Chapter 891: Blind Pig Bar
Raid!
The blurred black shadow had not arrived, but the oncoming wind had already stirred her hair, Amelia shuddered for a moment, she subconsciously put her hand in her pocket to get the wand, her movements were too slow compared to the black shadow, she simply did not have time to complete the spell.
Luckily, Remus was much more experienced, and his hand had already touched his wand while Amelia was still flustered by the appearance of the shadow.
"Armor protection!"
Remus shouted, and the air in front of the three people rippled with a clear breeze, invisible light and shadow stretched and expanded in the wind, and an invisible barrier quickly unfolded.
The black shadow that fell from the sky was so sharp that it was able to dodge in mid-air with nowhere to be forced, and in the face of the rapidly expanding barrier, the black shadow curled up on all fours, and deftly flipped over the boundary of the ironclad barrier released by Remus, and then, with the help of force, the hind limbs suddenly accelerated, like the wind, swept past Remus's ears, and rushed straight towards Amosta, who was protected by him!
Damn it!
Remus and Amelia were horrified for a moment, and they quickly turned to look at Amosta, who was standing behind them, and at a glance--
Meow!
It was a cat, a luster gray coat dotted with irregularly shaped black spots, shaggy ears much larger than any cat Remus had ever seen, and the cat's unusual place was its tail, which looked like a lion's, with a thick tail root and a slender tip, and a very short layer of bristles attached to it, also gray.
The cat landed deftly on Amosta's shoulder, sniffed at Amosta's hair, and then crouched down contentedly, licking its paws.
"This"
Meow!
Before Amosta could speak, the cat, named Hobie, was already impatient, and it played with Amosta's cheek with its paws, making him face the painted wall, and called out repeatedly, urging Amosta to hurry in.
"I guess it's possible that it escaped from the Magical Beasts Nature Reserve, and there have been a lot of wild magical animals that have been lost there recently, Amosta, you'd better stay away from it, this animal is dangerous."
"I think it likes me."
"Wild?"
Amosta pursed his lips,
In the midst of Remus and Amelia's tightly knit gazes, Amosta reached out and touched the cat's soft gray neck, rubbed it a few times, and pulled out a brass sign from it.
Amosta said,
"Maybe it's because the color of my hair is similar to the color of its coat."
Amelia, who was stunned, suddenly came back to her senses, but her tone was still very surprised,
"It's a raccoon!"
"Uh, you know this cat?"
Amosta smiled and looked at the gray cat,
"Hobie--"
Amelia's face turned pale, and she gasped and looked at Amosta,
The unexpected scene made Remus stumble for a long time, and finally, he looked at Amosta, who was raising his eyebrows and crying and laughing,
Amelia resisted the urge to roll her eyes, she felt that Amosta Blaine's tall figure was crumbling in her heart, and it was hard to imagine that Amosta, who was like a god who saved 100,000 people in the Quidditch World Cup, could be so out of tune.
Remus was used to it, and he stared carefully at the gray cat, which was fatter than Hermione's Crookshan, but unusually sensitive, and suddenly, his expression was a little terrified.
Remus said in a solemn tone,
"Do you think this cat could be an Animagus?"
"It's not a cat!"
"Amosta?"
"That's your name, isn't it?"
Meow--
The grey cat, which was licking its paws, heard the inquiry and barked lazily, then turned around on Amosta's shoulder and looked at the painted wall in the alley.
"I don't think so."
"See?"
Amosta smiled and said,
"I'm sure there won't be such an arrogant Animagus."
Remus was finally relieved, he knew that although Amosta was sometimes 'dissolute', he was not a stupid person and would not take it lightly, so he took his wand back and followed Amosta into the alley.
Amelia apparently wanted to remind them that since the cat already had an owner, they should go back to the Congress, go to the Magical Beasts Department to find out who its owner was, and then return it, rather than taking it to a place that was rumored not to be particularly decent.
The method of entering the Blind Pig Bar was not as complicated as Amelia had imagined, Amosta just walked up and knocked on the wall, and then a small window suddenly opened, and behind the window was a pair of dark owl eyes, he just looked at them, and without asking anything, he pulled open the wall disguised as red bricks.
Before entering the door, Amosta seemed to remember something, and he turned his head to look at Amelia, who was faintly resistant,
"Haven't been to a place like this?"
Amelia pursed her lips and shook her head sincerely.
"So a word of advice for you--"
Amosta said in a brisk voice,
"Whatever you see, don't make a fuss."
The waiter who opened the door for them looked young, with a slightly pointed jaw and gray skin. He heard the conversation, but he turned a deaf ear to it, instead staring at Hobie on Amosta's shoulder with interest with the red eyes of the owl.
"I'm sureβ"
Remus followed Amosa into the bar, while Amelia was still grinding outside the door, and when the waiter walked back to the bar to attend to his business, he whispered in Amosta's ear,
"This waiter is a vampire."
But it wasn't a big deal, after Remus saw what the bar was all about.
This bar is a little smaller than the famous Leaky Cauldron Bar, but the environment is much worse. The dimly lit bar was filled with smoke that smelled of stinking socks scorched on the stove, smoke from the smoking sticks of wizards sitting at the tables.
Behind the bar, an old-looking house-elf, but with relatively smooth movements, is serving drinks to customers, and the vampire waiter who opens the door is responsible for serving drinks to customers, he is not the only vampire in this bar, and there are two guys in trench coats who also have obvious vampire characteristics when they enter the window on the left hand side of the door.
A leprechaun in a sexy sundress with many sparkling sequined sundresses stood on a round table and danced, and her graceful dancing and amorous eyes made Remus fall into consternation.
"I've never seen goblins like this, I thought they would only"
Remus, who deals with elves a lot, finds himself unable to find a word to describe this female goblin.
"There's so much you haven't seen, boy!" A bearded wizard slammed Remus as he went to the bar to get a drink, and shouted drunkenly, "Get out of the way, get out of the way!" β
Remus found himself a little unaccustomed to the style of the underground wizarding world, and he forced his unpleasantness to make way for the man.
"In my opinion, it's supposed to be a hybrid of a goblin and a wizard."
Amosta also glanced at the goblin with interest and gave her own judgment.
Bang!
The sound of heavy slapping on the table caught the attention of the trio, and they followed the sound, and at a glance, Remus immediately changed.
On the front side of the wall, under an oil painting of piles of gold Galleons, several rough men were playing cards, one of them swearing and pulling Galleons and Sicos from his pocket, apparently losing money.
Werewolves, and most likely werewolves of origin!
Remus didn't need much recognition to distinguish his own kind.
Most of the werewolves in England were Greyback's men, and now they are all the ghosts of Amosta's men, but before that, Remus had not seen a few werewolves swaggering in public, and even in the underworld, they rarely stayed.
Werewolves, vampires, house-elves, goblins, and wizards
Oh, and the most striking thing is the half-blood giant who occupies a box around the corner alone
Unlike Hagrid, who was human-oriented, the big guy who was nearly seven or eight feet tall even when he sat down and would poke through the roof of his house when he stood up was more of a purebred giant.
With so many species in the same room and no war, even Remus was in awe of the owner of this bar.
