Xiang Minzhong was still submissive and didn't say a word. After exiting, someone asked the head of the kitchen, is there a banquet for relatives and guests today? There was no answer.

The next day, the emperor said: "Xiang Minzhong is a powerful official. Xiang Minzhong was unmoved by such a major appointment, and accepted all the gains and losses. This made it possible to be happy and angry, and people congratulated him three times, and he responded modestly three times without saying a word. It can be seen that he has a self-contained weight and superhuman composure. As it is said in the Book of Changes, "Zhenggu is enough to do things". Therefore, he has been a high-ranking official for 30 years, and people have not complained a word. He can use such a way of dealing with politics and the world, and he can accept the honor and disgrace of advance and retreat calmly and humbly.
