Chapter 580: Sirius's reply

Hermione had tried to estimate how much sarcasm and staring she would suffer from becoming a Warrior, but when the new week arrived and classes resumed, she found that the situation was much worse than she had expected. She thought that all the contradictions would come at her, but this was obviously a bit taken for granted, and after a few classes, she knew that the entire Gryffindor House was involved in this matter.

The last thing Hermione wanted to face at the moment was Hufflepuff, but at worst, the first class on Monday morning was a herbology class with Hufflepuff.

The atmosphere in the class was changeable, with Gryffindor and Hufflepuff divided into two distinct waves, neither talking nor cooperating, and when Finreli pretended not to catch his hopping bulb and let it hit Hermione's nose, many of the Hufflepuff classmates who were secretly watching her burst out laughing.

Professor Sprout criticized Fenreli a few times, but her tone was lukewarm, as if she didn't take it seriously, and she wasn't so keen on naming Neville or Hermione to answer questions in class.

And perhaps because of Hagrid's insistence, Tuesday's lesson on protecting magical creatures with Slytherin was unexpectedly peaceful, but the Slytherin girls kept pointing fingers at Hermione, and when Malfoy muttered something to Pansy Parkinson who had come up to him, Pansy burst into laughter.

It wasn't just the Hogwarts students who were affected, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang protested in their own way.

To them, the whole of Hogwarts could not be trusted.

To express their displeasure, Beauxbatons' eye-catching girls did not eat in the Great Hall, and at the end of each lesson they hurried out of the castle and back to their carriages.

Fred inquired from the kitchen that the Beauxbatons had asked the goblins in the kitchen to bring the food to the wagon.

Durmstrang's men refused to let Victor Krum fall short, and when they met Krum in the auditorium, he was surrounded by a group of students from the school. Just as Harry was afraid that someone would do something to Hermione in the castle, Professor Karkaroff was worried about some conspiracy to find Wickdor.

"If they're so scared, why don't they just give up the game and go back to their own turf!"

On Wednesday morning, Harry exclaimed angrily when he noticed that the Beauxbatons students were still not at the Ravenclaw table.

"Say no more, Harry--"

Hermione said in a calm tone as much as she could,

"Their fears are justified, after all, the man who threw my name in the Goblet of Fire has not been found. If that person really wants to discredit Hogwarts, the warrior who attacked them is the best thing to do. ”

Harry's brow furrowed, and he instinctively wanted to refute it, but after thinking about it for a while, he realized that what Hermione said was not entirely unreasonable, so he pulled his shoulders down, looking a little dejected. Ron, who was sitting across from Harry, glanced up at him, but when Ron noticed that Hermione was watching him as well, he immediately looked away.

There was a fluttering of wings above the auditorium, and it was morning when the owls were concentrated on delivering their mail.

A letter fell from mid-air and slowly landed in front of Harry, lifting his spirits immediately.

"Oh, it's Sirius!"

After glancing at the name on the envelope, Harry exclaimed excitedly, he couldn't wait to tear open the envelope, unfold the letter and read it at a glance, "Sirius wants to talk to us about the Warrior in person!" ”

Hermione and Ron were paying attention to the letter, so Harry unfolded the letter and placed it on the table for them to read, while he continued,

"Sirius said it was inconvenient to say everything in the letter, he wanted to talk to us in person, and he must have thought it was urgent, so he wanted us to go to Hogsmeade this Saturday, and he would be waiting for us at the Three Broomsticks!"

"But isn't this a Hogsmeade open house?"

Hermione took Sirius's letter and read it, and Hermione instinctively retorted when Harry said that.

"Oh, Professor Blaine didn't seal off all the secret passages to Hogsmeade, did he?"

Harry said happily. He hadn't seen his godfather since school started, and since he was happy to let them go there on a non-open house in Hogsmeade, he knew they had a way to do it, and that seemed to mean that Sirius was in some way approving of him doing something risky.

Sirius's letter seemed to have made Harry find his backbone, and he was looking forward to the meeting, and the depression of the past few days was gone.

Hermione, though not as optimistic as Harry, didn't think Sirius would be able to solve any real problems.

However, at this time, any small help was precious to her, not to mention, she knew that Sirius had been very busy since he entered the Ministry of Magic as an Auror, and now that he was willing to make a solo trip for this matter, Hermione was very grateful.

Because of Sirius's supportive attitude, Harry and Hermione were in a much better mood today, and even the strange stares from the other houses in the class were not so unbearable.

Hermione wasn't with them in the afternoon session, after the day's lessons, Harry and Ron went down to the auditorium together, before dinner, Harry had to finish his daily training on the playground, and when he and Hermione returned more than half an hour later, Ron had already left the auditorium.

"Did you notice that Ron didn't seem quite right?"

Harry, who returned to the Great Hall, didn't notice Ron, he sat down and wiped the sweat from his forehead with a napkin, ripped open his collar, and then asked with a frown.

Hermione, who was also wiping her sweat, avoided Harry's gaze and asked in a nonchalant tone as much as she could,

"What's wrong?"

Harry didn't answer immediately. Most of his energy had been spent on Hermione being selected as a Warrior for the past few days, but even so, he sensed that something was wrong. Harry frowned as he pondered the changes in Ron's dorm room and class, but he couldn't describe them in precise words.

"Well, he seems to have something on his mind, and he is not very happy to talk"

Hermione quickly pulled food into her mouth, expecting Harry to skip the question automatically, but Harry kept looking at her, as if determined to get an answer.

"Well, he's probably worried."

Hermione mumbled, grabbing a glass of pumpkin juice and pouring it down, ignoring Harry, who didn't seem very happy with her reply.

After dinner, Harry and Hermione didn't go back to the common room, because they had to take Professor Brian's class later, and if they were back in the common room, it would take them half the time to go back and forth, and Neville at the table and a few girls from the Quidditch team outside the seats were all scrambling to finish their homework.

When the people in the auditorium were almost dispersed, the little wizards of Gryffindor who needed to attend classes hurried upstairs together, and they found the physical education classroom by familiar way, and outside the corridor dozens of meters away from the classroom, Harry and Hermione heard a burst of happy laughter from the classroom, and Harry immediately frowned, because Malfoy's voice was also in it.

Harry's brow furrowed, the good mood he had had been in by Sirius's letter vanished, and he subconsciously glanced at Hermione, and saw that her expression looked a little dark, and it was clear that she probably had the same guess as herself.

When Gryffindor and his party walked into the classroom, the happy laughter suddenly disappeared, and the Slytherin people in the classroom stared at Harry and Hermione with playful eyes when they saw them enter.

"Hey!"

Pansy Parkinson walked out of the crowd with an abominable face, and with a smug face, she pointed to the badge she wore on her chest to Hermione,

"Like this, Granger?"

Hermione pursed her lips, and when Harry saw what was on the badge on the chests of the Slytherins, Harry's face turned pale, and he stepped out of the crowd, his voice extremely gloomy,

"Take that stupid thing off, Parkinson, or I'll make you pay!"
