Chapter 585: Harry's Duel Talent
Normally, Draco would have cheered at the sight of Potter being punished, and Hufflepuff would have cast gloating glances at Hermione Granger for sharing their glory, but the scene where Professor Bryan broke George's leg just now was so shocking that no one could have a boring idea at the thought that he might have to be shot later.
The encirclement formed by the little wizards invariably spread out a little more, for fear that the blood of Potter or someone would be splashed on them.
Anyway, Hermione, Harry, Ginny, and Neville were on the field, their faces blue and struggling to withstand the spiritual suppression of Professor Bryan's gaze that they couldn't yet read.
No one expected them to shine, including Hermione and Harry. Hermione could feel the change in her resolve before she was called out by Professor Blaine, but when she stood in front of Professor Blaine, she found that her proud head seemed to be failing, and she desperately recalled Professor Blaine's teachings in this class, but found that there was not much that could help her.
"What should we do?"
Harry asked in a whisper, his voice coming out between his teeth.
Hermione couldn't answer the question, and Professor Bryan said lightly,
"So, are you ready?"
Cold sweat ran down Neville's sideburns, and he clenched his wand tightly, but ironically, probably because he was too nervous, he actually held the handle of the wand in both hands, as if he were holding a sword. Hermione, Harry, and Ginny didn't answer, their mouths tensed, and they stared at Professor Blaine's hand, as if ready to dodge at the first sign of movement.
Looking at the four little ones standing in a row, Amosta sighed slightly,
"Why, aren't you going to take the lessons of the previous group?"
What?
Hermione's eyes were wide open and there was a blank look, and Harry beside her suddenly screamed,
"Wait, Professor, we. We need to arrange it! ”
"You've only got two minutes—"
A slight smile twinked at the corners of Amosta's lips, and he folded his hands in the other direction, looking like he wasn't going to eavesdrop on tactics.
"Listen—"
Under the gaze of a circle of young wizards on the periphery, Harry called out to his three teammates, his face was pale and his breath was short,
"We can't just stand stupidly like we did, or we'll end up with George!"
"So what to do?"
Neville asked nervously, foaming at the mouth.
Harry frowned as he glanced at Professor Bryan with his back to them, thoughts that came out of nowhere kept popping into his head, as if he had practiced Quidditch for the first time, driven by complete instinct.
"We. . We can't deal with Professor Blaine, even if he says he won't use too much mana, so. So, we're on the defensive side—"
Harry's turquoise eyes kept flashing as he stared at the three of them,
"Professor Bryan can phantom and can appear from all directions, so we need to be ready to respond to attacks from all directions."
Harry stared at Hermione,
"We need to face Professor Brian head-on, and Ginny and Neville, you have your back to us and defend our back."
It wasn't hard to understand, Hermione, Ginny, and Neville just thought about it for a moment and nodded.
Normally, Hermione would always play the role of the idea, but at this point, Harry naturally took Hermione's role and made the arrangement.
"Professor Blaine once said that the problem of attack rhythm -- "
Harry turned his head desperately,
"We can't attack at the same time, that's just a waste of effort when I'm attacking. Professor Bryan will definitely dodge, and then, Hermione, you can stare at the direction of Professor Bryan's dodge and attack! ”
To do this, it seemed that it would take the tacit understanding that Professor Bryan had just mentioned, but both Hermione and Ginny understood, only Neville's eyes flashed with hesitation, not that he didn't understand, but that he didn't have confidence in his magic.
Talent is not a complete substitute for learning.
Harry racked his brains to offer some advice, but that was it, and the rest was to learn by doing.
Two minutes seemed to pass in the blink of an eye, and Professor Bryan turned back again, and when he saw the four little ones standing in a square, Harry and Hermione staring nervously at him, and Neville and Ginny completely facing away from him, his eyes flashed with appreciation, but then, the corners of his mouth pulled into a sneer,
"Can we start?"
"That's it, Professor!"
Harry said, his voice sharp, unspoken.
The young wizards who were watching the battle took a step back in unison again, and Draco looked at Harry as he made some arrangements on the field, and a twinkle flashed in his eyes. It was a response that could be seen at a glance, but he didn't expect it when no one reminded him, and it seemed that, just like on Quidditch, Potter's dueling talent was outstanding.
Sa!
It was Professor Bryan who attacked first, and this time, instead of trying to teleport in the other direction, he squinted his eyes and raised his hand to emit a black shadow, which was the stone spike that had been staring at George's thigh earlier.
The silent spell is combined with extremely sharp movements, and Professor Brian's casting speed is amazing.
Almost in the blink of an eye, the stone spike burst through the air, sending a terrifying scream towards Hermione's shoulder blades!
The long training was not without effect, Hermione caught this astonishingly fast stone spike, and after a moment of thinking between dodging and defending, Hermione raised her wrist to lay down the iron barrier and stopped the stone spike twenty feet away from her!
Bang!
A powerful voice sounded, and the violent stirring of magic caused Hermione to unconsciously stumble back, and her eyes were dizzy. But she still had a smile on her face, because the scattered rubble proved that she had blocked Professor Bryan's attack!
Many young wizards were also in good spirits because of this, and Granger's successful defense against the attack proved that they were not vulnerable, but what happened next taught them what it meant to be devastating!
Whoa, whoa, whoa!
Professor Bryan flicked his wrist defactly, and the stone and gravel that swayed in the sky suddenly changed, turning into hundreds of stone nails that turned nimbly in midair, and then, with a sharp sound of breaking through the air, all rushed towards Potter.
Such a chaotic array of attacks already covered the entire range that Harry could dodge, and he had no choice but to resist!
In the nick of time, Harry laid a barrier in front of him to block the dense stone nails that rained down, but Professor Brian didn't stupidly stand there and watch, and after finishing to contain Harry, he suddenly disappeared in place.
Neville and Ginny heard the movement behind them, but they didn't dare to look back, they kept in mind Harry's previous orders, and defended the rear, especially Neville, his eyes widened, desperately resisting the desire to turn back, and then, a cold face suddenly appeared in front of him, almost close to his body!
"Ahh
Neville let out a scream of horror as he retracted his wand in an attempt to move, but Professor Bryan grabbed his wand as he squirted a rope from the tip of his staff, quickly binding Neville and causing him to fall to the ground.
Speaking from her heart, Ginny's reaction was fast, and after realizing that Neville had been attacked, almost in the blink of an eye, she finished casting the spell, and bats poured out of the tip of her staff like a torrent, but Professor Bryan seemed to have expected that he didn't stay in front of Neville for more than half a second, and then, he dodged sideways, dodged the torrent, grabbed the short stiffness after Ginny's spell cast, and choked Ginny's throat from the oblique side!
The intense feeling of suffocation caused the whites of Ginny's eyes to roll up and her body to twitch.
At this point, Harry and Hermione finally regained their form, and Neville's painful wails from falling to the ground made them give up their defenses and turn to look back.
"Stop!"
Harry shouted angrily at Ginny's painful appearance, and then, instead of letting go, Professor Bryan pointed his wand at Ginny's eyes, giving them a cruel and grim smile.
"Drop your wand, quick!"
Amosta said coldly, and at the same time, the strength of his hand increased.
Ginny's convulsive body, like a fish suffocating out of the water, made Harry and Hermione shudder, and they dropped their wands without much thought.
However, giving up resistance is tantamount to death without waiting for salvation.
Two swift red rays of light shot out like cold lightning, and Harry and Hermione both rolled their eyes and fell to the ground weakly, not more than ten seconds before Professor Bryan attacked
