"When the water is clear, there are no fish, and when people are observed, there are no fugitives." Therefore, the wisdom of dealing with the world is: when you are confused, you are confused. As the saying goes: great wisdom is foolishness. Sincerity, simplicity, and being at ease with what comes your way, these are great wisdoms; Drilling, tricks, and grandstanding are just clever.

People with little cleverness are speculative and busy all their lives, and may eventually be mistaken by cleverness; But a wise and foolish person is ordinary and indifferent, but his life is safe. In the vast sea of people, intricacies, we don't need to be overly entangled in many non-principled things, if everything is more serious, we can only set up one more roadblock for ourselves, add one more level. During the Three Kingdoms period, there were two wise and wonderful performances of pretending to be confused: one was when Cao Cao and Liu Bei were cooking wine and talking about heroes, Liu Bei pretended to be confused and was able to get out; Second, when Cao and Ma were fighting for power, Sima Yi pretended to be confused and killed Cao Shuang. Therefore, later generations concluded: "It is often insufficient, and Meng Meng is a minister." ”

The poet Su Dongpo is very smart, but his career is bumpy, so he wrote a poem and sighed: "Everyone says that being smart is good, but I have been mistaken by being smart all my life." I hope that the birth of a child is foolish and reckless, and there will be no disasters and no difficulties to the minister. ”

Ancient and modern disasters have been brought to disaster, shrewdness is nine out of ten, and there is no one who is rich and has suffered disaster. Today's people are afraid that they are not shrewd, and therefore they are foolish. In fact, a shrewd person must be very shrewd to be considered a shrewd person, and the shrewdness is implied in the application of the rich, which is a kind of wisdom, and if the cleverness is too much, it becomes stupidity. Many people have suffered from disasters throughout the ages, and among these people, nine out of ten are shrewd, and they have not heard of those who have suffered disasters because of their simplicity and kindness. Today's people are only afraid that they are not smart enough, which is actually a shallow and stupid consciousness.

Pretending to be confused will make people think that you are incompetent and make people ignore your existence, but when necessary, you will be quiet, preemptively, and let the other party fail in confusion, this is the strategy of the soldiers, and it is also the strategy of the world.

From one point of view, we can also understand that small things are foolish and big things are clear, which is a very high cultivation and realm of human beings.

The so-called stupidity is intentional confusion. When it is time to be confused, we must not be afraid of our own face, our own knowledge, our own status, and our own power. And when you should be smart and sober, you must be smart. From smart to confused, from confused to smart, so that you can be left and right, not disturbed by troubles, not burdened by personnel, so that you can have a happy, happy and successful life. Xie Wan, the younger brother of Xie An, the prime minister of the Jin Dynasty, once competed with the Cai family for a seat, and the Cai department actually pushed Xie Wan off the seat. But Xie Wan stood up unhurriedly, patted his clothes, sat back in his seat, and said slowly, "You almost hurt my face." Cai said: "I didn't think about your face in the first place. But then neither of these two people took it to heart, and people praised their state of mind, which is really difficult for ordinary people to do. We shouldn't be careless about everything, we should be confused when we should be confused, and we should be smart when we should be smart. Really smart people are often so smart that people don't think they're smart, that is, people who sometimes seem "stupid" and "confused" are actually the smartest people.
