Chapter 733: New School Year

Amosta had planned to have Remus and Sirius take Harry out of the orphanage early the next morning and return to the wizarding world.

However, the men seemed to have reached an agreement, insisting on staying here for one more day, and he thought that they would still want to ask him something about Barty Crouch, but in reality, they did not ask anything, and spent the extra day only trying to help the orphanage, and perhaps, in this way, they wished to express their apologies for coming here without permission.

But they didn't have dinner at the orphanage, and before leaving, Remus took the time to talk to him about the problems facing the alchemy workshop.

"-- The United States also has a thriving magical civilization."

Amosta pondered, and after listening to Remus's account, he probably guessed what was going on. The Magical Congress of the United States has repeatedly questioned the safety of the products they sell, but the heads of the relevant leading departments have some ideas about the income of the workshop.

In business, this is actually a very normal thing.

On the European side, the goblins have intentionally or unintentionally involved this alchemy item with him in the promotion and publicity of Remus, and his reputation is still very useful on the European side, but the United States on the other side of the Atlantic is not so jealous of him.

"We can't give up the vast market over there."

Amosta said slowly,

"Well, Remus, when you apply to the Magical Congress of the United States for entry, by the way, submit an application for me to enter the country, I think it is necessary for me to go over and see for myself-"

"No problem, Amosta, it's the best-"

Remus nodded, a smile tinged with bitterness.

On the one hand, Amosta wants to go out in person because of the complex environment of the magical society there, and on the other hand, this trip will inevitably have to deal with the Magical Congress of the United States, and as a werewolf, he will inevitably be despised and wary.

Hermione, who was listening to Professor Bryan and Remus's conversation, pulled her lips secretly, looking a little dissatisfied.

Professor Bryan was planning to go to the United States, which meant that he would be absent from school again in the first half of the year.

This year's Christmas break was the most days he had spent in the orphanage since he graduated from Hogwarts, and it wasn't until the children at the orphanage started school that he packed his bags and left quietly late at night, when no one knew about it.

The storm is coming, and the darkness is about to return.

First the turmoil, then the war, it was inevitable to happen, neither Amosta nor Dumbledore was sure that they could control the scale of the war, this war was bound to affect the Muggle world, and in the few remaining peacetime, Amosta wanted to spend more time with the children and staff here.

The Christmas holidays in the Muggle world were a bit longer than Hogwarts, and by the time Amosta returned to Hogwarts, the school had already been in school for four days.

The bitter cold of winter comes and goes quickly, and when it goes, it is as slow as peeling off the cocoon.

The snow on the Hogwarts grounds was almost as thick as when he left, except that the snow was covered with messy footprints. The surface of the Black Lake is still a layer of ice, but there are miniature ice castles near the lake, near the embankment.

Most of these ice castles, which are halfway between Philius and Hagrid, are clumsy and unaesthetically unattractive, and Amosta knows at first glance that they are the work of young wizards.

Even in the days of the Muggle world, he had been reading the Daily Prophet.

During the Triwizard Tournament, at the Christmas Ball, he and Dumbledore had come up with an eye-catching ice castle, which had spread throughout the British wizarding world, much to the chagrin of countless wizards who had not been able to witness the scene.

Strangely, however, when the newspaper mentions the Icecastle Shaper, it only mentions him by name and not Dumbledore.

It's not because Amosta secretly stuffed Mr. Guffey, the editor-in-chief of the Daily Prophet, with a lot of gold.

Perhaps, for more than half a century, people have become numb to all the achievements of Dumbledore, and people need a sense of freshness, and the Daily Prophet saw through this before writing about him.

And after the exaggerated report of the Daily Prophet, the wizards who thought they had seen through Amosta Bryan were once again amazed by his superb magical skills.

Almost half of the Transfiguration Today book that Professor McGonagall sent him during the Christmas holidays featured prominent scholars in the wizarding world discussing how difficult and incredible it was to conjure up such a magnificent ice castle.

Among the hot topics, his reputation will rise to the next level in the wizarding world, which is something that Amosta would love to see, as it will increase his weight. That is, the right to speak in the wizarding world.

It was the middle of the night, and there was no one in the Hogwarts campus, except for the occasional night watchman behind the dim windows of Beauxbatons' carriage and Durmstrang's ghost ship.

"I'll tell Professor Sprout about this, and he'll decide what to do with you!"

As Amosta stepped up the marble staircase outside the foyer, he heard Professor McGonagall's angry voice.

He walked briskly into the foyer and found Professor McGonagall, dressed in a fuchsia dressing gown and holding a stack of documents, on the small platform on the second floor of the castle, reprimanding two second-year Hufflepuff wizards, while Filch, with a gloating expression, stood behind Professor McGonagall, flicking the beard of Lady Loris, who was crouching on his shoulder.

"What's up, Professor McGonagall, what's wrong?"

Amosta asked knowingly as she walked up the stairs in the foyer with a smile.

"Filch grabbed two little wizards on the night tour who were throwing big dung eggs at the paintings on the walls and the spiral staircase, oh too much, it's only the first week of school!"

Professor McGonagall said angrily, but when she spoke, she froze, and then quickly turned her head to look at Amosta, who was going upstairs.

"Oh, Amosta, you're back!"

Professor McGonagall said in surprise, but before Amosta could respond, her face changed, her eyes sank, her lips pursed tightly, and she looked at Amosta,

"Oh, I thought you had resigned, Professor Blaine—"

Amosta smiled awkwardly, and was about to quibble, when Professor McGonagall 'roared',

"In the first week of school, I didn't show up, I didn't write a letter to tell me or Albus explained the reason, I just asked the owl to come to Professor Bryan with a leave note, what do you think of your behavior?!"

Good guys--

The two Hufflepuff wizards peeked at Professor Blaine, who was a little embarrassed, and was moved.

"I review--"

Amosta smiled apologetically,

"I can swear this is the last time. I mean, before I take a leave of absence next time, I'll be sure to give a reason-"

Perhaps for the sake of Amosta's travels, Professor McGonagall didn't block Amosta on the second floor for half an hour to preach, and after sending away the two Hufflepuff wizards, she gave Amosta some documents that needed to be dealt with, and she got out of the way.

"Oh, Amosta, at dinner, Filius suggested that we go to Hogsmeade for a drink this weekend, as if to celebrate the new semester, he invited Pomona, Alasto, and me, if you have time, to join in--"

"Ah, no problem—" Amosta, standing in the middle of the stairs on the second and third floors, turned back and said briskly, "I'd love to get involved—"

"By the way, Amosta—"

Just as Amosta was about to leave, Professor McGonagall, who suddenly remembered something, said again,

"I've heard from many students that the skills they've learned in your PE class are very useful, and if you're going to continue this course next school year, then I recommend that you prepare your materials and submit them to the School Board and the Ministry of Magic for review as soon as possible--"
