Chapter 747: It's Not That Easy to End
Today was supposed to be a normal day, and the encounter with Cedric and Akihari in the morning was just some unfortunate thing that happened on an ordinary day - for Harry. However, what happened later was completely beyond Harry's comprehension.
Hermione was nearly killed.
If he hadn't realized it up to now, he would be too stupid.
But why?
Looking at the pale, unconscious girl in the hospital bed in the headmaster's office, Harry wondered deeply.
Why would anyone want to kill Hermione, who did it, was it the one who made Hermione a warrior? Was it Voldemort's order?
Harry instinctively thought, because they had already discussed that Hermione becoming a warrior would not exist alone, and if anyone wanted to do something, there must be other actions, as for identifying Voldemort as the murderer. There was no particular reason for this, all the misfortunes they had suffered in the past few years had more or less to do with the most evil wizard in history.
Looking at Harry, whose eyes and expression still hadn't gotten rid of Minerva's eyes, Amosta sighed slightly, in his opinion, this was a frightened little boy.
It is true that the children chosen by Gryffindor are not lacking in courage, even Peter's fellow, but not lacking courage does not mean that they will not be afraid, especially since what is happening in front of them is beyond the scope of the young wizard's comprehension.
The incident in front of him was a naked murder case, a cruel, brutal, and completely unexpected murder against a student, which was completely different in nature from the adventures that Harry had experienced before, always watched by protective eyes.
In this case, the dangers of the wizarding world were truly revealed to Harry.
"--Antecedents and consequences"
Harry's face turned pale and he grunted, sensing that Professor McGonagall had put her hand on his shoulder, casting him an unbearable look.
There was pity and concern in his eyes, and under Professor McGonagall's gaze, Harry felt less fearful in his heart, but at the same time, a melted anger had begun to roar in his heart!
He's going to kill that persecuted Hermione's wizard, whoever he is!
"Harry--"
Dumbledore blinked tiredly as anger flashed in his turquoise eyes and a clear killing intent began to linger around his thin body,
"Trust me, trust Professor Blaine, we'll get this into the matter, and we'll get Hermione's killers the punishment they deserve—"
For the first time, Harry felt that Dumbledore was a little annoying, he wanted more than just the truth and the punishment of the murderer. Personally slashed the real murderer behind the scenes!
"Mr. Potter?"
Just as Harry's heart was filled with endless cruel thoughts, Professor Bryan suddenly spoke again, and he subconsciously met the pair of lilac eyes.
Amosta looked at Harry calmly,
"I know you're desperate for Hermione's killer to be punished and avenge your friend, and everyone here, I mean, everyone in this office feels the same anger as you, but the first thing we need to do is find out the truth and tell us how it happened--"
There was a hint of non-denial in Professor Bryan's tone.
So, Harry began to say that he could not find out the truth alone, and he knew that.
Harry was still a little sane, and he didn't tell Professor Bryan the real reason for their visit to the post office, though he didn't think that in his current situation, Professor Bryan wouldn't hold them accountable for donating anything to the orphanage without permission.
He told them that he went to the post office with Hermione and Ron because, Hermione had received a notice that there were some fan letters from her and a package, and after picking up the package, they went to the Three Broomsticks Bar for a drink, and where, Hermione opened those letters and packages of hers.
"Tell me more about the roses--"
Amosta ordered in a non-wavering tone, the problem was something that could be seen at a glance.
"It's a pink one, yes, it looks like it's been magical."
Harry's gaze shifted to the snack box at the end of Hermione's bed,
"Because of that rose. It's beautiful, and the sheen on it should have been made by magic."
How dare you touch a magic item of unknown origin?!
Professor McGonagall's chest bulged all of a sudden, Hermione was already lying there, and she could only stare at Harry with hatred, but considering that the child was feeling so uncomfortable right now, she didn't blame him.
"I'm sorry you to tell Filch, Professor McGonagall—"
When Harry's voice landed, Amosta immediately looked at Professor McGonagall,
"From now on, all items and letters sent to Hogwarts from the outside world will be taken into custody by him and sent to the Student Security Office, where they will be checked by me and returned to the students. Whatever was sent to the student from the post office was also taken back to Hogwarts by him and handed over to me for inspection. The professor's is no exception--"
Professor McGonagall hesitated, but nodded.
Amosta's approach is sure to cause some students and staff to be unhappy, but it is necessary to take responsibility for the safety of the children in the castle.
After saying that, Amosta looked at Dumbledore,
"Do you think there's anything else you need to add, Headmaster?"
"You've thought it through, Amosta, I don't have anything more to add-"
Dumbledore shook his head, then looked at Professor McGonagall,
"Minerva, I need you to take Harry to Poppy"
"I'm fine!"
Harry screamed violently, his pale face contorted as he met the gazes of Professors Dumbledore and Bryan,
"I want to. Call. I'm going to, kill--"
"We've got the most out of the situation, Harry--"
Amosta said calmly,
"We'll get to the bottom of this, I think Headmaster Dumbledore is right, what you need most now is rest."
"Let's go, Potter, let's go--"
Professor McGonagall wrapped her arms around Harry's shoulders and pulled him out.
"What about Hermione!"
Harry knew he couldn't disobey Dumbledore and Professors Blaine's orders, and as he was pulled away by Professor McGonagall, he turned his head to glare at his best friend at Hogwarts and exclaimed,
"She needs treatment, she needs to go to the school hospital!"
"Let's go, Potter!"
Professor McGonagall's tone was much harsher,
"Professors Dumbledore and Bryan will take care of her, and you'll have to go with me to the hospital for a check-up, and Mr. Weasley happens to be there—"
The door closed, and Harry's reluctant eyes disappeared from Dumbledore and Amosta's vision.
Tuk, tuk, tuk –
Dumbledore had just turned his gaze to Amosta, and was about to say something, when an owl that suddenly appeared outside his window, pecking at the glass, caught his eye.
"It's Cornelius--"
Dumbledore walked over and got the letter, and after unfolding the letter and scanning it twice, Dumbledore said to Amosta,
"What happened in Hogsmeade, the Ministry of Magic already knows, twenty minutes later, Cornelius and Umbridge and Amelia will come to Hogwarts through Floo.com--"
With that, Dumbledore walked over to the extinguished fireplace and waved his wand to make the fireplace glow green, opening up access to connect the school's fireplace to Floo's net.
"Come on, come on--"
The original couch in the office had been transformed into Hermione's hospital bed, and Amosta stood beside Hermione's bed and waved his wand to conjure a new couch out of the air.
Leaning back on the sofa, his back sinking into the soft back of the sofa, Amosta looked lazy, but the anger between his eyebrows and eyes, and the coldness of his words, let people know that his heart was by no means as calm as he appeared,
"If they don't come, I'll come to the door too, and it's not so easy to end--"
