Chapter 433: Dementors
The most notorious thing about the guards of Azkaban Prison is that these emotionless creatures love to feed on the joyful and beautiful memories of the wizard, and they absorb the good in the wizard's mind until the wizard's soul is hollowed out and becomes a mindless shell.
Such monsters have no weaknesses, yes, the Patronus Charm can drive them away, but there is no way to kill them.
The Ministry of Magic didn't know how much criticism it had suffered because of these guards in Azkaban, but it was undeniable that these Dementors did deter evil.
Ravenclaw was trying to dismantle this terrible creature, as even Sirius could tell. He hated the Dementors, and when he sensed Ravenclaw's intentions, Sirius forgot even the fear of returning to the old land, and looked forward to what would happen next, but suddenly a roar came from beside him!
It's Amosta!
Sirius, who had never seen anything like this, his young and handsome features distorted, and his eyes filled with a hideous, ferocious murderous intent, he pointed his wand at Ravenclaw and ordered her to stop!
"What are you doing, Amosta?"
It was simply inexplicable, and Sirius was confused.
According to Amosta's previous statement, what was presented to them was only memories, what had already happened, and nothing could be interfered with, and why was Amosta so angry at Ravenclaw's efforts to destroy the Dementors?
Almost instinctively, Amosta looked angry and subconsciously pulled out his wand and aimed it at Ravenclaw's back. Sirius's roar was like thunder, waking Amosta's misty consciousness, his body trembling violently, and cold sweat on his forehead.
"What's going on, Amosta?"
Sirius's voice was full of concern, but Amosta moved his dry lips and said nothing, he didn't know how to explain to Sirius the reaction that was directly driven by the throbbing in his soul.
"It's nothing, let's read on first-"
Amosta breathed a sigh of relief, then pursed her lips tightly and said nothing.
Ravenclaw's palm was filled with a new sun, and the infinite brilliance of the holy light lit up the whole gloomy island that shook with it, and this vast power, even if it was only in a memory, made Amosta's face change slightly.
The frozen Dementors in the distance, the bodies of the illusions and reals were trembling violently, as if they were suffering endless pain, and the Dementors who directly withstood the power of Rowena Ravenclaw, one of the Big Four, were constantly screaming in their palms!
The screams continued.
Seeing this, Gryffindor, who was standing beside Ravenclaw, reached over with his large rough hand and grasped Ravenclaw's white and dexterous palm.
Bang!
In the void, thunder exploded!
The two completely different soul powers are like a millstone of destruction, trying to wear down the Dementors in the most direct way. The mournful wail in the palm of his hand gradually became like a gossamer, until it was weak and inaudible.
Gryffindor removed his palm, and Ravenclaw spread his hand in return.
Amosta and Sirius stepped forward at once, and when they saw the creature in Ravenclaw's palm, both of them looked a little unsightly.
The Dementor still exists.
Although the form is almost transparent, and it is already tiny and a swimming fish, the Dementor has not disappeared!
"How so?"
Sirius cried out in a small voice.
Indeed, in people's perception, Dementors are creatures that cannot be destroyed, but this also has to divide people, but the great Gryffindor and Ravenclaw are the ones who shot in front of them, and the two of them can't eliminate an ordinary Dementor with their combined efforts?!
Amosta's eyes flickered, and he felt incredulous.
In their astonishment, the failed Gryffindor attempted again, the sword humming, and a majestic lion with ruby eyes and a flaming mane leaped out of the void and roared angrily at the 'little Dementor' in the palm of Ravenclaw's palm.
Sirius, like a little wizard, immediately cried out again with excitement, and Amosta, who had seen the patronus, narrowed his eyes in anticipation of what was to come.
Needless to say, the two of them had a tacit understanding, and with a flick of his palm, Rowena floated towards Godric's Patronus and was swallowed by the lion with its bloody mouth open.
"There will definitely be no problem this time!"
Sirius exclaimed confidently.
It was like a living creature with a fierce whimper, a mysterious magic brewing between its closed mouth, just
There was silence for a moment, and Rowena stared at the transparent ghost that floated on the ground, being spit out by Godric's Patronus, leaving only a transparent ghost the size of a little thumb, and the voice was less ethereal and a little more heavy,
"See that, Godric--"
"It can't be destroyed, no, the Patronus does have the ability to destroy it, but the point is not in the soul power, but in the . Happy and these pathetic creatures—"
Rowena nodded, a hint of worry in her ice-blue pupils.
It's not about power, it's about happiness.
Amosta's eyebrows moved slightly, thoughtful, but what he heard next made Amosta unable to keep his composure!
"Helbo--"
Gryffindor's tone was slightly melancholy,
"This guy created Horcruxes, with the trap of immortality, to bewitch how many wizards of his time, they were used, constantly dividing their souls, and finally became this empty shell in the ghost between life and death."
Click!
A thunderbolt exploded in Amosta's soul, causing his face to change dramatically.
What do you mean, Dementors. Yes, a wizard? Are those wizards who tried to use Horcruxes to achieve immortality, but turned into empty shells because they split their souls too many times?!
Sirius also had a look of disbelief, although he didn't know what a Horcrux was, but at least, he could tell that Gryffindor was a wizard who said that Dementors cut their souls.
In modern times, Voldemort is the only wizard Amosta knows of who has split his soul many times, and it is this magic that gives Dumbledore a headache. Voldemort is probably the most proud of his magic is the Horcrux, but I'm afraid Dumbledore and Voldemort didn't expect that the final outcome of splitting souls would be like this!
Amosta's thoughts are a storm!
That's perfectly reasonable, isn't it, Horcruxes strip the good parts of a person's soul and eventually only the evil of human nature remains, and if in the end, even these evils are stripped away, what will be left?
Dementors feed on life-sucking emotions, an instinct that instinctively makes up for their own shortcomings!
"Pathetic--"
Ravenclaw with compassion on his face,
"These wizards have fallen for the conspiracy, they should have followed Helmo before, they would have thought that Helpo gave him the magic of the Horcrux as a reward, but they were used, and Helmo just needed their indestructible shells after they became such creatures."
Using the Shell?
Amosta, whose mind was in a mess, still remembered the words, knowing that the Gryffindor or Ravenclaw memories must contain important guidance, but he still couldn't fathom all the information.
"Pathetic creatures, but we have to find a way to destroy them."
Gryffindor said categorically.
Ravenclaw nodded slightly,
"This is the most important step."
Sirius looked at Amosta's pale face, Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, and opened his mouth several times, not knowing what to ask.
There are too many doubts. But Sirius knew that he undoubtedly knew some extremely important secrets, and Amosta's insistence on coming here was most likely related to these secrets!
