Chapter 298: White Heat
Out of nowhere, a burst of green light swept through Harry's eyes, and little by little, under the horrified gaze of everyone, he approached Sirius, who was stiff!
Between life and death, Harry, who was closest to Sirius, couldn't react because he was in big trouble himself—it was like a burning hot soldering iron forced against his scar, and the violent burning sensation and the screams of the woman that suddenly surged in his head made Harry faint for a while, and his body went limp uncontrollably.
Snape was the only one who could have saved Sirius, however, his attention was drawn to the fallen Harry for a moment and he missed the perfect moment to make a move.
Remus's eyes were in despair, and Sirius, who faced the scythe of death, had a sense of relief in his gray eyes after a long journey.
James, Lily. I'm sorry, I haven't been able to avenge you, and Regulus, forgive me, I haven't had time to throw you a decent funeral and Harry, I haven't been able to do my duty as a godfather-
At the last moment of his life, Crystal slipped from the corner of Sirius' eye
Syllable!
Rocks splash and green light dissipates!
Just when the light of the Destiny Curse was still five feet away from Sirius, the Grim Reaper was about to drop its scythe, and a stone wall suddenly grew on the soft ground, and at the same time, it blocked the incoming Destiny Curse and flew the two werewolves that were biting Sirius.
The chaotic battlefield was silent for a while, and everyone couldn't figure out how the scene just happened just now.
"You saved me?"
Sirius shook off the werewolf that had bitten his other two paws, stood up and gasped, he looked around and saw Snape's wand pointed at him, and after a little silence, he nodded at Snape.
"It's not me—"
Snape gritted his teeth and said that he was not uncommon to take the credit.
However, his self-defense was taken as modesty, as several adult wizards here were aware of Snape's old feud with Sirius, and they all thought that Snape was just embarrassed.
"Anyway, Severus—"
Remus gasped and patted Professor Snape on the shoulder and said gratefully
"Thank you for saving Sirius."
Snape couldn't get Remus to clap his hands for a moment, but when he heard Remus's words of thanks, his face darkened as if he had been insulted by something.
Who put that life-requisitioning spell just now?
The thought crossed everyone's minds, and they had almost the same answer.
But those mad werewolves didn't care about this, and under the blessing of the magic of the upcoming full moon, one werewolf after another fell into a madness, in all directions, and the werewolves rushing towards them at the same time almost formed a high wall.
"Don't stand stupidly, rush out!"
Hagrid roared and drove a path for them, but he himself was in prison, and several werewolves hung on Hagrid's body and bit at him, which also aroused Hagrid's ferocity, and after a dragon-like roar, Hagrid grabbed the throats of the two werewolves with both hands, and used them as weapons to kill them in all directions!
"Let's go!"
Snape tossed Sirius' wand to him, and then, after holding the dazed Harry under his armpit, he violently pushed the bewildered Hermione.
At this critical juncture, Remus finally began to kill his hand, he swung his wand sharply, the tip of the wand shone one one after another, and the three blue spell lights that swished exploded in the chests of several werewolves, who were knocked into the sky and wailed, and then fell back to the ground without a sound.
"Shameful traitor!"
Greyback let out an earth-shattering roar, his thick limbs clasped the ground, and in the next second, Greyback turned into a phantom, smashed the Remus iron armor with a click, and rolled directly with Remus, rushing out of the camp of the guards Harry.
"Remus!"
Sirius screamed and rushed to save Remus, but he himself was the main target of the werewolves, and he was overwhelmed by the constant stream of werewolves rushing up.
Roar!
Harry bet he wouldn't forget the next scene he saw!
There was a terrible roar, and Lupin's head was elongated, his body was lengthened, his shoulders arched, hairs grew on his face and hands, and his fingers completed their claws. Professor Lupin stood on two feet like a bear, he and Greyback were entangled with each other, their mouths biting each other, and each time their claws flicked, they brought out a string of bright red crystals from their opponents!
Harry stood there in despair, forgetting to move.
"But--"
Hermione was still able to maintain her basic sanity, she looked at the moon in the sky with a sweaty head, and her voice was shrill and scary,
"It's not a full moon today, if I'm not mistaken!"
"The virus in Greyback's teeth has ruined the balance of magic in his body!"
Snape's voice came almost from between his teeth, his greasy hair soaked with sweat and wisps against his cheeks, his wand almost waving an afterimage, and every time it fell, a few werewolves were torn apart, or knocked back by an impregnable barrier.
The occasional roar seemed to burst a person's eardrums, and the werewolf's dying whimpering and wailing were more terrifying than anything Harry had ever heard, and now he finally understood why even Professor Blaine's bold teaching style didn't dare to let a junior wizard deal with a werewolf!
So far, both sides have killed red eyes.
It turned out that Greyback had given orders to his subordinates not to allow them to join the Hogwarts Wizards, but at this point, the werewolves had lost their minds, and his orders were not so useful.
"Get down, Harry!"
Sirius leapt to his feet, stepping on the shoulders of a werewolf from twenty feet away, slamming over the distance and throwing Harry to the ground, the two of them tumbling on the ground a few times before hitting the lower half of a werewolf before coming to a halt.
"Harry!"
Ron lay on the ground with Malfoy's legs limp, and Hermione sweated like rain in the face of the mountain of wolves, and she raised her wand tremblingly, but her mind went blank.
Call!
Immediately afterward, the dozen or so werewolves that had held Harry down flew upside down, Sirius gave up his wand against the werewolves, and he transformed into the form of Animagus, protecting Harry under him, his gray eyes red with a wisp of blood flowing from under the cut brow bone, and bared his teeth and roared at the werewolves who tried to rush up again.
The moment he saw Harry hold it down, Snape's breathing almost stopped, and the blood on his face disappeared cleanly, until Sirius arched over the werewolf, and his chest could not be seen to rise.
Snape's body shook uncontrollably, his lips were dry, but sparks were almost spewing out of the black hole's eyes, reason kept him from leaving Hermione and Ron, but he didn't realize that his expression was more hideous than ever at this moment!
Wisps of foul-smelling black smoke erupted from the tip of Snape's staff, and the disgusting smoke that obscured the night sky caught the wind in midair, turning into black pythons that entangled the werewolves trying to get closer, and the pythons formed by the smoke were obviously incredibly toxic and corrosive, and the werewolves entangled in the pythons let out heart-rending screams, and then, their bodies were like snowmen close to the fire, visibly turning into a pile of flesh and blood.
The bloody and tragic situation caused Hermione and Ron to vomit directly, and the move of killing more than twenty werewolves was also very draining on Snape, his body staggered a few times, and everything in front of him was ghosted.
The werewolves have lost nearly half of their manpower, but they still have enough people left, and Hagrid's motorcyclist is still behind the human wall formed by the werewolves, and it seems that they have little hope of breaking through!
