Chapter 360: Far Away Heroic Spirit

What are Professors Snape and McGonagall doing in the Forbidden Forest? Halligan and Hermione looked at each other, both of them seeing the confusion in each other's eyes.

The headmasters of the two Hogwarts houses seemed to have something urgent, and they hurried away, ignoring the young wizards who were casting curious eyes at them, and quickly walked away from the edge of the Forbidden Forest, and it was not long before their backs blurred.

"Harry!"

Around the same time, Hermione and Harry jumped up from the grass, and Hermione asked nervously.

"I'll take it!"

Without saying that, Harry immediately understood what Hermione meant, he was glad that he didn't go back to the dorm with Ron, there was no cloak, Harry knew that his tracking skills were definitely not enough to track the two school heads.

Harry pulled his cloak of invisibility out of his bag, looked around with a shrunken head, put it on his and Hermione's heads, and ran away in the direction Snape and Professor McGonagall had left.

"I bet Ron will regret missing something important again!" Harry said.

"Not necessarily, Harry—"

Hermione struggled to carry her bulging bag and said breathlessly,

"I think you know what we're doing, Harry, it's against school rules to stalk a professor, maybe Ron will be lucky enough to escape confinement."

Having said that, Hermione still followed Harry closely, and did not hesitate at all about her actions.

What had happened to make Snape and Professor McGonagall appear so urgent?

If Snape had been the only one to go to the Forbidden Forest, Harry would have had a lot of speculation, but Professor McGonagall was with him, which made many of Harry's speculations untenable.

Five minutes later, the figures of the two deans became clear in the eyes of the two young wizards who were following them, and then the two of them slowed down their running, fearing that the crunching of fallen leaves would alert the two deans.

Instead of rushing deep into the Forbidden Forest, Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall continued to run towards the edge of the lake and the edge of the Forbidden Forest at a distance intersection, until twenty minutes later, when the noise of the young wizards in the Hogwarts courtyard had completely subsided, and the two of them were caught off guard by a path that was not too wide, but still easy to walk.

"I never knew there was a place like this in the Forbidden Forest, maybe Fred and George hadn't been there!"

Harry exclaimed in amazement under the cloak of invisibility.

The forest trail they had set foot on was also covered with fallen leaves, but it looked strangely clean in the light of the red golden sunset.

The tall pine trees on both sides of the path were also turned golden by the sun a dozen feet above the horizon, and behind the two of them, Harry and Hermione felt as if they had arrived in a fairy tale world as the waters of the Black Lagoon gently lapped against the shore of the lake and the ethereal chirping of insects and birds in the forest.

"Shhhh

Hermione reminded shrewdly, but when she saw the moss-covered stone tablets in the lush haystacks between the trees on both sides of the path, she couldn't help but sigh,

"It must be very old here--"

Harry also looked at the ancient stone tablets after being reminded of hermione, and then he immediately understood why Hermione was exclaiming like that.

The stone monuments standing in the forest are actually tombstones, because they are old and unattended, these tombstones are crawling with green green vines, and the words on the tombstones are almost invisible in the wind and rain.

Hermione looked at the tombstones, her face turning pale, and a terrible guess popped out of her clever head.

Because of this speculation, the surrounding environment suddenly became less amiable, Hermione's lips trembled, and she only felt that every fresh breath she breathed became cold and piercing,

"Who could it be, Harry--"

Hermione turned her head to look at Harry, and she noticed that Harry's face was not normal, and she immediately realized that Harry had the same guess as him, so she asked,

"Yes- will it be——, you see, Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall, they- they're the Dean. Could it be that Harry-"

"No way!"

Harry's face was pale, he didn't know the answer, but he replied categorically.

The two professors in front of them never spoke, but walked with their heads in a hurry, and after a few more minutes, Professor McGonagall noticed a large, level, garden-like circular area in front of the path.

"I see them, Severus—"

Professor McGonagall said excitedly, and then the two of them suddenly picked up their pace and hurried there.

Dumbledore, Amosta, Sirius, Remus Lupin on a stretcher, Kreacher in Black's old mansion. And, of course, Regulus Blaine, whose face is forever fixed in his youth, is in this little garden.

"It's coming so quickly, Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall—"

Amosta wiped the sweat drops from his forehead, tucked his wand back into his sleeve, and smiled at the two professors who were panting,

"I just cleaned up here."

"We've been on the road as soon as we were notified by Albus, Amosta—"

Professor McGonagall clutched her chest, and she saw Regulus Black, lying quietly asleep on a piece of green velvet, with a sad expression and her eyes moistened.

The gardens that Amosta has cleaned up are like a wonderland, but the atmosphere here certainly doesn't compare to a fairy tale.

Dumbledore's hands were folded under his abdomen, his expression was very solemn, and Remus's expression was not much different from Dumbledore's, the only difference was that he had a little guilt on his face, which was not surprising, after all, he was the only one lying down for the funeral.

Sirius sat beside his brother, staring deeply at his brother, who had grown up with him, his face twitching from time to time, as if he was trying to restrain something, and the elf Kreacher, who was loyal to the Black family, had not so many scruples.

Kreacher threw himself under the table that carried Regulus's body, and judging by its inaudible crying, it had been crying for at least a few hours.

When he was a student at Hogwarts, Snape knew Regulus, he was his senior, of course, because of Sirius, he didn't like this fellow student who was a few years lower than him, but when he left Hogwarts to follow the mysterious man, they communicated more with each other.

Later, Regulus disappeared silently, and Snape never paid much attention to it, after all, he still had so many troubles about himself at the time, but he did not expect that many years later, he would actually see Regulus Black again in this situation.

Regulus Black at the table looked ashen, but he was relieved to look at ease.

Snape stared deeply at Regulus's face, his expression dazed, and for a moment Regulus's lifeless face looked like his own.

"Can I be liberated?"

Snape asked himself inwardly, and the answer to the question stung him, and he turned his gaze to the stretcher, covered in white bandages, only his face was revealed, and Remus, who was trying to tilt his head up and salute Regulus, almost laughed out loud with a gloating look in his eyes.

"So, since you're here, Harry, and Hermione, you two come over and see off the Heroic Spirit who is about to go away—"

Amosta beckoned to a towering tree not far away, Dumbledore was obviously aware of it, and he smiled at it as well, and the space at the base of the tree suddenly distorted as the rest of the group stared in amazement, and then two small heads with scornful faces showed their heads.
