Chapter 609: Collective cheating
Four ferocious adult dragons were thrown into the thick planked paddock by Amosta, these wild dragons were wild and untamable, especially during the special period of holding eggs, and their motherhood almost made them lose their avoidance of danger, even though they had just witnessed their powerlessness, they still splashed in the paddock.
The presence of Amosta made it impossible for them to be quiet, and the prohibition that existed in the enclosure prevented them from spewing dragon breath and flying, but the Hungarian tree bee was still looking for a chance to escape, it hit the hoarding again and again, and was bounced back by the ghostly light present on the hoarding again and again, and each impact would cause the mountains to shake.
The smaller but more astute Welsh Green Dragon tried to climb up the hoard, but its sharp hooks never managed to penetrate the board.
The Swedish short-nosed dragon was clever, and it instinctively wanted to dig a large hole in the ground so that it could escape from the ground - which gave Amosta a wake-up call, and another enhancement spell was thrown over, and the ground became indestructible.
The Chinese fireball was the calmest, hiding its eggs under its belly, watching the besieged kind's attempts, and when it saw that nothing had worked, it prostrated itself as if it had resigned itself, its hideous head towards Amosta, its eyes full of wariness.
The danger is temporarily gone, but the dragon trainers are not careless, and they are trying to calm down the three fiery dragons.
"I'd suggest you stay away from these dragons during the race, Amosta-"
Charlie wiped the sweat from his forehead and panted.
He looked at Amosta with a displeased look in his eyes, and the reason went without saying. The reason why he refused to play for the professional Quidditch team after graduating that year was due to his love for fire dragons, and the act of killing wild fire dragons was unthinkable for him.
"Otherwise, those warriors will be in bad luck!"
"That's more challenging, isn't it?"
Amosta said with a smile.
Charlie shook his head,
"I really don't understand what you guys think, if you just want the warriors to have a fight with the fire dragon, you don't have to find the female dragon who hugs the nest and hatches the eggs, don't I dare tell my mother what the warriors are going to do in the first round, she hasn't been very happy with you lately, if I want to say something about the fire dragon, then she may have a bigger opinion of you."
"You mean Mrs. Weasley?"
Amosta's gaze moved away from the fire dragon, and he felt a little strange at Charlie's words,
"What's the matter, did I her off in any way?"
"She doesn't think you and Dumbledore should have singled out Hermione for the tournament, after reading Rita Skeeter's report in the Daily Prophet--"
Charlie mimicked his mother's tone,
"Oh, how can they do this, let Hermione be the representative of the underage wizards, this is not something that can be done with good grades, they should at least pick a boy!"
Amosta laughed dumbly.
They stood outside the paddock and chatted for a while, and Charlie told Amosta that they would feed the dragons a lot of sleeping potion every day to keep them quiet on the road, but they didn't carry enough to avoid mistakes, and the group had to travel day and night, so they arrived at Hogwarts earlier than planned.
The group of dragon trainers who traveled with Charlie tried their best to silence the dragons, so one by one they had to stop their useless attempts and look at Amosta sadly, they did not dare to ask the famous Amosta to leave quickly, fortunately, Amosta still has eyesight, he knows that he is not very popular with the fire dragon.
"These big guys can't escape, how about it, Charlie, do you want to go back to the castle with me, I can treat you to a drink, just take it as a pick--"
Amosta said with a smile on her face.
"Let's talk about it when we have a chance--"
Amosta's proposal did move Charlie, but he rejected it anyway,
"We have to help the dragon get used to the environment as quickly as possible, and we will be staying in a tent here before the game starts, and I have written to Hagrid in advance, and he will be responsible for providing us with supplies. Honestly--"
Charlie glanced at the darkened woods, and then said to Amosta
"I thought he would be the first to show up, you know, Hagrid has a lot of interest in dragons, and he asked me to take care of a poor little homeless guy before-"
"Oh, of course Hagrid won't be absent--"
Amosta turned around and said with a smile in one direction,
"Actually, he's been there for a while."
Boom --
The bushes shook and shook as a large black shadow leaked from behind the bushes.
"You've found out, Professor Brian--"
Hagrid smiled sheepishly as he walked out from behind the bushes, followed by Winter.
"Long time no see, Hagrid—" Charlie said in amazement, "why are you hiding yourself, and-"
Charlie glanced at Amosta and frowned at the house-elf who was trembling with fear from the fire dragon,
"Is this house-elf from Hogwarts, Hagrid, according to the statutes, you shouldn't let it over, the information about the tournament is top secret."
"It's just a little elf, Charlie, it's not a big deal, it wants to come and see me, I can't refuse, it has helped me a lot. Then again, who wouldn't want to see it, it's a fire dragon--"
Hagrid didn't take Charlie's words seriously at all, he approached the fence, stared obsessively at the fire dragons in the paddock, and whispered,
"It's beautiful—"
Charlie obviously knew Hagrid well, and he shook his head helplessly,
"No one else came along, did you?"
Hearing this, Hagrid's huge body writhed uneasily, his gaze still on the fire dragons, but his tone was a little unnatural,
"Of course not, Charlie, I was cautious along the way"
yes, it's very cautious indeed-
The corners of Amosta's mouth twitched.
There were two people crouching behind the bushes where Hagrid was hiding, and Amosta was really sweating for Madame Maxim, and with her 'taller' frame than Hagrid, it was a lot of effort to hide behind the not-so-tall bushes.
Of course, Hermione in the cloak of invisibility was not much better than Mrs. Maxime, and from a distance of thirty feet, Amosta seemed to be able to hear the little girl's heart beating violently, and the powerful mental power allowed Amosta to sense that Hermione was probably on the verge of collapse.
Needless to say, a little further away, in order to see the situation in the field clearly, even climbed into a tree Igor Karkarov.
The principals of these two schools have done their best for their respective warriors, and of course, Hagrid has contributed a lot.
"I'll go back first-"
Charlie was telling Hagrid to make sure he had plenty of food for the dragons tomorrow, as they spent most of their time sleeping.
Amosa knew that his words here would make it difficult for many people, so he offered to take his leave.
Behind the bushes, and from what Hermione knew about Hagrid, she thought that Hagrid might not be happy to leave those 'cute' fire dragons all night, and she still remembered that Harry was still waiting for her in the common room, and after a desperate last glance at the behemoth in the paddock, Hermione quietly retreated, without alarming Mrs. Maxim intently—
