Chapter 700: The Boys' Style

What do you think of Fleur's invitation? Harry froze, his eyes dazed.

What can you think of that, didn't Fleur already say it, Fleur chose him because of Harry's friendly behavior when she first came to Hogwarts, and she liked the dress he gave him very much, of course, there was some misunderstanding, Harry did want to explain clearly, but Fleur didn't give him a chance to speak, did she?

Hermione was angry because Harry had agreed to Fleur's invitation?

Ron was equally stunned, he looked at Hermione with a strange expression.

Looking at the two dumbfounded boys in front of her, Hermione shook her head and sighed heavily, looking like 'you are not saved', but the anger in her heart also dissipated a lot.

"Let's go back and talk about it—"

With that as she said that, Hermione took another step forward.

This year's class was over, and although the professors had left a lot of homework, no young wizard except Hermione could afford to leave this endless happy time in the boring library. Gryffindor students who love the hustle and bustle are almost 'drunk and dreaming of death' these days.

During the day, they flock to the grounds outside the castle to have snowball fights and play games, and when night falls, they return to the common room for gatherings, which will not disperse until late at night.

When the portrait of the fat lady was unscrewed, the candlelight of the warm common room shone brightly, and the jubilant atmosphere was much more enthusiastic than the previous days.

Fred and George are standing at a round table selling their new product, a very interesting cookie.

Just eat it and you will turn into a canary covered in feathers and it will last for a minute. Ever since Neville had been 'tricked' into advertising the biscuits, it had been selling very well, and Neville himself seemed to be fond of canary biscuits, and he gave Fred George a lot of silver for them.

"Oh, look who's here, the most enviable boy at the moment!"

The twin brothers, who were standing on a high place, immediately spotted the three Harry who had entered the doorway, and the two brothers jumped up and jumped over the heads of the other pair of brothers (Colin Creevey and Dennis Creevey) and landed in front of Harry who was caught off guard.

"You always work miracles, don't you, Harry!"

George patted Harry's arm heavily, and Fred winked at him.

"Take a picture, Harry, just to celebrate!"

I don't know when, Colin has already raised his camera, eagerly.

"Oh, what?"

Harry reacted immediately, and he covered his face with his palm,

"Don't do that, Colin!"

Suddenly, the noisy lounge was filled with boys scattered around Harry, many applauding him, but many looking at him with jealousy.

Harry's refusal didn't work, and Colin's camera was already flashing a series of dazzling lights.

"That's true, Harry!"

Seamus squeezed out of the crowd, smiling and punching Harry's shoulder armor and exclaiming,

"It's not strange at all, isn't it, the boy who defeated the mysterious man, what girl can resist your charm?"

Harry had begun to figure out what the noise was all about, and he shouted to explain the misunderstanding, Fleur didn't just like him to be his dance partner, they didn't know about the dress.

But in this case, who bothered to listen to what Harry was shouting, the boys lined up to come to Harry, and everyone had to slap or punch him in any part of his upper body, as a sign of respect for Harry for 'getting his hands on the hottest girls in Hogwarts today'!

"Oh, why don't you look so happy, Hermione?"

Harry was 'swallowed' by the flowing crowd, and George withdrew his gaze and looked at Harry with his arms folded and his emotions gradually rising with a smile.

"I think it must be because Harry stole the limelight because he finally made a big news!" Fred said with a wry smile at Hermione and Ron.

"Ahem!"

Ron clenched his fist under his lips and coughed solemnly,

"Listen to me, you two, there's nothing funny about it!"

Fred and George, however, only looked at each other, and then, with a strange expression, they kept repeating, 'This is nothing funny,' and ran to the side to count the extra silver coins in their money bags tonight.

"Don't be angry, Hermione--"

Staring angrily at the backs of Fred and George who were leaving, Ron withdrew his gaze and looked at Hermione with a little embarrassment,

"You know, Hermione, he loves to make such boring little jokes."

Hermione's straight face was certainly not due to Fred and George's intended teasing, but Ron's pale comfort softened Hermione's face a little, and after a soft sigh, she and Ron struggled to avoid the crowd and come to the couch by the fireplace.

The common room was bustling, but everyone's attention was on Harry, who had just done something big, so when Ron and Hermione sat down, they looked at each other with unnatural expressions, as if they were the only ones left.

Gradually, both of their cheeks climbed into an unnatural red, and Ron looked away in a panic, looked at the exuberant flames in the fireplace, and tugged at his neckline,

"Ahem, it's so hot in here--"

Hermione just pursed her lips and didn't make any sound, and her silence made Ron even more worried, his eyes wandered, and then fell on Harry, who was surrounded by the crowd, he looked at Harry in silence for a moment, and suddenly smiled,

"He's still that popular, isn't he?"

"It's not all--"

Unexpectedly, Hermione actually reacted, her gaze leaping over Lavender's head to the pale girl who was reclining on the edge of the old chest of drawers.

"Oh, Ginny?"

Ron looked at it, and found Ginny, who was looking at Harry, with a look of dejection on her pretty face, and even her flaming red hair had become much darker.

"That's right, Hermione, I dare say Ginny must have suffered a big blow, honestly, I didn't expect her to be so obsessed with Harry all the time--"

Ron shrugged his shoulders and said casually.

As if dissatisfied with Ron's light tone, Hermione frowned and glanced at Ron, but said nothing more.

About an hour later, Harry was late, his face flushed, perhaps because he had been doused with a lot of butterbeer or because he had heard a lot of compliments that were different from what he had done before, and he had a stupid smile on his lips, as if he had really done something beautiful.

"What are you talking about?"

Harry sat down next to Hermione, seemingly having forgotten all the questions he had raised from the headmaster's office, and he looked at Ron with a grin.

In Harry's absence, Ron and Hermione had a completely awkward conversation, they didn't dare to touch the topic of the Ball, it was so tormenting that Ron didn't know what Hermione was thinking, anyway, he had to rely on great perseverance to stop his urge to escape.

When Harry returned, the awkward atmosphere suddenly cleared, and Ron breathed a sigh of relief, and he also noticed that Hermione's shoulders were slightly stretched, but then, Hermione sat up again, and the sizable silhouette of the girl's upper body burned Ron's vision like a flame, making him quickly hold his breath and focus his eyes on Harry.

"I'll talk to Ron again, how long are you going to be proud--"

Hermione pulled her face down and glared at Harry.

"Uh, what?"

Harry rubbed his messy hair and said in a daze, but when his gaze touched the seriousness and hatred in Hermione's eyes, he shuddered violently, and immediately regained his senses, and immediately remembered something before entering the common room,

"I'm not complacent, Hermione—"

Well, Harry had figured it out now that Hermione was no longer happy about him accepting Fleur's invitation. But Harry still wondered why Hermione was so angry about it.

"It's not my problem, it's Fleur who invited me."

Harry said a little aggrieved.

"Why can't you move?"

Hermione took a sharp breath and glared at Harry angrily, wanting to question him why he couldn't use his brain, but in the end, she restrained her emotions and softened her tone a lot, but she still asked with an unkind face,

"When the hell will you realize that Fleur is using you, Harry?"
