Chapter 900: Newt Scamander

Amosta stopped, and then looked away from the three cats who had appeared in the paddock, and pointed at the wizard whose apparition had shifted to the vicinity.

Judging by the length of his hair and beard, as well as the depth of the folds of skin on his forehead and cheeks, the old wizard in his dark gray trench coat and waistcoat was very old, but like Dumbledore, he looked in good spirits, and his hands were still athletic, as evidenced by the effortless drop from a few feet above the ground after his appearance.

Immediately, the two looked at each other, just like Dumbledore, the old wizard's eyes were not the vicissitudes of life that a person of this age should have, but clear and calm.

"Please stop irritating this poor little fellow, Mr. Blaine,"

The old wizard looked at Amosta in mid-air and said,

"Unless, I recognized the wrong person, oh, but I haven't made that mistake in years."

"Why?"

Amosta asked calmly,

"This cystic leopard has made quite a stir tonight, and in my opinion, it would be wise to keep it a little more secure."

"You won't succeed unless you try to kill it,"

The old wizard's gray eyebrows moved,

"It's proud, and it's almost impossible to learn to succumb to violence."

Amosta's expression shifted slightly, and he looked at the poisonous leopard in the paddock that was rushing left and right.

Just like Newt Scamander said, even if it is in prison, the leopard has not given up on breaking through, it desperately hits the giant trees that surround the paddock, but these giant trees with magical protection are indestructible, no matter how it hits, it can't shake a single bit, and the fire net above is an existence that can be touched and killed.

Gradually, the tragic poisonous leopard smuggled to New York revealed mourning in its dark eyes, and it gasped in place, looking up at the dazzling golden fire dragon overhead, and it aimed at the hole in the fire net, as if it was about to die.

"So what do you think I should do?"

Amosta asked thoughtfully,

"Don't give it a chance to kill itself, just knock it out?"

"Oh, maybe we can go a more gentle way."

Newt's eyebrows jumped suddenly, remembering what Albus had told him, and the young man in front of him sometimes acted decisively, he hurriedly said,

"If you're willing to let me in, maybe I can make it quiet."

Amosta slowly landed on a giant tree,

"Of course, but please hurry up, I think the Muggles will soon find out what is going on here, and the Aurors of the Magic Congress will be coming soon, they are in a lot of trouble tonight, and they may not have the patience to wait for you to tame it."

"I'm sure I'll be able to solve the problem quickly." Newt said.

Amosta waved his wand he had borrowed from Amelia, and the giant tree beneath his feet suddenly rose up, revealing a doorway that could pass through people.

The restless leopard immediately noticed a gap in the paddock, and it stared at the doorway, whimpering lowly, and creeping its body closer and closer to that side, for fear that it would be some kind of trap.

Three raccoon cats roaming nearby leapt to Newt's shoulders and heads, and the three little ones felt the danger emanating from the paddock and guarded Newt like patronus.

"Don't be nervous, Hobie, Millie, Moller, we can deal with it, can we?"

Sensing their nervousness, Newt whispered a soft word of comfort as he pulled out a potion containing a pale cyan glow from his bosom as he passed through the doorway made by Amosta.

"Poor little one, what have you been through?"

When he saw the leopard, Newt immediately noticed the scar on its shoulder, and he couldn't help but sniff.

"I can come and help relieve some of the pain, but only if you don't bite my neck, deal?"

The envelope looked at the old wizard who appeared in its vision, a trace of confusion flashed in its dark pupils, it could feel a gentle aura from him, and there was a faint urge to approach, but the encounter in the past two months had made it restrain its impulse, and bared its teeth at Newt, warning him not to come any further.

"The breath of the cyst poison leopard contains a very deadly poisonous gas, this poison comes from its poison sac, however, this is a double-edged sword, although it has a very strong resistance to the venom it secretes, it will still bring it pain I used the venom of another magical animal to prepare a little potion, I think it will work-"

Newt uncorked the bottle and tapped the mouth with his wand, and then the glowing potion in the bottle quickly evaporated, and the bottle emitted a steady stream of light cyan fluorescent mist.

Immediately after, Newt waved his wand again, and a gust of wind appeared, almost instantly, filling every inch of the paddock with green smoke.

The thin green smoke billowing below Amosta had the urge to put a bubble spell on himself—

But the effect was immediate, the sudden smoke startled the leopard, and it took a few sharp steps back, but when the smoke poured through its black nose, the ferocity in the leopard's eyes faded at a speed that was almost visible to the naked eye.

Hiss. Hiss.

The leopard slowly lifted its attacking stance, crouched on the ground, inhaling vigorously, and the thick, rhythmic red glow around its neck flickered less frequently, and seemed to shrink a little.

"Oh, look, it works."

The old wizard said happily,

"But before I get close to it, I'd better be prepared."

As he spoke, he fumbled for two more tubes of potion from his pocket, and after pouring one of them into his mouth, he burped a few times and touched a brown mist from his nose and ears, apparently in preparation for the poisonous gas carried by the leopard's breath.

Newt chased the three raccoons off of his body, but the three little ones were visibly unhappy, and they lingered around him, playing with his trouser legs with their paws.

"Oh, no, you can't come with me, you can't stand the poison gas on it--"

Newt shook his head solemnly at the three raccoons, then pointed at Amosta,

"Go to him and wait, if something happens, he will protect you."

Hobie, who had been in contact with Amosta, hesitated, turned his head to look at the gray-haired wizard, met Newt's resolute gaze, and finally whispered twice to Miri and Moller, and the three cats swooped up down the wooden wall.

Hobie slipped onto Amosta's shoulders with great familiarity, and Millie and Moller sniffed Amosta's trouser leg before jumping up unrecognized.

Feeling the heavy pressure on his shoulders and on the top of his head, the corners of Amosta's mouth twitched, and suddenly he felt an urge to kill something, but he restrained his emotions and looked at Newt below with concern.

This is a world-famous master of magical animals, and his knowledge of magical creatures is unsurpassed, but after all, he is not young, and Amosta is a little worried that he will flash to his waist--

And Amosta's worries turned out to be completely useless, and after moving, Newt showed a vigor that was in no way commensurate with the sluggishness of an old man of his age, and he bent down and pressed his hands on the ground, as if to mimic the sac poison leopard This is not an uncommon way to contact wild magical animals, the only problem is that you must know enough about the habits of this creature, otherwise, you will send yourself into the mouth of the tiger.

Purr, purr. Aang--woo-woo-

Newt moved a few feet forward on all fours, then suddenly rolled on the ground, making a strange noise at the leopard, and shrugging his shoulders and licking his shoulders

Amosta pursed her lips, the corners of her mouth twitching.

And the poisonous leopard seemed to be a little stunned, the beast craned its neck and stared at Newt, its huge body began to shake unconsciously, and its attention gradually became all on Newt-

Gollum.

Newt continued to roll around and approached the puff, and a granite-colored stone egg rolled out of his pocket, and rolled in front of the panther with a grunt, and when he saw this stone egg, the panther's dark eyes suddenly lit up, and even Amosta, who thought Newt had made a mistake and became nervous, could see that the panther seemed to like this stone egg very much.

The leopard let out a friendly growl at Newt, who was on all fours, and then crawled down again, plucking the stone egg in front of it with its strong forelimbs, playing with its two paws, and occasionally licking the hard stone egg with its tongue that was full of it.

At this scene, the wrinkles on Newt's cheeks stretched a lot, and he secretly breathed a sigh of relief, and stepped more vigorously to approach the cystic leopard with that strange gait
