Chapter 441: Separation
In the melodious and comfortable sea breeze, Amosta's calm expression said words that made Sirius startled.
"What do you mean, Amosta?"
As soon as the words came out, Sirius suddenly realized that he seemed to have asked Amosta this many times tonight, but then, he threw the question out of his mind with a solemn expression,
"Suddenly gone. What exactly are you planning? ”
Amosta didn't answer the question, he just smiled slightly, and his eyes were on Azkaban again.
Seeing him like this, Sirius knew that he might not be able to ask anything, and he stared at the side face of Amosta, a young man in his early twenties, but there was a fortitude between his eyebrows that did not match his age. And the 'thickness' of his eyes is not something he can see through.
"You're amazing, Amosta—"
Sirius sighed, patted Amosta on the shoulder, and said,
"I can't think of any wizard at your age with the power of yours, not even Dumbledore, but I want you to understand - and that's what Azkaban's twelve years of imprisonment have taught me that I, Remus, Dumbledore, ah, and Snape, we're all your friends. Even if Voldemort still has a bunch of Death Eaters, understand, Amosta, if you need help."
The soft starlight shone on Amosta's body, softening the silhouette of his face a lot.
"I don't want to be lectured by you, Sirius."
Amosta jokingly digressed the subject, interrupting Sirius' next words,
"I'm going to go to Azkaban, that place has too much influence on you, you just wait for me here."
"You're still going up?"
Sirius frowned,
"Could it be that the memory we just experienced didn't solve your doubts that you want to go to the underground ruins, but how are you going to get in, oh the crown of Ravenclaw is in your hands."
Under Sirius' worried gaze, Amosta soared into the air until he disappeared from sight.
The wait always feels like a long one.
For hours, Sirius stood on the tattered deck, staring apprehensively in the direction of Azkaban, except that there was no movement as silent as an abyss.
Indeed, Amosta was so skilled that Sirius wouldn't have been so worried if he had explored elsewhere, but after a trip through the memories of the Hogwarts Giants, Sirius learned that Azkaban was far more dangerous than people thought
It wasn't until the starlight dimmed and the distant sky dawned that Sirius breathed a sigh of relief as a shadow that quickly approached the sea.
"How's it going, did you encounter any accidents?"
When the shadow turned back to its original form on the deck, Sirius immediately greeted him, and he looked at Amosta a few times, and only breathed a sigh of relief after noticing that Amosta had suffered any persecution, but when Sirius looked into Amosta's eyes, he was suddenly stunned,
"Your eyes--"
"It's the same color again, isn't it?"
Amosta looked in a good mood, and he said with a smile as he touched the corners of his eyes with his fingertips.
"Okay, it's okay—"
Sirius didn't ask if Amosta was really the reason Ravenclaw's crown opened the underground secret realm, nor did he ask what Amosta had done in the past few hours, and when he saw that he was fine, he shrugged his shoulders and said.
But suddenly, Sirius's mood was lifted again,
"It's done, right, does that mean we can go back, oh, Harry must be waiting for me to pick him up for the Quidditch World Cup, how about it, Amosta, do you want to go with us, let's pick up Harry first, Remus is probably impatient to wait in the old house, he and Kreacher can't get along together before the summer vacation we all agreed, let's go to Weasley's house for a few days, and then take this group of little guys to see the Quidditch World Cup!"
Sirius looked eagerly at Amosta, hoping that he would agree, but disappointed, Amosta shook his head slowly,
"I don't like places that are too noisy, and for the rest of the summer, if there are no accidents, I'll probably stay in the old house, and I need time to think about this memory we experienced."
It took Amosta and Sirius more than twenty days to reach this sea, and the return journey didn't have to be so complicated, they could use the portkey to transfer to Old John's house, and after that, Amosta could take Sirius Apparition back to London.
They were in the magic area of the Azkaban Guard, where the powerful magic disables all teleportation magic, and Amosta uses magic to control the rotten ship, which is completely unable to move spontaneously, slowly drifts out of the sea.
Just like he had predicted.
Breaking through the barrier again and leaving caused some commotion, but compared to the situation when they broke in, it could only be regarded as a gentle drizzle.
By the time he was out of Azkaban, Sirius's last brow of gloom had vanished, and he was lying on the side of the ship enjoying the sea breeze as he waited for Amosta to retrieve the portkey from the cabin.
Suddenly, a snowlord hovering high in the sky suddenly swooped down, streaking a sharp shadow in midair, and by the time Sirius realized that the bird might be coming for him, the snowowl had already pounced in front of him, flapping his cheek with fluttering wings.
"Oh, don't-"
Sirius staggered back a few steps, he frowned at the snowy owl that had suffered a lot, and was glaring at him angrily, as if he was about to pounce on him at any moment, and after carefully identifying it, he suddenly exclaimed,
"Come and see, Amosta! It's Harry's owl, and it seems to be Hemingway! ”
"It's Hedwig--"
Amosta, who had walked out of the cabin with the portkey, shook his head slightly when he heard this.
"What do I say!"
Sirius looked a little smug,
"Harry must be impatient at the Muggle house, he can't wait for me to pick him up, oh, this owl is really good at finding this place!"
For Sirius, perhaps the greatest happiness was being needed by Harry.
He reassured Hedwig in a loud voice, and when he got the letter, he happily opened it in front of Amosta, and read it impatiently, and as the slightly immature handwriting on it jumped into his eyes one after another, Sirius's joyful expression gradually disappeared, and a touch of solemnity crept up on his eyebrows,
"Maybe you should read the letter, Amosta."
Harry's owl had also sent him a letter, and Amosta was feeding Hedwig with a small fish from the sea, and when Sirius said this, he looked away and immediately realized that something bad was happening.
"What's wrong?"
Amosta asked, and at the same time took the letter without hesitation, and looked at it at a glance.
"What do you think, Amosta?"
Sirius observed Amosta's expression and asked softly,
"Harry's scar wasn't any ordinary scar, was it, Harry said it hurt last time when Voldemort was near him. Voldemort couldn't have been near the Muggle family where Harry was staying, wasn't he, protected by Dumbledore's magic, he couldn't find Harry at all, could he--"
"Harry shouldn't have said everything."
Staring at the discreet words on the paper, Amosta narrowed his eyes slightly, and he suddenly sounded the conversation with Dumbledore before this departure, and he had to admire it a little.
Not long after Dumbledore warned him, something strange happened on Harry's side.
Putting down the letter, Amosta said calmly,
"Harry's scar is truly unusual, it represents a secret connection between him and the wizard who left it on him, and it needs to be treated with care. Well, I'll accompany you to Privet Road, and ask Harry in person if there's anything else he hasn't made clear, and I suggest you write a letter to Dumbledore and tell me about it--"
Phew!
Just then, another gray owl swooped in from a distance and swooped down directly on the ship. Like Hedwig, the owl has a messy feather, and it looks like he's been struggling in the sea for some days.
The letter was addressed to Amosta, and the person who wrote was Kakus Foley.
"Sorry, Sirius--"
Unfolding the letter and glancing at it, Amosta's eyes suddenly sharpened,
"It's up to you to ask about Harry's side of things, feel free to write to me if there's anything new, there's something I have to investigate myself-"
