You can't decide the beginning, but you can decide the end

People are born with suffering, such as those who come from poverty, those who are born with disabilities, and so on. However, smart people do not indulge in this pain, because they believe that they can still create a happy ending without a happy beginning.

In life, many things are really not up to us. As far as the body is concerned, part of life is a wealthy family, and most of the time we will be born in an ordinary family. Born in a different family background, you can accuse God of "injustice", but you must not complain about others, get by, and waste your good youth.

In fact, many successful people also have a very low starting point in life, but they can turn this "injustice" into motivation, and climb to extraordinary heights at an ordinary starting point. And the key factor for the success of these people is their attitude towards life and the mentality of being a human being. Robert Barani was born into a poor family and was diagnosed with bone tuberculosis at a young age. Due to poverty and no money for a cure, his knee eventually became disabled – permanently stiff. The parents were saddened for their son, and Barani, of course, was in great pain. However, even though he was only seven or eight years old at the time, he knew how to hide his pain, and he said to his parents: "Don't be sad for me, I can do what I can do as a healthy person." Hearing their son's words, his parents were filled with joy and sorrow, and hugged him with tears streaming down their faces.

From then on, Barani was determined to prove that he was no worse than others! The parents were very pleased with their son's strength and "competitiveness", and they alternately took Barani to and from school every day, and they did not change for more than ten years! Barani has also lived up to his parents' hard work and has not forgotten his vows, and his grades have consistently been among the best in his grade from elementary to secondary school.

At the age of 18, Barani was admitted to the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Vienna, where he received his doctorate. After graduating from university, he worked as a trainee doctor at the University of Vienna Otology Clinic, where he was appreciated by the famous doctor Adam Politz at the University Hospital. As a result, Politz gave enthusiastic guidance to his work and research. Since then, Barani has conducted in-depth research and exploration of the nystagmus phenomenon, and after many years of hard work, he published a research paper entitled "Observation of Thermal Nystagmus". The publication of this paper has received wide attention and recognition from the medical community, and the "thermal test method" of otology has been born. On this basis, Barani delved into the field again and finally proved through experiments that the vestibular organ of the inner ear is related to the cerebellum, which laid the foundation of otological physiology.

A few years later, the famous otologist Adam Politz became seriously ill and entrusted him with the management of the Otology Institute and the teaching of otology at the University of Vienna. Barani was under a lot of pressure from the heavy workload, but he was not afraid to do his job, and he continued to study his profession in addition to his excellent work. Since then, Barani has published two books, "Physiology and Pathology of the Semicircular Canal" and "Functional Tests of the Vestibular Apparatus", and for his breakthrough contributions in the field of scientific research, the Austrian Royal Crown decided to knight him, and then Barani won the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine.

Barani published a total of 184 scientific papers in his lifetime, and has treated many patients with terminal otology diseases. In honor of his remarkable achievements, tests to detect vestibular disorders, to examine cerebellar activity, and tests related to balance disorders in the medical profession are named after him. What is Barani's starting point? - The family is poor and disabled since childhood, and its situation can be described as "miserable"! However, it was the adversity that inspired him to fight and eventually achieve something that could be called great. Imagine what would he have been without the stimulus of poverty and disability? Maybe he will become an ordinary person who has no worries about food and clothing. What if he was depressed and withdrawn in the face of adversity? You can only sink deeper and deeper into the abyss of poverty. Fortunately, he did not do this, and with the help of his parents and his own efforts, he adjusted the direction of his behavior with the correct attitude and rules of life. In this way, a broad road appeared in front of his eyes, leading him out of the predicament and leading him to a more valuable and meaningful life path.

What is a low starting point? It is nothing more than a kind of grinding, if you can be like Barani, use the grinding as an inspiration, and use hard work to challenge the difficulties, you will definitely be able to be recognized by others, so that others will look up to you.

It is true that the way people live is often determined by their own ideas, even if we have a poor starting point, there are still infinite possibilities in life. The strong man we see today, how do you know that he was not weak at the beginning? In fact, the vast majority of successful people, like you and me, did not have a happy start at the beginning, but they used perseverance and hard work to create a perfect ending for themselves.

There is no doubt that we all want to be strong in life. Then stop complaining about the facts that can't be changed. Whether you have a poor background or a congenital disability, all the reasons that give you a "humble" starting point cannot be an excuse for you to be "unmotivated". In fact, success is such a thing, as long as you are really willing to ask for it, you can get it.
