Chapter 390: Reasons for Choice

Professor Bryan is leaving Hogwarts?

Hermione blinked, but there was not much surprise in her heart. It's really not a big deal. Hagrid also occasionally left Hogwarts on business, and Professor Dumbledore also left Hogwarts on a regular basis to attend to his own business.

A look at the thick, unopened pile of letters in the corner of Professor Blaine's desk shows how many academic conferences or high-end receptions he receives on a regular basis.

But the teaching assistant --

Neville wriggled his ass uneasily, and he subconsciously looked at Hermione, hoping to get a hint from the classmate he admired so much, but Hermione also looked dazed.

If it was a class like Charms or Transfiguration, Hermione thought she could do it, and even, would have cheered for it, because it meant that her level was taught, but Professor Brian's physical education class. Hermione wondered, what could she do?

Luna looked nonsensical, and it made no difference to her whether she did it or not.

"What, not very happy?"

Amosta raised an eyebrow, his expression not too stern.

Hermione hesitated for a moment before she said uneasily,

"Professor Bryan, can you tell me why you chose us I mean, we're not the best, aren't we, the best at the moment is Cedric, oh, Harry and Malfoy are doing well"

"Winning or losing in a moment is not something I care about--"

Amosta shook his head, and he said calmly,

"Of course, I do need to explain to you, first of all, Mr. Longbottom—"

Amosta turned his gaze to Neville, who noticed Neville clenching his fists nervously, and his smile grew warmer.

"Don't be nervous, Mr. Longbottom—well, I chose you because of your outstanding talent. There are many kinds of talents, such as Miss Granger, who excelled due to her brilliant brain, concentration in learning, and awe and desire for knowledge, and Harry, who became the youngest Seeker in a century thanks to his sharp reflexes and physical balance.

And you, Mr. Longbottom, have a lackluster talent for magic, but, in physical function, you are even better than Harry, except that some shortcomings in your personality obscure your excellence, and only in certain circumstances can you show it--"

Neville blinked, as if he didn't quite understand.

Hermione understood, but she was unimpressed.

What Professor Bryan was trying to convey was that Neville's cowardly personality led to his lack of courage to show himself, and his strengths were obscured. But so what, those Muggle athletes were all talented, but that didn't help them become good wizards.

As if sensing Hermione's thoughts, Professor Bryan pursed his lips and continued,

"Godric Gryffindor, the founder of Gryffindor House, was a valiant warrior in his own right, who fused ancient magical techniques with Muggle fighting techniques and defeated many of the formidable opponents of his time, Mr. Longbottom—"

Professor Bryan paused, then added to Neville, who was a little frightened,

"At least in terms of combat skills, I think you have a talent for that direction. And, it's a workout for you – show yourself more. ”

Professor Blaine actually thinks that Neville has the ability to follow the back of the great Gryffindor, and if this statement comes out, Neville probably doesn't know how much ridicule he will face, but this is Professor Blaine. He doesn't joke lightly!

Hermione tilted her head to stare at Neville's round face in shock, as if she had met him for the first time.

"As for Miss Granger, I've already stated your merits,"

Professor Blaine nodded at Hermione,

"But I missed one point, it is not easy to follow the rules after I leave, it is foreseeable that some little wizards will probably take the opportunity to be lazy, or even make trouble, I need someone who can manage the discipline of the class, for this, I will give you some rights, you can deduct points for those restless little wizards like a prefect, and confine. Filch will cooperate with you. ”

Usually after the fifth grade, the school will select those students with excellent character and academic performance to serve in the important position of prefect, and will give them the rights of some professors, Hermione has not heard of any professor who gives the little wizard in the third year such important authority!

Corresponding to authority is responsibility.

In an instant, Hermione predicted that there were people who might be cheating and sloppy, and there were people who might be causing trouble during training. These people, can she really control them?

Hermione pondered the question, but suddenly, another doubt jumped into Hermione's mind.

Why did Professor Bryan bring Luna here?

Luna is a second-year little wizard, who was 'specially recruited' into physical education by Professor Brian, and Ginny also has this treatment, and Ginny is indeed extraordinary, and in the current training of physical education class, Ginny's grades are among the best.

But Luna's performance was nothing to the show.

In fact, she was badly ranked, almost bottom-notch. Every time Luna went on the field to train, she was always very easily distracted, and before she could take a few steps, she would start looking around like she usually did, and then she would be dizzy and forced to leave the field by a steady stream of big dung eggs.

"As for Miss Lovegood—-"

When Amosta looked at Luna, who seemed to be in a daze, her expression showed a rare hesitation,

"You still insist that you can see those. Those, uh, those weird little creatures--"

"They're all over the place--"

Luna came to her senses, her hands flapping her ears as if a bunch of flies were buzzing around her.

Hermione and Neville had been dealing with Luna for a while, and they both knew that she was a bit crazy sometimes.

Hermione glanced at Professor Bryan quickly, then said to Luna beside her with a straight face,

"Don't be stupid, Luna, no one has ever heard of it if it's a harassing creature or a scimitar-horned snorer, I went to the library to check the materials, and there's no evidence of that-"

"They exist!"

Luna looked a little angry, she looked stubborn, gesturing her hands in mid-air,

"There are a lot of eyewitness reports, and just because you can't see them, you think they don't exist!"

Looking at Luna, who was arguing with Hermione in front of him, Amosta's eyes flashed with contemplation, and the right hand behind him was pinched, his middle finger and thumb pinched.

Smack!

Hermione, who was trying to convince Luna to give up her illusions, was stunned by the snap of her fingers, and she subconsciously looked at Professor Blaine, but at that moment, a strong wind suddenly blew outside the window in the drizzling rain. A fierce wind swept through the window for no apparent reason, and the glass window clattered!

"Wow!"

Hermione and Neville were still in a daze, but Luna seemed to see something unusual, and she jumped right onto the couch in fright.

Facing Hermione and Neville's inexplicable gaze, Luna pointed out the window with a trembling voice, her voice both frightened and excited,

"Heliopa!" Luna's bulging eyes widened, "A bunch of Haliopa just ran over!" ”

"W-what is that?"

Neville asked uneasily, shrinking his shoulders.

"It's a fiery behemoth that spikes across the ground and burns everything in front of it - but I didn't expect them to fly!"

Luna was right.

Hermione's lips were pursed, and her expression looked comical.

And so it was—

Amosta nodded inwardly.

Luna Lovegood - This little girl has a keen sense of magic to the point where she can 'manifest', and for many years, this is the first wizard Amosta has come into contact with, and can match her own magic sensitivity.

"I've got something here—"

Professor Bryan turned back to his desk, pulled open a drawer and pulled out a brand new notebook, then walked back to the couch and handed it to Luna.

"It teaches people how to 'see' harassment."

Meeting Luna's shining silver eyes, Professor Bryan smiled.

"If you're interested, you can do your research first, Miss Lovegood—"
