see the legendary giant squid in the Black Lake, but for the students of Slytherin House, this was just a daily scene, and whenever the lake was in waves, this big guy would always lose his temper because he was disturbed to sleep.

It was now around twelve o'clock in the afternoon, and there weren't many students in the Slytherin common room, filled with green lights, and most of the people here were sitting around the beautifully carved fireplace, continuing the conversation of last night, talking in awe about the accident that happened yesterday's Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff.

"I can't figure out why Draco did that, he hated that stupid boy Potter so much."

Pansy Parkinson looked haggard and sad.

"It's really puzzling--"

Outside the window, the squid spotted a group of unfortunate Grindylows passing by, and spat out a series of bubbles large enough to fit Hagrid in, wielding its tentacles as whips and whipped the hapless monsters around.

Daphne was bored by this scene, and she withdrew her gaze and patted Pansy on the shoulder,

"In every sense of the word, Draco's actions can be regarded as a betrayal, if it weren't for his self-assertive behavior, we would never have lost to the stupid and reckless lions of Gryffindor, and we should be the ones who should be in the limelight in front of Professor Bryne!"

"I don't want you to say that about Draco, Daphne!"

To Daphne's surprise, Pansy didn't feel relieved or anything because of her words, but pointed at her with a sharp gaze and said domineeringly,

"And you're not qualified, Daphne, don't forget, your family still has a lot of business to rely on the Malfoy family's support to survive, you should show some respect to Draco!"

After an awkward silence, Daphne nodded unwillingly,

"You're right, Pansy--"

She first agreed with Pansy's truth, but then she changed her tone and said,

"But I have to say to you, Pansy, most of us--- I mean Theodore, Blaise, Millicent, we have come to a consensus that we have to make Draco pay for his betrayal, and we won't be involved in cleaning the owl shack today, unless—"

"Unless anything, Daphne?"

Before Pansy could express her anger at Daphne's words, a cold voice suddenly came from behind them, causing Daphne and Percy to change color in unison.

It was Draco Malfoy and his two loyal supporters, Crabbe and Goyle.

In the current wizarding world, except for a limited number of sacred pure-blood families with prominent status in the Ministry of Magic, the Malfoy family, which has amazing wealth, is probably the most powerful and influential one, and in the face of the anger of the heir of such an important family, Daphne and Pansy are a little worried.

Before Daphne could explain what he had just said, Draco stared at Daphne indifferently with his chin high, and his tone was very contemptuous,

"Do you need me to apologize to you, huh, Daphne?"

"Shouldn't you explain, Draco?"

Daphne couldn't be presumptuous in front of Draco, she held back her anger, her eyes pointed to the ground, and explained a little unconvinced,

"You've failed everyone, Theodore and I, along with Brace and Millicent, have worked so hard to help Slytherin buy time, but you're spending your energy saving Silly Potter--"

"I don't have to explain anything to you, Daphne--"

Draco said unceremoniously, but when he saw the sad Pansy, his expression did waver a little, and after a brief hesitation, he said with a straight face,

"But now that you're all on the same page, well, I'll deal with that flat-haired brute's shed--"

"I can help too, Draco."

Pansy didn't hesitate, she stared at the domineering Draco Malfoy with fascination, and said obsessively.

"No, Pansy, I'm not short of support."

Draco gave his thumb and nodded at Crabbe and Goyle, who were standing behind him, and after simply dropping out the words, he turned around and left.

Gryffindor lost the match against Hufflepuff, and the weak and incompetent Potter fell from the sky because of the Dementors, and it is said that even his Light Wheel 2000 was turned into a pile of debris, and Professor Bryan went into a big way, and directly imprisoned the Dementors sent by the Ministry of Magic to the Hogwarts Handle School.

These things were supposed to make Draco happy and excited, but some of Daphne's stupid words just now completely ruined his mood, but he couldn't find any suitable reason to explain his actions, he couldn't tell them that he had a little bit of a favor for Potter in the first half of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.

If so, Draco could be sure that he would be a complete laughing stock in Slytherin in the future.

It was time for lunch, and the air in the Great Hall was filled with the rich aroma of food, and as they passed through the foyer, Crabbe and Goyle stared at the long table that seemed to glow with delicious food, and their mouths drooled.

"Can we go over and get something to eat, Draco--" Goyle said grimly, "we're too hungry to walk." ”

"It's hard work to disturb hygiene, Draco," Crabbe begged quietly, "we're going to starve." ”

"Do you think I'm going to spend most of my day in that stinking stone house, Crabbe, Goyle?"

Draco's face turned blue and rebuked

"I'm going to go around and give Professor Brian an an explanation and I'll be back, hurry up and go, we can come back for lunch in time!"

The three hurried their way up to the West Tower and stopped outside the shed.

When he opened the door, a strong smell of bird droppings greeted him, causing Malfoy to gause.

Malfoy, the owl shack, came over often, but it wasn't until he really needed to clean up the stone house that he realized it was a foul smell.

Crabbe and Goyle were self-conscious, and as soon as they entered the house, they went to the corner of the cobweb-covered shack where brooms and other cleaning tools were placed, and rolled up their sleeves to get ready for a big job.

"Put down those stupid guys in your hands--"

Seeing that Crabbe and Goyle looked at a loss, Malfoy was even more angry, he raised his foot, and looked at the bird droppings and undigested rat bones on the soles of his feet with disgust.

"Do you have wands in your pockets?"

"But we don't have those cleaning spells, Draco--"

Crabbe and Goyle looked at each other and said in a simple voice.

"Then do whatever you want,"

Draco pulled his wand out of his pocket and said impatiently, "Anyway, just let people know we're here!" ”

Well, with Draco's orders, Crabbe and Goyle finally found their way, and when Malfoy stepped back to the threshold, the two of them began to flick their wands around the room, sluggishly like trolls scurrying around with sticks.

Crabbe seemed to want his wand to spew some water to clean the floor, but somehow, a small orange flame erupted from the tip of the wand, and with a thud, the flame leaped into the air and blew away an owl's tail hair!

Now they had stabbed the hornet's nest, and the owls, who were resting on the elevated perch, were furious, and they spread their wings and took off, and a few owls swooped over the heads of Crabbe and Goyle, pecking their heads with their sharp beaks, while most of the owls were stuck in mid-air.

Syllable!

Standing at the door watching the bustle, Malfoy suddenly felt a touch of warmth between his lips, and subconsciously, he wiped it with his hand and put it in front of his eyes to check, only to see a sticky gray-brown indescribable thing.

"You... You guys..."

In an instant, a thunderous Malfoy pulled out his wand and jumped into the room, roaring at the restless owls,

"Brutes, I'm going to give you some color to see!!" ŴŴŴ.
