Chapter 417: Sirius's savior

Neither Amosta nor Sirius wanted the adventure to be delayed for too long, but in reality, they were delayed for two days.

St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Injuries and Injuries suddenly sent a letter to Sirius, it was sent by Remus, after a long few months of recuperation, the werewolf virus in Remus's body finally dropped to a safe range, and it only took about a week or so for him to be discharged.

Remus, who had been in the hospital for almost half a year, couldn't wait to write a letter to ask Sirius about his recent arrangements.

Remus must have wanted him to be accompanied by an old friend when he was discharged from the hospital, but Sirius needed to accompany Amosta on a journey, and it was conservatively estimated that this trip could take twenty days to a month, so Sirius went to the hospital to say sorry to Remus.

However, there are also things to look forward to.

When they returned, the 422nd Quidditch World Cup was just a few days away, and Sirius planned to go to the Dursley house with Remus to pick Harry out and join Harry's friends before going to the World Cup together.

The two of them also cordially invited Amosta to join him, but Amosta had never been very interested in the sport.

The first half of the trip was generally comfortable.

They chose to travel the Muggle way, flying from London to Aberdeen, a port city in the north of England, one of the major cities in Scotland, in the north-east of Scotland.

Ferries from Aberdeen to Shetland generally depart at 7pm and arrive early the next morning, meaning that Amosta and Sirius will need to stay overnight on the ferry.

At the end of June, the height of summer is approaching, but the temperature here is not scorching, but the air is soaked with a hint of coolness.

Boom –

In the middle of the night, a ferry sailing over the foggy sea suddenly fell from a height of four or five stories to the bottom between the waves and the wolves, and the violent jolting alarmed the Muggle tourists who were sleeping in their rooms, and even Amosta was awakened by the movement.

Truth be told, Amosta is a bit of a mishap with these less comfortable vehicles.

But this is also a helpless thing, in the case of an inaccurate destination, using phantom shifting is not a good option, and the broomstick is physically demanding, under normal circumstances, wizards who travel long distances will not choose it.

Amosta, who had opened his sleepy eyes, glanced over at the bed beside him, Sirius was not in the room.

Looking through the walls of the ship's cabin, which had seeped into some of the seawater, Amosta easily found Sirius's location. After thinking about it, he put on an overcoat for himself, opened the bedroom door, and entered the narrow hallway filled with the smell of sea and rust.

Everything in sight was staggering, and at the end of the passage, a scruffy Muggle sailor had tied himself to the handrail with his harness and was resting with his eyes closed.

The seemingly careless sailor was more alert than expected, and when Amosta's palm touched the cold doorknob, he immediately opened his eyes, and as soon as he grasped Amosta's wrist, a pair of vigilant eyes stared at Amosta tightly behind the scattered hair,

"What do you want to do?"

"I have a friend on deck, and I'm going to look for him."

"Stop!"

The sailor unceremoniously punctured this 'lie', and he pulled his throat to get his voice to reach Amosta's ears,

"I've been staying here, sir, no one has passed through here, and besides, it's a typhoon blowing outside, and the waves are as high as several floors, if your friend is really outside, then he must not be on the deck, I guess he is very likely to feed the fish at the bottom of the sea!"

"You're out of luck tonight, brother-" A hint of frustration flashed in Amosta's eyes, "I hope two Confusion Charms won't break your brain—"

"What?"

The sailor's tone was confused, but before he could ask anything, the world in front of him suddenly became trance, and even his mind became trance.

Click!

The sailor pulled the deadbolt and opened the heavy iron door for Amosta, and he said cheerfully, ignoring the raging storm,

"The weather is wonderful, sir, the sun is shining and the sea breeze is warm, I hope you have a nice trip!"

"Thanks--"

Amosta nodded politely, stepped over the threshold, and staggered up the steel ladder to the deck.

In the raging waves, this small displacement of the ferry is like a flat boat, with the ebb and flow of the surging tide, Amosta can constantly hear the palpitating sound of steel deformation, as if the next second, the ferry will be protected in the stormy waves.

The night sky was completely dark, the sea was a deep inky color, and there seemed to be a strange force around it, engulfing all the lights emitted by the ferry itself.

This is the power of heaven and earth!

Amosta stared at the waves that rose above the bow of the ship, and the thought popped into her mind.

It's not that he hasn't been to the sea, but in the past, for the sake of mission and secrecy, he basically didn't use wizarding or Muggle transportation, but chose a more agile broomstick. It was the first time he had gone to sea in a Muggle way, and from a Muggle's point of view, the might of nature was terrifying.

Not only Muggles, but even wizards could not compete with the forces of nature.

The waves crashed onto the deck and took away a few buckets that were not secured.

Sirius used a little magic to secure himself to the deck, but instead of waterproofing himself, his figure was drowned in inky sprays.

Airplanes.

A covert magical barrier fit his body, and Amosta floated slightly, coming to Sirius' side.

"Looking for excitement?"

"Just reminiscing about the past—" Sirius wiped the water from his face, smiling with a hint of melancholy, "I've been floating alone at sea for weeks since I escaped from Azkaban. It seems like it's this season, hey, it's only been less than a year, but it feels like a lot of years have passed-"

Amosta pursed her lips and smiled softly, but didn't speak.

"I was so desperate then--"

Sirius closed his eyes, still patting his face indiscriminately by the cold sea,

"I carefully dodged the Kraken and the mermaids, and when the wind was calm, I found some fish from the sea to eat, and sometimes, there was no rain for several days, and I could only drink the blood of those big fish, and when the wind blew, I couldn't control my actions at all, and let the waves throw me dozens of feet into the air, or, photographing the deep sea, countless times, I thought I was dead--"

Being there, making those memories more real and vivid, Sirius shuddered a few times.

Amosta knew that Sirius needed someone to talk to, so he remained silent. But fortunately, Sirius quickly regained his senses, and he sighed deeply and pressed all his emotions into his heart,

"No one knows the exact location of Azkaban, rumours say it's over the North Sea, we can only take it one step at a time--"

"Why don't we go straight out of Aberdeen to the North Sea, but to Shetland first?"

Amosta asked a little curiously.

"Because that's where I got ashore—"

Sirius explained,

"I was carried by the currents not far from the mainland, and at this time, the waves became a little milder. When I was at Hogwarts, my astronomy class was pretty good, and I was able to orient myself by learning the position of the planet's trajectory from Aurora and trying to adjust my direction, but it was still not easy, and by the time I could see the coastline, I was completely exhausted."

A smile suddenly appeared on the corner of Sirius's mouth,

"I couldn't maintain my Animagus form, I became a human body, and then, an old fisherman named John fished me out of the sea, he fed me food, took care of me from exhaustion, thanks to him, I was able to recover my strength as quickly as possible, and then I sneaked all the way in the form of Animagus. I promised John that I would go back and see him in due course. ”

"So, where does the old fisherman live?"

Amosta asked gently.

The wind tore through the clouds of darkness above the night, and a moonlight as bright as holy light shone on the distant island.

Faintly, a little light looms in the sea.

"Ahh

Sirius cried out in surprise,

"He's right there!"
