9. Must know how to wait
In life, people have encountered a lot of waiting. Waiting is always there, from waiting for my mother to come back to cook when I was a child, waiting for the bus to go to work when I am middle-aged, and waiting for my son to visit relatives when I am old. "The willow tops on the moon, people about after dusk", everyone has waited anxiously in this sweetness. There are also waiting for the end of class, waiting for the end of school, waiting for going home; Waiting for friends to reunite after a long absence, waiting for the delayed plane, waiting for the star's concert; Waiting for the reunion of the Spring Festival, waiting for the title of the gold list, waiting for the arrival of your son...... There are joys, worries, helplessness, and impatience in waiting, which are mixed with the flavors of the world, and unconsciously let people learn patience, tolerance, choice, rejection of decisiveness, punctuality, law-abiding and discipline, and let people cherish the opportunities and achievements they have obtained. As they often say, "You have to know how to wait".
Waiting is also a science, not a murder of efficiency.
Since 1995, the United Nations Environment Programme and the Xinjiang Institute of Environmental Protection Science have cooperated to investigate the distribution areas of wild camels in China and the only four in the world, and after five years of investigation, six entered Lop Nur, and announced to the world on February 10, 2001: wild Bactrian camels were found in the saline area of the northern desert of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China.
In order to allow the common people to see these rare animals on TV, China Central Television organized an expedition to go to that area to shoot.
On April 11, 2001, the expedition team set out and chose Hongliugou as the "shooting" site. Because it is the only water source within a radius of several tens of kilometers, and the vegetation is dense, there are no natural predators of wild camels such as wolves. They searched here for a long time, but found no trace of wild camels once seen here. Eventually, they discovered that there had been sheep herding in the area. Wild camels have a particularly sensitive sense of smell, and they do not appear in places where people move.
As a result, the expedition team had no choice but to abandon Hongliugou and find another place to "keep shooting". Later, in the heart of the Kumtag Desert, a place called Rabbit Gully was found, and they camped here for the night.
In order not to be discovered by the wild camels, they hid in bunkers, did not dare to speak or move, and could only lie there and quietly drink some water and eat something. Not only is it hot and dry, but even animals rarely appear, and in addition, they can't move, talk and laugh, and the time is difficult, as you can imagine. Minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day, the wild camel still did not show up.
At 7 p.m. on the seventh day after encamping in Rabbit Gully, the observers prepared to leave the bunker and return to the camp, as it was normal for wild camels to go out to find water to drink at this time. But at this moment, the expedition team found a small black spot about 2 kilometers away, a large male wild camel, on the lens of the last camera that had not yet been packed. The wild camel may have spotted the expedition, and did not continue into the valley to drink, but walked slowly. That night, the expedition members were both excited and worried, fearing that the wild camels would not appear again because of the discovery of human tracks. Thankfully, they thought of some exceptions, namely that wild camels were not afraid of people in some special situations. On 12 May 1995, some of their members observed the two-peaked wild camel at a distance of just over 30 metres from the camel. Because it was a mother and son, the little wild camel had just been born, and its body hair was still a little wet. In order to protect the newborn, the female wild camel had to prepare to "calmly take justice". They analyzed that wild camels generally drink water once every seven days, and they have been waiting for seven days, and this is the only water source within a radius of dozens of kilometers, as long as there are wild camels here, even if they find people, they will definitely come to drink water. Thus, on the second day, the expedition team was able to clearly photograph the movement of the 8-peaked wild camels and observed another group of wild camels with a total of 10 peaks. They wanted to shoot again, and waited for another 5 days, but the wild camels never appeared again, and it is estimated that they had found another source of water and would never come to this place where people had appeared to drink water again. It seems that we humans are indeed terrible.
In many cases, on many occasions in our lives, waiting may be the only way to go. You feel that you are wasting time and losing patience, so you can only retract your empty hands and leave "quickly", perhaps like that blurry black dot on the camera lens, the harvest is long overdue at the moment you leave.
Therefore, it is also important to be good at waiting, successful people are often good at waiting, waiting, anyone can feel and experience, but the beauty of waiting for the result can only be experienced by those who are attentive.
