Chapter 718: Going to Grimmauld Place for a holiday

On the second day of Christmas, when Harry had risen from his sleepy eyes and the four-poster bed, he found that the snow had stopped outside, and the pale sunlight was shining through the open curtains into the dormitory, and had climbed up the wall opposite the bed.

The dormitory was quiet, except for Ron, who was snoring in the futon, the bedding and luggage on Neville, Seamus, and Dean were gone, and they had left the school in Hogwarts in advance after an extra day for the prom.

In fact, most of the students who stayed were for last night's dance, and Harry bet that there would be no one in Beauxbatons' carriage or Durmstrang's ghost ship today.

Harry lifted the futon and staggered aboard, crumpling the expensive dress that Mrs. Weasley had chosen for him next to his bed and tossing it into the laundry basket for the next chance to wear it, perhaps after he graduated from Hogwarts.

Dizzy to the rhythmic sound of the pendulum, Harry came to the bed and stared out the window at the white and flawless world.

At first glance, Harry noticed that the fairytale ice castle on the Black Lagoon had disappeared, and Durmstrong's ghost ship was the only creation on the frozen Black Lagoon.

This discovery made Harry feel a sense of loss. Regardless, last night's ball in the Ice Castle created by the school's professors was one of the best nights of his Hogwarts career, and Harry bet the young wizards who didn't attend the dance would be mad to hear that they had such an amazing night when they started school.

Hatche –

Standing by the window, Harry yawned, not just because of last night's dance, but after the dance was over, the students returned to the castle under the guidance of the professor, and in the foyer, Hermione suddenly quietly grabbed him and Ron, who had somehow danced with Lavender, and said that she was going to the library and asked him if they would like to accompany him.

When they heard this, Harry and Ron, who was a little drunk, almost thought that Hermione was crazy.

It's not strange that Hermione goes to the library at any time of the semester, but last night was the Yule Ball, and every young wizard only gets one chance to experience it at Hogwarts, as the Triwizard Tournament is held every five years.

However, when Hermione explained the reason, Harry and Ron, the two of them willingly went with her.

Regardless, figuring out the secret of the golden egg Hermione got after the first game was a top priority, as it was about Hermione's safety in the second game.

Gollum --

The roar of his stomach dragged Harry's mind back, he rubbed his belly, glanced towards the door, and then at his bed, and just as he was hesitating whether to give in to sleepiness or hunger, there was a sudden sound of hurried footsteps outside the dormitory door, and then—

Bang!

The dorm door was pushed open with all that seemed to Hermione panting in front of him.

The delicate and beautiful Hermione was gone last night, and now Hermione's hair was unkempt again, and she was wearing a yellow sweater that was much lighter than the Crook Hill in her arms, and the lower half of her body was paired with light blue jeans, she was completely an ordinary girl next door.

"I can't believe it--"

When she rushed into the dormitory, Hermione still had excitement on her face, but when she saw Harry, who was still wearing pajamas by the window, looking dazed, and Ron, who was awakened by the sound of the door crashing and trying to get out of the bedding, she immediately wrinkled her brows,

"Why haven't you gotten up yet?"

"That's because—"

Ron was like Harry just like Harry hache after hacher, his eyes didn't open at all, he just squinted and rubbed his clothes,

"We stayed in the library with a madman until two o'clock in the morning last night—"

"Stop grinding, Ron, get up!"

Hermione strode over, tossed Ron's clothes into her arms, and then kept urging Harry to get dressed and go downstairs with him.

"What the hell is going on, Hermione?"

Harry and Ron, who had hurriedly dressed, were dragged out of the dorm by Hermione before they even had time to wash up.

"Wait and see, Harry, you'll be surprised!"

As she descended the spiral staircase, Hermione grinned at Harry's inquiry.

As they approached the common room, Harry heard a familiar voice from below, and after a moment of trance, an indescribable ecstasy welled up in his heart, which he thought was impossible, but he was desperate for his guess to come true.

Anxiously, Harry jumped off the platform over Hermione, stopped the momentum, and continued to jump down, finally, he saw the middle of the common room, surrounded by several students talking to people.

The moment he saw him, Harry's face was excited, and his face was full of joy, and the excitement swelled rapidly in his heart, and even his scalp tingled.

The man with his back to Harry heard the sound of the landing, and he slowly turned to look at the staircase, smiled happily and opened his arms to him.

"Sirius, why are you here!"

Harry screamed, and he couldn't contain his excitement any longer, and rushed forward, jumping over a couch that stood in the way, and hugged Sirius fiercely.

It wasn't until Hermione and Ron, surprised, came downstairs and walked over to him that the father and son let go of each other and looked lovingly at Harry, who was already about the same size as himself, and Sirius reached out and rubbed Harry's messy hair,

"Isn't Christmas about spending time with your family?"

Sirius said with a smile, and Harry was too happy to speak, just smiling silly.

Spending Christmas with his family was a matter of course, but for Harry, it was a dream he hadn't fulfilled for more than a decade.

Looking at the father and son who looked at each other, Hermin, who knew that Harry was not easy, wiped the corners of his eyes, and Ron also blew his nose emotionally.

"Oh, I don't think we should be delayed, Harry, and Ron, Hermione, I need you to pack your bags, we still have a long way to go!"

After rubbing Harry's hair again, Sirius said to them with a smile.

"Where are we going, Sirius!"

Harry asked excitedly.

"I remember telling you that my ancestors left me a house, and I'm living there—"

Sirius pushed Harry to pack his bags,

"I asked Kreacher, the house-elf who served the Black family, you saw him in the Quidditch final, and I made him decorate the old house so we could spend the rest of your Christmas vacation there, and by the way, Remus is there at the moment, so we'd better not keep him waiting too long, at the very least, we'll have to get back to dinner!"

"Professor Lupin!" Hermione whispered excitedly.

"Shall we go too, Sirius?"

Ron didn't expect Sirius to invite him and Hermione as well, and he asked with wide eyes.

"Oh, what's the problem, Ron, during the summer vacation, Molly and Arthur also let me sleep in your house, didn't they?"

Sirius said with a smile,

"I had already said hello to Dumbledore before I came here, and he had no problem with that, except to tell you not to forget your Christmas holiday homework, I was going to call Amosta with me, but he was back in London—

Little ones, we've missed the Hogwarts Express, I can't take you three Apparitions alone, we'll only be able to do the Knight's Bus, and if you want to see your Christmas presents as soon as possible, pack your bags as soon as possible! ”
