Chapter 524: Inspiration
Standing at the door of his office was Headmaster Dumbledore, and behind him, Professors Flitwick and McGonagall, as well as a number of other faculty members in the school, all of them came to the door of their office in a battle that even Amosta had never seen before.
"What's wrong, what's going on?"
At this moment, many thoughts flashed through Amosta's mind, but none of them could explain what could be serious enough for so many professors to block his door at the same time.
"Don't be nervous, Amosta--"
Dumbledore's silver beard fluttered, and he said with a smile,
"Felius, Minerva, and us, are coming—oh, why don't we go in and talk about it?"
Amosta saw urgency in the eyes of Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick, and he raised an eyebrow,
"Alright, now it's dinner, we can have a private dinner-"
Amosta welcomed his colleagues into the office, he waved his wand, and a large pile of panoramic binoculars and parts that were lying across the office floor automatically flew into a storage box that had been enlarged, and there were obviously no such entertainers in his office, and just as he was about to make a few chairs, Dumbledore withdrew his interested gaze at the alchemy props and smiled
"Don't bother, Amosta, we can handle it ourselves--"
So, each professor took out his wand and pulled out a chair from the void in his own way.
The coffee table in front of the sofa jumped in front of the professors with bewitching steps, and after making everyone a cup of tea, Amosta waved his wand to open the curtains and windows, letting in the fresh air and comfortable sunlight.
"So--"
Amosta didn't sit on the couch, his ass slapped on the armrest of the couch, and asked in wonder,
"What the hell is going on?"
"We've heard from the little wizard, Amosta—"
Professor Flitwick was the most excited, standing on the bench and asking in a shrill voice,
"You've invented a new way to help young wizards learn spells, Miss Pettier told me in Charms class, to learn magic in your spirit world, and it only took her three hours to master the Stun Charm and the Disarming Charm. It's incredible, she says your way of pointing out where her problem is! ”
"It must have the same effect on Transfiguration, right, Amosta?"
Professor McGonagall was also very interested,
"Transfiguration is a branch of enchantment, and if you can learn it this way, it will surely work for Transfiguration as well, so that we can see your ideas, Amosta?"
"Oh, you're doing this?" Amosta finally understood, and he breathed a sigh of relief, "I thought the Ministry of Magic was going to disband Hogwarts!" ”
"You know, Amosta, we have limited energy!"
Professor McGonagall's tone was urgent,
"We don't have time to give every little wizard full instruction in those magics, but some of the students. Well, I'll take Mr. Longbottom as an example, he does need a lot of practice and teaching to be able to keep up. I've heard that you can teach many young wizards at the same time, and maybe, we can learn from-"
Several of the other professors expressed the same opinion, and Amosta listened carefully to the requests of these colleagues, and then, looking at Dumbledore,
"That's what you're here for, Headmaster Dumbledore?"
"I'm really interested, Amosta--"
Dumbledore chuckled,
"There's no reason why I shouldn't be concerned if your approach can significantly improve the efficiency of teaching some courses, but of course, you have to make sure it's safe first."
Amosta pursed her lips covertly.
It's no secret that Dumbledore cares little about the day-to-day teaching and running of Hogwarts, and now, he's suddenly interested in his little innovations. He didn't take the opportunity to peek into his own spiritual world.
"Okay, I kind of get it-"
After listening to the professors' appeals, Amosta did not show a sudden expression, but on the contrary, his eyebrows frowned slightly,
"However, there are some problems --"
"What is it, Amosta?" Professor Flitwick asked nervously.
Amosta muttered for a few seconds before speaking,
"Whether it's spells, transfiguration, or other types of spells, I can indeed use my methods to speed up the learning progress of the little wizards, deepen their understanding of magic - you have all heard what I say to the students, I have incorporated them into my spiritual world, and let them practice the standard configuration of the spell, and each young wizard can get the corresponding guidance, but you must all understand that these instructions come from me, and those magic configurations are attached to my experience and thoughts, Coupled with my own mental strength, I am able to sustain this way of teaching, and you--"
Amosta pondered her words for a moment and said slowly,
"Thoughts and experiences can be extracted with magic, but you can't do it at the same time to instruct multiple young wizards an unlimited number of times, it's too much of a burden--"
Amosta's meaning was clear, they didn't have the power to sustain this spiritual magic.
The disappointment on Professor Flitwick's face was palpable, and God knows, he knew how surprised Amosta was when he came up with such a whimsy. Not every young wizard has the sensitivity of Percy Weasley or Hermione Granger, and after saying it in class, it will be understood very quickly.
Most young wizards lack a systematic understanding of magic, they are always dazed, they practice many times to master a new spell, and, perhaps, by the time of the final exam, they will forget all they have learned, like Neville Longbottom, oh, and of course, Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle of Slytherin, whose fathers were fools when they were at Hogwarts.
"Can you feel it too, Amosta? Your kind of way! ”
Professor Flitwick asked, unrelentingly.
"If it's convenient, Amosta, I'd like to see it with my own eyes—"
Professor McGonagall made the same request. And the rest of the professors followed Professor McGonagall, hoping to see and brainstorm ideas even if they couldn't promote it, wouldn't they?
"Ahem, if you don't mind, Amosta--"
Headmaster Dumbledore, who was listening to the discussion of several professors, moved his eyebrows.
"No kidding, Headmaster Dumbledore--" Amosta said with a dark face, "I don't have the mental strength to contain you!" ”
Ten minutes later, the atmosphere in the office suddenly became lively, and the faculty and staff who had separated from Amosta's spiritual world were discussing with amazement and eagerness.
"Brilliant way, Amosta, it's wonderful!"
Professor Flitwick was so excited that he almost fell off his chair,
"Accurate and objective evaluation, but also to give corrections and guidance to the little wizards, oh, if this method can be applied to the classroom, after the normal teaching, let them use this way to train, I bet, the quality of teaching at Hogwarts will be greatly improved, the wizarding examination authority will be surprised by the level of teaching at Hogwarts, and the wizarding world will benefit from it!"
"For Transfiguration, the evaluation provided by this method is not perfect—"
Professor McGonagall said objectively,
"But as Filius said, if we can promote it, then we can pass on our experience better, and a lot of people will benefit!"
Amosta shrugged,
"But here's the crux of the matter, first of all, the magic configuration is invisible in the real world, and secondly, those experiences and evaluations come from me, if I don't attach my thoughts to those configurations, then they won't do anything, and the mental power that accommodates many young wizards itself is very expensive and too costly--"
"That's not necessarily Amosta--"
Dumbledore's front of him was full of tea, and he didn't touch the bitter drink in a sip. Although he didn't get a chance to witness it in person, he listened attentively to everyone's discussions, and he also figured out how Amosta managed to do all this.
"It's not like there is no solution to these difficulties you are talking about--"
Dumbledore's blue eyes shone with wisdom, and he looked at Amosta, whose eyelids drooped slightly, and pointed to the box where Amosta had just contained the surveillance mirror,
"Moreover, the solution is obvious, we can solve those difficulties from the realm of alchemy--"
