Chapter 615: Match Day
The mist was shrouded and the morning light was faint.
Above the gloomy canopy, an owl that had gone out to forage for food and returned late rode the wind, spreading its wings around the tallest astronomy tower at Hogwarts and flying wearily towards the owl's shed, but just as it flashed past the Ravenclaw tower, its sharp vision caught the porch erected above the valley, and a majestic circular building it had never seen before appeared out of thin air overnight.
Curiosity triumphed over exhaustion, and the owl made a sharp dive, spanning a distance of miles in the blink of an eye, and then with the oncoming gust of wind, the brown owl quickly climbed up, and finally, it came to rest on a huge screen.
Suspended from a bird's nest-like structure, the huge screen is black and made up of many stone slabs, each of which is engraved with an unimaginable magical corridor. The owl bent its head and pecked a few times with its hard beak, but the curious temptation was defined as an attack, and a soft wave of air emerged out of thin air, blowing the owl into the air.
Goo Goo –
The owl, which had lost a few feathers, hovered above the building, crying discontentedly.
Then the owl turned its attention elsewhere, and with its outstanding vision in the dark, it immediately noticed that it was not the only one hanging in mid-air.
There were many small things in the air that seemed strange to it, indescribably strange, all with small white wings, and these wings trembled so fast that it had seen some people holding such things to their eyes when they were sending letters to wizards, and they would glow violently white from time to time, but they did not have wings like these little things in front of them.
The owl didn't fly any lower, because the lower it was, the dust in the air was thicker, which made it uncomfortable.
However, the smoke did not affect its vision, and it could still see what the wizards below were doing.
A large number of wizards were wielding sticks, and then planks that lay on the ground flew into the sky, and they stuffed themselves into the load-bearing ports reserved for the steel frame, forming a ring of solid ground.
Bang!
With a crisp pop, the owl jumped, and it hurried to climb higher.
"Amosta, the blanket you want!"
A wizard appeared out of thin air, carrying a large gray cloth bag, and after looking left and right, he found no one, so he pointed his wand to his throat and exclaimed,
"Where are you?"
"Thanks, Ludo, you've helped me a lot--"
A short time later, at the top of the ring, a man emerged from a small hidden room behind the referee's box, standing in the stands dozens of feet high, but still pinpointing the person who called him.
"How about that wonderful alchemy prop, will something go wrong?"
Another phantasmagion, Ludo appeared beside Amosta with a bag, he glanced at the unknown part in Amosta's hand, and said with great interest.
"I don't know, Ludo, but I'm sure it won't be a problem, I'm planning to try it at seven--"
Ludo noticed that he was not alone in the studio behind Amosta, and that two goblins were also busy inside, so he immediately retracted his neck and lowered his voice a lot.
"I got it from the Ministry's warehouse, and I bought it when we were preparing for the Quidditch final, so I didn't have to spend any money, so Barty was happy to say yes!"
Amosta thanked him again, and he looked around and breathed a sigh of relief to see that the arena had finally taken shape.
There was still a lot of smoke and dust in the air, which made everything in sight gray, so Amosta walked to the guardrail, and swiped from the sky to the ground with his wand, and the next second, a wonderful wave rippled, and the smoke and dust fell back to the ground in an instant as if under great gravity, and even the owl in mid-air suffered.
Amosta nodded in satisfaction from the sight of his eyes, and he pointed his wand at the bag Ludo had brought.
Shout--
Bundles of black carpet popped out of the bag, evenly distributed throughout the arena, and then, stretching their bodies to fit the ground, making the new arena even more beautiful.
"That's nice—"
Ludo said happily that he found that the spectator seat behind him was not a simple chair, but also had a small table that could be rotated on the armrest, which could be used to put some fruit or something.
"What about Dumbledore?" Ludo asked, "Why isn't he here?" ”
Amosta looked up at the eager east and muttered for a moment,
"I can't answer that exactly, Ludo, but from my guess, he's probably just getting up and shaving his beard in the headmaster's private lavish bathroom—"
Ludo immediately burst into a burst of cheerful laughter, but when he found out that Amosta was about to return to the studio, his face changed and he hurriedly grabbed his sleeve, and Ludo became distracted again in the face of Amosta's inquiring eyes.
"That's right, Amosta, you should know. Well, it's a lot of attention, I mean out there."
"If you want to ask me who will win the game and tell you the result so you can win big at the casino, Ludo-"
Amosta said calmly,
"Then I'm going to tell you, anyone can win. I warn you, Ludo, don't take those bad habits into the Triwizard Tournament, I don't want any more scandals along the way. ”
"I thank you for your magnanimity, Amosta--" said Ludo eagerly, "but that's a lot of gold, and you have a chance at your fingertips!" ”
Amosta's eyes were a little cold, and he was about to say something, but there was a sudden noise outside the arena, and Amosta immediately knew that it was Charlie who had escorted several fire dragons to the arena.
"Don't do stupid things, Ludo--"
Amosta hurriedly dropped a sentence, and the figure disappeared suddenly, leaving Ludo Bagman alone to stomp his feet in frustration and reluctance.
Four huge carriages slammed into the ground from mid-air, and the wooden wheels were deformed to the point of exaggeration, but they finally withstood the test and landed safely with the four dragons.
"How's our 'protagonist'?"
Amosta asked loudly as he walked towards Charlie, who had jumped out of the carriage.
"Sleep soundly, Amosta!"
Charlie likewise replied loudly,
"It will be a few hours before they wake up, and before we can feed them the sleeping potion, Hagrid and his little elf named Donmu feed them for us, you know, the hungry dragon is even more dangerous for the warriors!"
A huge crack cracked in the ground, and a slope appeared in everyone's sight, and at the other end of the slope, there was a faint glow of fire.
Charlie commanded his companions to slowly drive the wagon into the makeshift dungeon, where the dragons would be housed before the game began.
Another carriage leads from the bridge, and inside the carriage is a makeshift kitchen, where Hogwarts house-elves will take care of the early arrivals, who can enjoy a delicious lunch inside the arena and a delicious drink during the game.
Although it is not as majestic as the Quidditch final field, there are many huge antennas erected between the mountains around the arena, and some elves and WWN staff are busy at the foot of each antenna.
When the morning light broke through the last rays of gloom between the mountains and ravines, Amosta stood in the already very different arena, and fired a ray of blue electric light towards the huge screen hanging high, accompanied by a dazzling change of light and shadow, the black screen finally formed a stable picture, the picture was the center of the arena surrounded by a circle of fields with complex terrain.
From half a year ago until today, everything has finally borne fruit.
