Chapter 495: Amosta's Layout

Bang!

The thunder of late summer and early autumn sounds much softer than that of midsummer, but in the midst of this thunder, the rain is more rapid and the world is more gloomy.

"Oh, I forgot!"

The dark ditch in front of the door could not digest such a rapid rain, and the rain that came up from the ditch gurgled and bubbled. Sirius seemed to be stupid by himself, and he patted his head and said with a little chagrin,

"I was distraught by Harry, and I completely forgot about it!"

"What's going on?"

There will be a lot to think about in the next time, and the two days before the start of school are the only days when you can still maintain a comfortable state of mind, Amosta asked with interest as she leaned back in her chair with a teacup in her hand.

Sirius gave Remus a look, and he was silent.

"It was the night of the Quidditch final, Harry, Ron, and Hermione met the Dark Mark, and the three little ones sneaked out to find Harry's wand without saying hello at all, Sirius only heard about it from Arthur's mouth the next day, and he was angry with Harry, you must already know about it, right?"

After taking on the role of father, many thoughts will change subtly, especially for Sirius, who has been through so much.

Amosta nodded, "The first half, Fudge mentioned it to me. ”

"What do you think?" Remus looked solemn.

Amosta understood what Remus wanted to know, and the Ministry of Magic issued a statement that the masked wizards who attacked that night were a group of botched imitators, but the exact truth was not known to the outside world. The existence of the Dark Mark makes the Ministry of Magic's claim less tenable, because this particular mark magic was taught to his followers by Voldemort, and if it was just a group of imitators who appeared there, then how could they use it?

Politicians are always keen on lies, and Fudge simply suppressed the matter, not allowing the ministry to discuss it, and not allowing the Daily Prophet to report on it.

"Old Barty dealt with it very decisively--"

The more things I knew, the more secrecy had become a habit, and Amosta casually said it, passing it off. However, he himself was thinking that the house-elf that served Barty Crouch probably had nothing to do with the Dark Mark mark, so who actually conjured the Black Mark mark? Was he in the box that night, like Lucius Malfoy, trying to show his loyalty to the Death Eaters before Voldemort returned?

"Tell me about you, Sirius, what do you want to talk to me about?"

Amosta refilled his cup with water and said calmly.

"Oh, there's no need to shy away from it, Remus, I was inspired by youβ€”" Sirius stopped Remus from leaving, taking a deep breath and looking at Amosta, "That's the way it isβ€”"

Sirius tells the story of what happened, first telling Amosta that Fred and George had a conflict with their mother, Mrs. Weasley, over the development of a prank product, to Remus's intention to invest in Fred and George, opening a shop selling joke products in Hogsmeade, and Remus's real intention to do so, and finally, he talks about the fact that he has been in a state of idleness since he left Hogwarts.

Ever since Sirius and Remus learned of Harry's dreams, they had a strong premonition that Voldemort, lurking in the shadows, was becoming more and more active.

On the night of the Quidditch World Cup final, after Amosta defeated Videa Cleona, the monster that came to the rescue caused Harry's scar to hurt again, although the Ministry of Magic has a version of the public, but this is not convincing to everyone, Sirius and Remus are among them, and they all know that Vitia Cleona seems to be Voldemort's helper.

The war between them and Voldemort never ended, thirteen years ago when James Potter and Lily Evans put their lives to a halt to that war and bring a brief peace to the wizarding world, and now, the war is about to be rekindled.

In the war thirteen years ago, Sirius and Remus were left with regrets that they could not let go, and this time, they wanted to prepare as soon as possible.

"I know you and Dumbledore are probably prepared, Amosta, but I hope"

Sirius blew his nose, his gray eyes filled with sentimentality, and Remus, across the table, looked down at his hands on his knees, as if he had fallen into some memories.

"--I hope I can do my part to protect Harry from harm"

The scars of war never heal, and the pain of war grows more and more painful as time passes.

Amosta leaned back in her chair, tilting her head back at the old ceiling of the Weasley living room, silent.

Later last year, when he accepted Dumbledore's invitation to return to Hogwarts as Director of Student Safety, he had already made a decision to stand on the opposite side of Voldemort in the future.

Neither Dumbledore nor Amosta himself took Voldemort lightly because of the two joining forces, knowing that they were about to face not a duel, but a war.

The outcome of a war is not determined by the outcome of one or two duels, and there are many complex factors involved.

However, in the face of the chaos that will ensue, although Dumbledore and Amosta have the same goal, both of which are to thwart Voldemort's plot, but specifically, there are not many differences.

Dumbledore was more concerned with Voldemort himself, and he hoped to win the battle with as little cost and less damage to the wizarding world as possible, while Amosta wanted to rid the wizarding world of some of its addiction through this fierce conflict.

And, for Amosta, things are a little more complicated.

The fact that Vitia Cleona defected to Voldemort was definitely not as simple as imagined, and it also involved the plans of the Hogwarts Four, as well as the mythical and legendary Helpo and Merlin, who were originally incompatible, after the priestess and Voldemort joined forces, the inextricable connection finally revealed some clues.

Azkaban and his party had taught Amosta about the origin of the disgustingly evil creatures of the Dementors, but he still couldn't understand why Goroyna Ravenclaw and Godric Gryffindor insisted on destroying the Dementors, and that his own Patronus had changed since he met the Dementors.

Voldemort's return will bring to light some intrigues against Amosta, and until then, the truth remains in the fog.

"Amosta?"

Amosta's prolonged silence confused Sirius and Remus, who asked softly.

"I'm thinking about something--"

Amosta said calmly, but after throwing the words, he fell silent again, just tapping his fingers rhythmically on the table.

Both Sirius and Remus wanted to play a more active role in fighting Voldemort and protecting Harry, while some of Dumbledore's plans revolved around Harry, and he didn't seem to have them in the core, but for Amosta, both could be trusted and could really help him.

They found themselves, and it was indeed a wonderful coincidence.

Amosta set his eyes on Sirius, who he could tell that he was eager for his reasonable advice.

Division of Magical Law Enforcement; Department of Magical Beasts Management and Control; Department of International Magical Cooperation; Department of Magical Physical Sports; Department of Occult Affairs; Wizengamot Adjudication Body

Amosta counted the main administrative departments and important institutions of the Ministry of Magic.

After a long silence, Amosta finally spoke, he looked at Sirius, and asked in a slow but calm tone,

"I wonder if you'd be interested in taking a position in the Auror office, Sirius?"
