Chapter 339: Uproar

"Madam Pomfrey told me, in order to prevent any of the three of you. Whoever had misfortune had the misfortune to put you in separate wards, and did not allow you to visit each other out of her sight, but it was clear that you did not take her words seriously. ”

Professor McGonagall stared sternly at Harry and Ron, who were scrambling to get up, and said bitterly.

Harry and Ron had nothing to say other than what they considered unlucky.

"Oh—Professor McGonagall—"

Hermione stammered,

"The two of them have come to ask me for lessons—" She held up the bedside table, which was two-thirds parchment scribbled on it, and her hands trembled slightly.

"You know, we didn't have classes for a week, and we were all worried that we wouldn't be able to keep up, so when we didn't need to do a physical exam, we would talk together -- I mean, prep for the new course -- "

It turned out that people who were good at learning lied more than people with bad grades, and Harry could be sure that if he or Ron had said so, Professor McGonagall's face would not have softened.

"Okay--"

Professor McGonagall's shoulders loosened slightly, and she stared at Harry and Ron, mistaking the fear on the faces of the two little wizards of lying to Hermione in case they were exposed to fear that they wouldn't be able to keep up with the class.

"At breakfast, Bobby left early so as not to delay the inspection of the three of you, so she didn't hear the headmaster's orders, Albus thought--"

Looking at the three little wizards whose eyes were already excited, the sternness of their faces completely melted, she smiled and said,

"He thinks a week's quarantine should be enough to show everyone that the three of you are safe and that it's time for you to go back to Gryffindor."

Harry knew he should have been more reserved, as Hermione thought, and the only credit they had for that night was the capture of Peter Pettigrew, but it was something that couldn't be put on the table, and in the eyes of the professors, they were no doubt in trouble for breaking the school rules.

But Harry couldn't help but grin.

He had spent the night in the hospital before, but never had it been so long and so hard as this one, he missed the four-poster bed in his dorm room, he missed his roommates, he missed the firebow and Quidditch, and he even swore that he would take Professor Snape's Potions class eight times a week if he could get him out of the hospital and back to Gryffindor.

Or, Professor Trelawney's divination class, preferably one of them, because now that Harry had finally figured out the origin of the big dog he had seen on Magnolia Crescent Street, he didn't have to fear any more 'vicious' 'curses' from the nervous Divination professor.

"Of course, I personally think it's better for you to leave tomorrow morning—"

Professor McGonagall's ensuing words made the three young wizards with joy in their hearts instantly half less happy.

"One more thing, Miss Granger--"

Professor McGonagall glanced at the latest issue of Wizarding Weekly on the bed, not caring how they had managed to get their hands on it while they were in quarantine.

"This morning, I received a letter from Amosta who told me about the fact that your time turner has been broken--"

At the mention of this, Professor McGonagall became angry again, she was about to reprimand Hermione for why she didn't report the matter to her immediately after the time turner was damaged, but seeing Hermione's nervous clenched fists and the worry in Potter and Weasley's eyes, she couldn't bear to be harsh, sighed softly, and said solemnly,

"Amosta told me that he did some work in the Ministry, and the Ministry of Magic has decided not to pursue the damage to the time converter, but I need you to write a note explaining how the converter was damaged by Greyback, and this note needs to be signed by me and Amosta, after that, he will hand it over to the Ministry."

"It's as simple as that?"

Ron, who was punished by Hermione for forcing Amway to lose the time turner, subconsciously asked,

"You don't need to be fined a lot of Galleons and then squatting in Azkaban for a few months."

"It's going to be like this according to the normal flow--"

Professor McGonagall stared at Ron with a sinking face,

"But it's clear that Amosta got through ahem, I mean, Greyback broke the time-turner when he tried to kidnap you in the Forbidden Forest, right, and that's good enough for the ministry to consider the unexpected."

The time turner wasn't broken in Greyback's hands, but inexplicably broken after a time travel experience, as Professor Bryan knew.

Ron pursed his lips and didn't say anything.

The Weasleys' financial situation is indeed not good, but Ron is also a real 'second generation official', since he was a child, he still knows something about the 'dark box operations' in the ministry that cannot be put on the table, and Harry's face looks a little unnatural.

Since Professor Bryan took him to the underground world deep in Tumbledown Alley last summer, he has understood that the wizarding world is not as beautiful as he imagined, and the Muggle world is full of a lot of darkness and injustice, just like Hagrid and Buckbeak, obviously so many little wizards have seen it, and the injury was caused by Malfoy, but the Ministry of Magic also disregarded the facts under Malfoy's influence and prosecuted Buckbeak.

However, the matter has now been resolved as well.

When Hagrid was back to school the other day, he asked Madam Pomfrey to bring a message to the three of them that the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Animals had decided to drop the case, and according to Hagrid, it was all due to Professor Blaine.

Powerful wizards are privileged.

This is true for Professor Blaine, this is true for Headmaster Dumbledore, and even the Malfoy family, who have a lot of influence.

Harry had been annoyed that he couldn't help himself that night in the Forbidden Forest, watching them fight against Greyback, and now he found that Professor Brian had dealt with one difficult thing after another that made them sad, and a small thought began to take root in his heart.

The time-turner matter was properly resolved, and for Harry, the aftermath of what had happened that night of the werewolf riot was finally undone.

In order not to be imprisoned in Azkaban, after Professor McGonagall left, Hermione kicked Harry and Ron out of her room, and she spent the whole day busy with Professor Brian's fact sheet, until they went to bed, when Madam Pomfrey needed to put a final check on them, and they walked into Hermione's room again in the morning, which was still clean and tidy, and the floor and bed were strewn with parchment written all over the floor.

Hermione's hair was disheveled, and she looked like she was about to collapse.

Harry and Ron each picked up a piece of discarded parchment and read it.

"You're a lot worse at making up stories than you can do in your essays, Hermione."

Ron couldn't help but laugh, and all he got was Hermione's angry glare.

"Ahem, do you need our help, Hermione--"

Harry couldn't help but smile and said,

"You know, Professor Trelawney's divination class requires a bit of skill to complete her homework that satisfies her."

Obviously, they had only been in the school hospital for a week, but when the three of Harry stepped out of the school hospital, they all suddenly had an illusion in their hearts as if they were in a different world, and the anticipation in their hearts burned like a raging flame, and they ran down the corridor, eager to meet the students in the college.

At 7:40 a.m. on Monday morning, most of the young wizards had gathered in the Great Hall for breakfast, and Harry and the three of them had a clear purpose, running down the spiral staircase and rushing into the Great Hall with a few steps out of the entrance hall.

And as soon as they entered, they immediately realized that something was wrong with the atmosphere.

At the faculty table, every professor except Snape, including Dumbledore, held a copy of the Daily Prophet's Newspaper, and they buried their heads in the words of the newspaper, reading with great concentration.

It was a similar situation for the little wizards sitting at the four long tables below, gathering around their classmates who had subscribed to the newspaper and pointing at the words on it.

"What's going on?"

Harry and the three stared at each other in astonishment, slowly approaching where they were sitting, and as they passed Ginny, Ron asked in astonishment,

"I thought we'd get a warm welcome!"

Ron's voice brought Ginny, who was together with Colin, back to her senses, and when she saw Harry beside Ron, Ginny immediately smiled, but when she stood up, her lips turned pale,

"The murderer of your mom and dad, Harry"

Ginny took the newspaper from Colin's hand and said to Harry with a trembling lip,

"Sirius Black has been captured by the Ministry of Magic!"
